Chapter 194
Buffy and Tara tried to be there for Xander and Willow after Jessie's death. They appreciated that, but they ended up spending time with each other. They'd known Jessie longer than Buffy, Tara, or Cordelia. Xander and Willow just shared their mutual grief, mutual fear over encountering vampire Jessie. Xander and Willow had dreams together, often involving other times and places. Sometimes Xander rescued Willow, other times Willow rescued Xander. Some dreams involved World War II ariel dogfights. Another dream involved them being cartoon mice being chased by an evil robot cat. Xander saved them by sending away to the ACME company for an evil robot dog. One dream had Xander and Jessie at the Bronze during the Harvest. Except this time Jessie was already a vampire on the Master's team. In the real world neither party metioned their dreams. So they didn't realize that they were sharing the exact same dreams.
