Chapter 184
Joyce tried to comfort her daughter. Joyce didn't know all the circumstances, but she knew that Buffy's friend Jessie was dead. She didn't know the right words, but just being there helped Buffy through this. Faith went to see Buffy when she got back tot own on Thursday November 29th.
Faith: Sorry about your friend.
Buffy: You mean that?
Faith: Yeah. I had nothing against Jessie.
Buffy: Good, because I need your help. The Master killed my friend to weaken me. He turned Jessie to learn what he can about me. I' going to make the Master pay for this. Giles thinks the vampires are laying low, biding their time with their limited numbers. I say we kill every vampire in this town. I can't kill them all, particularly the Master, alone, neither can you. If we find his location, we need to work together to destroy him.
Faith: I like where your head is at. But what if we come across Jessie or Angel?
Buffy: I said we kill every vampire we find, no exceptions.
