Hello again guys, I would like thank you guys for your suggestions. I had actually already thought about using Peter but wasn't sure if you guys would be keen on the idea but hearing your side of it has helped so thank you 'BeautifullyDamagedSimplyMe' and 'Brazos'.
Also thanks to a guest reviewer 'opinion'. You're right, I had also though about Elias playing a part of it but we won't hear of it just yet.
This is another chapter that flick through the past and present. Italics is Jasper's flashback so Carlisle isn't hearing anything that happened this time; just to make that clear.
One more thing, I know that lack of blood in a vampire doesn't actually do anything to it other than make it thirstier but in my story, it weakens them because it makes more sense in my opinion.
Disclaimer: I do not own twilight
Jasper's POV
I was lying on the ground, weak. Maria had stopped me from drinking blood to weaken me and now I struggled to move. I was being kept in a dark place but I had no idea where I was. I couldn't feel the emotions of any other vampire and although it sounded like a good thing, I wanted Maria. I wanted her comfort, I wanted her to tell me that she was only doing this because I deserved it; I just wanted to feel loved.
I have been stuck in this place for so long that it was driving me crazy; so crazy that as soon as I started hearing sounds, I felt relieved. That was until I felt the emotions of fear, determination and vengefulness. My eyes found the strength to flutter open and I saw Maria, Elias and Peter who was being dragged by two other newborns.
"Maria" I whimpered, desperately.
She walked towards me and crouched down to my level.
"You have won, Major" she whispered.
Elias smirked as he turned his head to Peter. Peter just glared back.
"What?" I questioned Maria.
"No matter how many times I dominate you, make you mine, you still go running back to Peter. You lied to me. I know there is something going on between you" she said, darkly.
"There isn't, I swear. Please don't make me do this" Peter begged.
"Silence!" Maria hissed.
Do what? What was Peter talking about? What was she going to make him do? I suddenly felt very afraid.
"If you want Peter, you can have him" Maria whispered, darkly.
The newborns suddenly moved Peter forward and he began to struggle against them. Elias, too, moved forward, pinned me down and turned me onto my stomach. I was too weak to fight against him.
"Maria, please" I begged, quietly. She looked at me directly in the eye and smiled evilly.
"He's going to hurt you so bad, you would never go near him again" she muttered.
She stood back up and turned to Peter. "If you don't do this, I will kill you and then him…painfully" she threatened.
Peter looked panicked as he looked at me regretfully.
"Don't, Peter. Please don't" I begged helplessly.
I could tell that my voice pained him but it didn't help. He started to walk forward, closer to me.
"I'm sorry" he whispered.
He thought he was doing this for the best but he was wrong. I would rather Maria kill the both of us rather than let him do this because we both knew this will not be the last time she would make him do this. Why would he agree to this?
Peter pulled my jeans off my legs along with my boxers and then I heard him undo his zipper. The next thing I knew, a sudden pain entered me and I could help the scream that left my mouth. I had never felt so much pain in my life; it just got worse and worse.
Peter kept thrusting himself in and out of me as Maria watched, satisfied with what power she had over us. Peter kept whispering sorry's as I struggled against Elias's grip.
"Stop! Please stop!" I screamed.
It felt like he was tearing me up inside and out. I couldn't take this anymore.
"Maria, please. Make him stop" I whispered, using up the last of my energy.
Elias looked at Maria and with her nod, he let me go. Peter pulled out of me, his face full of guilt. Elias turned my body over and put my clothing back on. This made me feel even weaker than I already felt.
"Jasper, I'm so, so sorry" Peter whispered before Maria ordered everybody out.
I couldn't move; not just because I was weak but because I felt so much pain. I was shaking with fear which was not good because I was expressing fear to Maria. She could punish me for that. Maria lay down next to me and ran her hand down my chest.
"Who do you belong to, Jasper?" She asked.
"You, always you" I replied immediately.
Her hand lowered to my waist as she undid my belt buckle. Her hand trailed down to my length and started to stroke me roughly.
"Then I am allowed to do whatever I want with you" she muttered as she began to tug harder.
I allowed her to do what she wanted with me. I may have hated this but it wasn't nearly as painful as what she had made Peter do.
"If you ever do anything wrong again, I know that Elias is wanting a go with you" Maria threatened.
"No, please" I cried.
I couldn't imagine further pain. Peter had hesitated but Elias generally wanted me to suffer. He would be as rough as possible.
"If you're good then I'll protect you" Maria offered.
I knew what that meant. I had to keep her happy. I started to lick her neck to encourage her to touch me. As long as I let her use me to satisfy her needs, she'll keep me safe from Elias.
Rosalie's POV
At Carlisle's question, Jasper froze and his body tensed. His eyes were looking through Carlisle rather than looking at him.
"Jasper" Carlisle called for his attention.
Jasper didn't respond to Carlisle's voice which worried us both. I touched his shoulder and he didn't even flinch although he usually would have.
"I think he's having a flashback" Carlisle guessed.
"Did your question cause it?" I asked him.
It would make sense. It happened right after he asked it and it must have reminded him of something meaning the chances were that the answer to Carlisle's question was that Maria had in fact made others hurt him sexually.
"Most probably" Carlisle answered as he stood from his seat.
Carlisle walked towards Jasper and started to examine his eyes. They were pitch black and distant; nothing like we had seen before. And then all of a sudden, Jasper pushed Carlisle back and hissed at him. For a moment, I believed that Jasper was back and had just gotten afraid of finding Carlisle directly in front of him but then Jasper started to back into the corner of Carlisle's study and growled. His eyes were still pitch black so he must still be in his own horrifying world and although I had no idea what was going on, I did know that if I took one step closer to him, he would not hesitate to attack.
"What are we going to do?" I asked.
Jasper bared his teeth at Carlisle when he looked him in the eye, venom pooling from his teeth. There had been a few times that Jasper had acted this way if one of us had appeared as a threat but in this case, it seemed so different.
"We're going to leave this room nice and slowly" Carlisle said quietly.
I nodded and slowly walked out of the door. Jasper continued to growl at our movement but as soon as Carlisle shut the door to his study so that Jasper was the only one in the room, his growling died out. Carlisle ran a hand through his hair as he tried to think.
"Ring Alice; she might be able to bring him back" he instructed.
I nodded and pulled out my phone.
Jasper's POV
I lay on my own as Maria went hunting. It had been a week and I was still not permitted to drink. It was torture because I could smell the human blood inside the bodies of the newborns that had just hunted and if I had enough energy, I would have probably torn one of them apart so I can drink the blood that they digested even though it does sound a little messed up but I was desperate.
"Jasper"
I hissed as my name was called by a familiar voice and tried and failed to lift myself in a defensive crouch. Peter was here. I had kept my distance away from him all week, staying by Maria's side so that she could protect me but now she wasn't here, Peter was dangerous.
"Jasper, please let me talk to you" he begged.
I growled at him and backed up. "Get away from me" I snarled.
"I had to do it, Jay. If I didn't she would have killed you" he argued.
"I would have rather got killed, you moron" I hissed back.
That silenced him. He lowered his body so that he wouldn't appear as a threat and gave me an apologetic look. Maria would hurt him if she came back here and saw him. I dragged my body over to him and rubbed my head against his cheek. It was a way to say that we were okay.
"You're weak" Peter stated, sadly.
I ignored him and just closed my eyes so that I didn't waste any more energy. Peter pulled a sleeve up and put his wrist to my mouth.
"I just hunted. The blood will be running through me" he explained.
It wasn't a good idea; once I start, I won't be able to stop meaning that I will just leave Peter as a weak, limp and starved vampire so he won't be able to defend himself. Although I was currently in this position, I had Maria to defend me. Besides, Maria would punish me if my eyes were no longer black. It just wasn't worth the trouble. I turned my head away from him and collapsed to the ground.
"Go…Maria…will..kill you" I gasped out.
He looked at me sympathetically before nodding and running off. I dragged myself back to the corner and closed my eyes again. Was it possible for a vampire to feel so exhausted? I heard another set of footsteps and then I realized Elias had just walked in and Maria wasn't here to help.
Alice's POV
I rushed home as fast as I could after seeing and hearing that Jasper was in trouble. I hated to see my mate in pain so when I saw the vision of the talk he was having with Carlisle, I felt so terrible. He had been through so much and I hadn't even realized it and there was still more for him to tell! I ran into the house to find Rose and Carlisle standing outside of the study.
"Be careful, Alice. If he doesn't recognize you, slowly make your way out. I hate to say it but he's dangerous right now" Carlisle explained.
Jasper wasn't dangerous, he just felt very vulnerable. I nodded and then slowly opened the door. Jasper was crouched in the corner, growling at me.
"Shh, it's okay baby. It's just me" I cooed as I lowered my body to let him know that I wasn't a threat.
He was shaking with fear but he slowly, very slowly, walked closer to me. He was cautious so I did my best not to move because if I did, there was no doubt that he would run. He rubbed his head against my cheek before looking away.
I slowly moved my hand into his soft hair. He flinched back with a growl and moved away from me. He returned back to the corner of the room and kept his eyes on me. He hissed as he saw Carlisle walk in.
"It didn't work" I said quietly.
We were all strangers to him. He was too far gone in his flashback to recognize us and even when he does come out of it, this was only going to happen again until we find a way to help him.
Jasper suddenly bolted from the corner and ran out of the study. Emmett got in his way as he ran down the stairs which was a big mistake; especially when Jasper thought he was in a place full of newborns. Jasper had Emmett pinned within a matter of seconds but just as Jasper was about to place a bite on Emmett's neck, Carlisle pulled Jasper off him.
Jasper growled and tackled Carlisle to the ground but this time, Edward intervened. He pushed Jasper to make him focus on Edward. Once he knew that he had Jasper's attention, he ran outside so they wouldn't destroy anything in the house.
Edward hissed and bared his teeth at Jasper. Although I was familiar with this behavior from Jasper, I had never seen it with Edward. I had to fight the urge to defend Jasper but I understood what Edward was doing. He was playing along with the character in Jasper's mind. The reason is because right now, Jasper was probably viewing Edward as the dominant vampire; somebody he feared so if he fought back, Jasper would back down.
They began to tackle each other on the grass and then Emmett stepped in again. Once Jasper realized that he was outnumbered, he lowered his body onto the ground so that he was lying on his back as he began to whimper. He moved his head back to reveal his throat. Was he waiting for somebody to bite his neck? Edward looked at me painfully, confirming my answer. Jasper never lets anyone near his throat so it was hard to believe that he appeared to be giving us permission to bite into it. How could anybody do that to him?
"I need you to do something" Edward said as he looked at me.
"What?" I asked. I would do anything if it helped Jasper.
"Crouch by him" Edward instructed.
I was unsure about why he wanted me to but I obeyed and slowly approached Jasper and crouched by his side. He was shaking more violently; I was scaring him. Jasper lifted his head slightly and began to lick my neck. It was an odd gesture but he has done it a few times before. It usually meant that he was putting his scent on me to make sure other vampire's back off but this just didn't seem to fit the reason behind it.
"It also means that he wants to surrender" Edward informed.
"But he was fighting you" I pointed out.
"Yeah but he doesn't realize that…I didn't want him to lick my neck….it's weird" he complained.
I rolled my eyes at him. It wasn't weird, it was normal behavior for a vampire. Because Jasper was the only one of us who spent time acting like a normal vampire, minus the torture, he was the only one who acted animalistic. It was one reason why we had to wait for him to 'act more human' before he started school. Carlisle hadn't wanted to risk Jasper growling and hissing at all of the students and then show strange behavior such as licking necks.
I stroked his hair to let him know that he was forgiven from whatever it was that he believed he did wrong. He then lifted himself back up and ran into the house.
"Dude, what the hell was that?" Emmett questioned.
"His past" Edward answered bluntly.
Carlisle walked up to me. "Do you have any idea how to track down Peter and Charlotte?" He suddenly asked.
I understood why he asked. They knew what Jasper had gone through so perhaps they knew what to do. They could help bring him out of this state that he is in.
"Peter is the key to all of this" Edward spoke surely.
He must have been a part of the flashbacks that Jasper was having. I looked back at Carlisle.
"I could try and see their future of where they will be next" I answered.
If this will help Jasper, I am willing to do all that I can to help.
I hope you guys liked this chapter. You will be hearing a lot more about his past in the next few chapters but I am willing to listen to any other suggestions.
And for those who read my other stories- I have a half written 'silent boy' and a half written 'to love the unloved' which one would you prefer me to update first? I'm hoping to update them both over the weekend.
