Chapter 178
On Monday November 26th Oz brought Veruca to the library at Sunnydale high near sunset. Veruca quickly noticed the empty cage where Mr Giles kept important books, now conspicuously empty.
Veruca: I didn't like school when I went. Why are we here after school?
Oz: Giles said you could use this cage on full moons, like tonight.
Veruca: No big wheel?
Oz: Please, you don't want to hurt innocent people.
Veruca: Give me a reason to stay.
Oz: I can't be with you if you go hunting on these nights.
Veruca; Okay, I'll go in.
Oz opened the cage and Veruca pushed him in and locked them both inside.
Oz: What are you doing?
Veruca: I'm not staying in here alone.
Oz: In wolf form you'll tear me apart.
Veruca: You'll have a fighting chance. Last week I replaced your special pills with placebos.
Oz: What? If I turn once I'll always be a werewolf.
Veruca: I know. It's time to embrace the wolf.
Oz looked at Veruca with a mix of love, hate, and lust. As he ppepared for the change Oz and Veruca kissed passionately.
