james returned home with the gifts and snuck them into his room whilst Kyle stayed in the living room with Scarlett. He had a quick shower before going downstairs to meet with the others.
"hey James" Ewart said, " I'm going to look after Scarlett tonight, so that you can all go and grab a pizza and a movie or whatever it is that young kids do nowadays."
"really?" James replied in disbelief
"yes, you need a break, especially being a single dad, so I'm going to let you have a good time tonight, go have fun"
"great, when are we going?" James replied
"right this second"Lauren said smirking, as she linked her arm through his and marched him out of the room.

"yeah it's okay" Kerry replied trying to make an effort to be a bit nicer to everyone
"so what did you guys do today." Lauren asked
"shopping really, just getting the presents in" James replied
"they are amazing presents" Kyle gushed "I've got mine early" he said teasing the two girls
"that's not fair!" Lauren whined "can I have mine."
she pouted when James shook his head.
"Anyway I've invited Tom round to hang with me and Kyle." James said
"he's coming round tomorrow night for dinner" Kyle added
kerry smirked in annoyance
"so you get to call the shots now?" She asked annoyed
"no Ewart agreed too" said James in a calm manner
