Lindsay heard his girlfriend Eve tossing and turning. He knew she was having the usual dream. He would comfort her as best he could. In one day Richard Wilkins would be sworn in as the new president. Lindsay and Eve had been invited to the innaguration ceremony. Lindsay knew this would be a show of power, he had the ear of the president. And why not? Lindsay was partly responsible for Wilkins' victory. But this job required certain bad dealings, they were weighing on Lindsay's conscience. A group known as the "Senior Partners" ran Wolfram and Hart law firm. Noone he worked with seemed to know exactly what these senior partners were, most were too afraid to ask. Whatever they were Lindsay feared them, but also respected their awesome power. Lindsay once thought he could seek this power and still remain a good man.
