After his first transformation into a werewold Oz worked on his cage. Giles said he could use this one in the library, but Oz was thinking of the future, after graduation. Thanks to Veruca Oz would become a werewolf once a month, for the rest of his life. This was why he had pushed Willow away once. But maybe that relationship was doomed anyway, since Willow was apparently gay. The slayer seemed to accept Oz, but he had trouble accepting himself like this. And he couldn't live like that, just hunting, no regard for other lives, no conscience. The wold was inside of Oz, all the time. He had to control that, couldn't let the wolf win. Veruca might consider Oz weak, but he didn't care. Oz would not lose control again.
