Professor Maggie Walsh prepared to move her project to Sunnydale. Her mysterious benefactor thus far was a vampire, but he recognized the need to adapt to this new science. Walsh doubted that this vampire really was Count Dracula, however she was willing to take his money, and the lab, even if she had to tolerate his eccentricities. Dracula, mad scientist, laboratory in the mountains, all that was missing was a hunchback named Igor. Whatever snide remarks people might make this experiment was neccessary. Demons clung to old ways and ancient fueds, and were hopeles with technology. Humans were smart, adaptable, but emotional and weak. With imperfection everywhere something had to be done, or all life was at stake. President-elect Wilkins understood this, that's why he was increasing her funding nd giving her the resources of the new Initiative. Walsh had worked on this project for years, her work would soon pay off. When Adam walked this earth, Walsh would know it had all been worth it.
