In his underground lair the Master held a private conference with Absolom. Colin was there, as the Master's newest student. For all his strength the Master couldn't break free from this barrier. He had acquired new strength in his hibernation, but it still wasn't enough. But he had been patient, he just had to hold on a bit longer. Then, according to prophecy, he would bring about the end of the world. Absolom told his master about recent events.
Master: The slayer has become evil. How fitting for the end.
Absolom: There are others, from the line of Sinea. Potential slayers. One killed Claw, two of the five who rose that night. She could be a threat.
Master: Indeed. The life of a slayer is short, even by human standards. We should be prepared, should this girl become a slayer. Does she have loved ones?
Absolom: She does indeed Master.
