Chapter 106
[A/N: What do you guys think? Now that KR are coming back, will I get more readership? Hmmmm.]
"Yes, All-Father." They addressed in unison, Gabriel's face contorting with the intuitive feelings he was getting.
"I have gathered you here for something important, my children." Father started speaking, and Gabriel turned to Lucifer.
"You aren't lying to me?" He whispered.
"No, you already know that I don't lie." Lucifer whispered back.
"Then? You made peace with it." Gabriel asked, astonished.
"Yes. I am trying to make peace with it as much as I can. I am going to ignore their existence. You were right, I should learn not to care so much." Lucifer answered, and Gabriel heaved a sigh of relief.
It was a good sign, Gabriel thought. As such, if Lucifer doubted Father so much, he would most probably get much hatred in return, and that was the last thing Gabriel wanted to happen. He liked his brother more than all the other siblings, and appreciated that he was placed at the left hand of Father's position. It would do nobody good if Lucifer lost that position. Plus, atleast to Gabriel, nobody loved Father as much as Lucifer did. And, to some extent, Father loved nobody more than Lucifer.
He sighed. Then why? Why was this sinking feeling inside of his heart not going away?
