Chapter 176
Angel arrived at the mall as the massacre was beginning. He should've seen this coming, Aristad would need many casualties, ofcourse they'd attack the mall on it's busiest day. Angel also wished Doyle's visions could come earlier at times. Angel arrived and Buffy was fighting zombies, buying civilians time to escape. Somehow Warren and Amy's bodies weren't rising. Angel figured Aristad would have to be very close to raise the dead. He looked around, a door leading to secure areas was popped open. Isolated area, close to the zombies, most likely Aristad was indeed there. Angel quickly went inside, there was the war criminal himself. He tried to kill Angel. Aristad used his abilities to jam a lead pipe through Angel's heart. He apparently didn't know that Ange was a vampire, or maybe didn't realize it had to be wood. This didn't kill him, but it weakened Angel. When Aristad thought Angel was dead Angel snuck up and snapped Aristad's neck. With this raiser dead the zombies all collapsed, forever dead never to rise again.
