Chapter 101

[A/N: It feels so darn fucking weird to write chapter 101. I swear I never thought this would feel so weird. And still we are nowhere near the end. :P]

"No. He doesn't." Michael retorted after a few minutes, brooding, "Father loves us all equally."

"Keep telling yourself that." Lucifer smiled back, and Gabriel, now meeting them, sighed.

"You two should really stop." Gabriel said, sounding tired.

"Gabriel. Tell him. He loves us all equally, doesn't he?" Michelangelo retorted.

"Is that why you two wanted to see me?" Gabriel scoffed.

"No. But first sort this one out, and then we'll move to the next one." Michael replied.

"Fine, here is what I have to say then..."Gabriel closed his eyes; feeling disappointed as usual, "You and I both know that is not the truth, Michelangelo."

"Father loves Lucifer..." Gabriel stated, "...more than he loves anything in the world."

Michelangelo scoffed for a bit, but then, he found the perfect come-back.

"Is that why you have been so worried, Lucifer?" He asked, a smile playing on his lips now.

"Why?" Lucifer asked back, a little confused what Michael was referring to.

"Because you are afraid, brother..." Michelangelo teased, "...that Father will love them more."

"You should know that I never harbor any impure emotions Michael..." Lucifer calmly answered, "...And the last thing I will ever be is unsure of my love for Father."

[A/N2: To those who are a little confused. There are said to be seven archangels. If you count Lucifer too, then the number comes to eight. In other religions, there are often three or four archangels. In some others, only Rafael and Michelangelo are given the archangel status. Archangels are the higher order of Angels, whom God created very personally and close to heart. You can search about them, if you find the topic interesting. I am presenting to you here a very twisted version of many literature stories amalgamated. And in no way do I intend to hurt anyone's personal beliefs. So please forgive me, if this story hurts you even a bit. Trust me, I have no intention at all.]
