After a while of travel/training, the now-caravan of Leaf shinobi, people from Shinji's world and former Sound captives stopped at a small village where Naruto used some of the money that Karin and his parents left them to rent a hole hotel which didn't even scratch the surface of the cash.

While training, Naruto's Shadow Clones mastered Uzumaki sealing for him, so now Naruto dad his staff sealed into the back of his right hand so that he could call it out when he needed it and with a recall seal placed on the staff itself, it would always return to him when he called it so it couldn't be stolen.

Shinji now had Orochimaru's Sword of Kusanagi sealed in the back of his right hand. The seal was covered by a fingerless glove. He would start taking swordsmanship lessons once they made it to the Leaf.

Shinji also learned that his elements were Earth and Fire. It fit him. After all, he had the Sharingan and that naturally means that you have Fire release.

But, presently, Misato and Shinji were walking through this town.

Misato was holding on tightly to Shinji, her super human body guard. Shinji saw all the male members of this village looking at him jealousy.

Out of nowhere, a kid dressed in rags ran past them holding tightly onto a black box while a ninja in a full black outfit using a surf to hide his face and who's headband had three z's on it chased after him.

Shinji quickly moved Misato to the side as the ninja pulled out what looked like a paper talisman.

The ninja placed it on his forehead and red chakra was released from it.

Yin Kurama spoke up. "That's the chakra of the Three Tails."

Shinji watched as the ninja morphed into a full-sized three-tailed lion turtle.

Yin Kurama stated, "So, the talisman holds Tailed Beast chakra which rapidly grows in power while entering the body of a human, mutating them into a clone of a Tailed Beast. A pseudo Tailed Beast. Clever for a human."

The kid that the ninja-turned-pseudo Three Tails was after tripped and it reached to grab him.

Misato and Shinji were right in the way of the arm. There was no way that he could outrun or try to fight a Tailed Beast fake. Misato would die. That idea made his eyes hurt as they turned red and his pupils morphed into a five pointed star.

Shinji raised his right arm as blue chakra morphed around him, forming a giant ribcage and right bone arm that copied Shinji's moves.

This was an incomplete Susanoo. Just the thought of losing Misato gave him the Mangekyō Sharingan.

The Susanoo arm grabbed hold of the fake Three Tails and threw it out of the village and into the forest.

The incomplete Susanoo vanished as the kid and Misato looked at him with their jaws on the ground.

Shinji told her, "Misato, get this Kid to the others. Something weird and big is going to go down." He looked at them with his new Mangekyō Sharingan.

Misato nodded and pulled the kid along.

The next thing Shinji knew, he was doing the Summoning jutsu and had summoned Eva-01. He was right in its cockpit. His subconscious mind clearly knew how to use the link.

The villagers were gasping in shock from the sight of the purple monster with the Leaf symbol.

Eva-01 leaped into the forest after the pseudo Three Tails.

Meanwhile, in NERV…

Everyone had just seen Eva-01 vanish into thin air.

Maya spoke. "Ritsuko. The link to Eva-01is working and it looks like it's in battle. I'll bring it up on screen."

Eva-01's battle with the pseudo Three Tails then came on screen.

Shinji could hear Asuka yelling, "What the hell is that thing."

Shinji saw her face pop up on a holo-screen, so his eyes quickly turned back to normal. "A lion turtle. Also, Rits, all your theories on the AT Field are wrong. I know. I landed in a world where people know so much about it that replaces all tech. Just watch the fight. It'll show you what I mean."

The fake Three Tails rolled into a ball and raced towards Eva-01. Shinji could hear Kensuke saying "Holy Sonic the Hedgehog."

Shinji heard Rits telling him to avoid it, but he quickly forced some chakra into Eva-01's arms and caught it, holding the spinning ball of death back as he said, "Rits, you idiot. There is a village full of people behind me. I dodge, 1000s die. Also, to counter an AT Field, you need to use your own and you've got to get close for that, so you giving us guns to fight with is a waste of money and just plain dumb."

Gendo looked at Ritsuko. "He's right. Maya. Ritsuko. You two will switch jobs, starting today."

Shinji quickly growled as he thought, 'Come on, you stupid fox. Give me some chakra or we'll both die by this fake.'

And it was that thought that pissed off Yin Kurama to no end. Purple chakra formed around Eva-01, forming an ear and tailless Shroud.

Eva-01 quickly lifted the spinning ball up and body slammed it into the ground, making the fake Three Tails' spin stop.

Toji yelled out, "And body slam!"

Eva-01 quickly formed a Rasengan, quickly making Maya say, "That's a three dimensional AT construct, so he's right, Ritsuko, since everything you thought about the AT Field is wrong."

Eva-01 was about to deliver the ball of pain into the fake Three Tails' head, but it's tail grabbed hold of his arm and coral started to form around Eva-01's body, turning and trapping it.

As the fake Three Tails' tail flipped Eva-01 over its back and into the ground, body slamming the Evangelion and braking the coral Maya said, "The enemy used the AT Field to create organic matter."

Shinji snapped out, "Thanks Captain Obvious." Everyone in NERV could now see his red eyes' slitted pupils as Eva-01 stood up to see the pseudo Three Tails charging a Tailed Beast Ball blaster.

Shinji just said, "Oh fuck. At least the village isn't behind me anymore." Before NERV could process Shinji cussing, he made the Eva jump up high in the sky, avoiding the blast.

Eva-01 quickly made a Shadow Clone make using Fire Release chakra, triggering Maya to say, "The Evangelion has pulled away part of it's AT Field to make an unstable copy of itself."

The real Eva-01 threw the clone at the oversized turtle, so as Eva-01 landed, the clone hammer dived at the turtle before exploding into a controlled flame for a second.

Maya said, "The copy Evangelion has converted itself into heat energy."

Kensuke was jumping up and down yelling, "Shinji, you have got to teach me that combo move when you get back!"

Shinji looked at the fake Three Tails. It was a little burned but still standing, so he deployed his Progressive Knife. "For a cheap copy of the real thing, you sure don't die easy."

The fake Three Tails responded with, "Why, thank you. When my ancestor invented this jutsu, that's what he was going for."

The two charged at each other as Shinji asked, "So, what's this whole thing about, buddy?"

The fake Three Tails, using its tails to hold back Eva-01's arms as he started punching it in the head, told him, "Since you asked, my ancestor made the Tailed Beast replication talismans from the real beast's powers, allowing any human like myself to become a copy of it, but only one full set of nine remains."

Shinji screamed out in pain. "And that kid you were chasing has that set."

The fake smirked, "Bingo. My leader wants them so that he may use all nine to become the ultimate monster and rule this world."

Gendo listened and thought, 'Sounds like me.'

Shinji screamed as his Eva-01 ran out of power, making the green parts of it turn black.

Shinji screamed, "I WON'T GO OUT LIKE THIS!" Eva-01 roared back to life as the parts of it that were normally green gave off a grey glow.

Eva-01 head butted the fake Tailed Beast before it dropped its knife and grabbed hold of the tails holding its wrists.

Eva-01 and Shinji both roared as it threw the Tailed Beast faker in to the ground behind it, moving the fight farther from the village.

Shinji's headband fell off as his hair hid his eyes. "Now you've made me mad." He lifted his head to show NERV his red eyes. His pupils were now shaped like a black five-pointed star.

Shinji, without knowing it, used Susanoo's sword through Eva-01 making an unstable energy sword that looked like a katana made of water appear in its right hand.

Maya was shaking. "The Evangelion has used the AT Field energy to make a blade, and what the hell is going on with your eyes, Shinji?"

Shinji told her, "That's a story for another day. Now, back to you, Mr Fake." Eva-01 picked up the now-temporally paralyzed false Tailed Beast by the head.

Shinji spoke. "I know that you were once human, but seeing as you turned your back on that to be a monster, I have no problem killing you." Eva-01's blade stabbed the fake Tailed Beast in the gut as it let go.

Eva-01 let go of the faker as it coughed up blood. Shinji made Eva-01 swing the blade up while still in its gut, cutting the fake Three Tails' upper chest neck and head in half.

Blood rained down. NERV was gasping at the sight.

Hikari was holding on to Toji's arm.

Toji just said, "When they drop, they drop."

Asuka fainted were she stood.

Shinji's eyes returned to normal as he rubbed them, seeing as his vision was blurry for a couple of seconds. "Target neutralized. Pilot Shinji, signing out."

Shinji hit the eject plug button and was ejected from the plug.

Shinji used his ninja skills to jump down and, in a second, Eva-01 vanished from his sight.

Later that day, Jiraiya, Rei and Misato were with Shinji as he was having a doctor look over his eyes.

Jiraiya spoke. "You had the Sharingan for one day and you already unlock Mangekyō Sharingan."

The doctor stated, "The boy doesn't look to have anything wrong with his eyes."

Rei questioned, "I'm guessing that's strange?"

Shinji rubbed his eyes. "Yes, because I read about this Mangekyō Sharingan. It is an upgraded version of the normal Sharingan that can either make illusions real or boost the illusion powers of the user to be able to basically brain rape people."

Misato's jaw hit the ground. "Brain rape!"

Shinji was still rubbing his eyes. "But the Mangekyō puts a strain on the eyes, making the user slowly go blind as they use it and I used it to stop the fake Three Tails' arm by making that huge chakra arm. Then again, to make that sword I that used to finish him, my eyes should have some damage"

The doctor responded bluntly, "But they don't, so go."

The four left.

Jiraiya looked at him. "The fact your eyes burn but are fine means one of two things. Either the healing factor you get from being a Jinchūriki is healing your eyes and negating the negative effect of the Mangekyō."

Shinji finished with, "Or just slowing down the damaging effect so I won't' notice it sooner."

Misato screamed out, "This is bull shit!"

Rei told him, "But it looks like your subconscious mind knows how to summon Eva-01 when you need it, brother."

Shinji looked at his sister. "It looks that way, but I wonder how Naruto and the others are doing with trying to get that kid to talk."
