Chapter 217
When Buffy finished patrolling on Friday night she just went home. She had very few chances to have the house all to herself and wanted to take advantage of this. Her mother had said it was her job to protect Dawn, but considered this to be an easy night. She was with Steven, he was capable of protecting her. Than Buffy got the video message from Dawn's cellphone. Buffy was horrified to see Dawn bound and gagged. The unseen voice said that if Buffy wanted to see Dawn alive she had to get her witch friend Tara and be ready for the next call. Buffy called Tara and told her to meet them at Ms Burkle's house. Buffy recognized the voice, this was Spike. Buffy hoped that Angel could help fing Spike, and she knew that Ms Burkle was seeing Angel. Buffy still didn't neccessarily trust Angel, she hadn't forgotten that he was a vampire. Nor could Buffy forget about all the horrible things Angelus had done, but to save her sister Buffy would risk it.
