Chapter 237
As Larry walked home from the Bronze on Saturday night he thought about his future. Larry had a pretty good chance of going to college on a baseball scholarship. A college education was important, but Larry had dreams of making the 2016 Olympic baseball team. From there, God willing, Larry hoped to play for the Los Angelas Dodgers. At the club Larry had seen Buffy and Xander. Maybe this was wishful thinkng but Larry noticed things weren't great between those two. At times Larry let himself think of the possibility of being with Xander. Noone knew, Larry had never said this outloud before. He feared what his teammates would say. He'd heard some of the nasty comments they'd made about Willow and Tara. But Larry admired those ladies' courage, to come out in highschool. As Larry was thinking of this someone called his name. Larry turned around and there was a guy with a deformed face. Larry didn't know this person but he attacked Larry. Larry didn't know why this idiot was attacking him, but he fought back. This crazy man seemed suprised that Larry was this strong. The fight was brutal, but Larry was about to be killed, briefly. This vampire planned to turn the strong jock into one of the Master's minions. Before he could the vampire suddenly exploded into dust. Larry couldn't believe his eyes, he barely noticed Buffy with the wooden stake in her hands. When Larry noticed her he needed answers.
