Ben continued working on Harmony. He'd heard the rumors about the infants being kidnapped, but since there was little he could do about that he just worked on his patient. Around 9pm Ben believed he could keep Harmony alive another three hours, but it was unlikely she would ever wake up again. Than the other patients were brought to this hospital. These were the eight newborns that had been kidnapped. They needed immediate attention and check-ups. Because they were short-staffed they needed Ben immediately. Ben didn't like to leave Harmony, but he knew she'd want him to take care of her baby. The infants were all okay. Ben, Chris Epps, and their superior Stanly Backer made sure they all survived. Ben wasn't sure what the kidnapping had been about, but he had his suspicions. When this was done he went back to Harmony. She was already dead. Ben waited until after midnight to report this. He falsified records to say that the time of death for Harmony Kendall was 12:03am December 26th. Dr Backer didn't believe him, but said nothing. Ben had given Harmony and her child the only Christmas gift he could.
