Ashuri: We do not own Pokémon. We wish we did but we don't.
"Idiot! Don't you just stand there!", a familiar voice yelled. My eyes widened when I saw the Riolu that had left me earlier run in from behind the tree. "What am I supposed to do? I don't want to hurt anybody!", I yelled back. Purple almost see through the claws came out of his paws. "This!", he sliced through one of the Bellsprout, a kind of watery blood was on his claws and splattered on the ground around the Bellsprout's now sliced up body. It was sliced into four pieces, it's lifeless black beady eyes stared up at the tree. "This world is all about survival of the fittest." The Bellsprout's leaves moved when they were rustled by the wind.
My eyes widened and tears started to form at the corner of my eyes, "I can't kill Pokémon!" A Bellsprout stood still while staring directly into my eyes, his feet came out of the ground coming for me. The roots wrapped around my front paws and started to drag me toward the Bellsprout. The Riolu sliced through the roots that were wrapped around my paws. "The only way you will survive is to kill! Instead of being the one killed, you have to kill them!" Another Bellsprout ran at me and right before it reached me the Riolu sliced the Bellsprout into pieces. Its watery blood splattered on my fur. The Riolu didn't care that he was taking another life, he was keeping his life. I nodded, I understood his resolve. The determination in his eyes, the way he stood, he knew that he had to survive, he had to have a life.I closed my eyes, all my thoughts were racing through my mind, my heart was beating fast. I opened my eyes, I wasn't going to die like this. I wanted to die on my own terms."
The Bellsprout surrounded him, he obviously was a bigger threat to them than I was. I still didn't want to kill anybody, but he had put his life on the line for me, so I decided to do the same. I ran towards the Bellsprout surrounding him, Riolu was watching all of the Bellsprout making sure that he knew which ones were going to attack him first and to cover his blind spots. I bit into one of the Bellsprout that was in his blind spot. The Bellsprout's arm was damaged by the bite. The watery blood leached into my mouth, it tasted horrible. I bit down harder and ripped it's arm off of its body. The watery blood leaked out of the hole where his arm used to be. The Bellsprout screamed out, attracting some attention from its siblings but none of them made a move towards me. The Bellsprout swiped its good arm at me, after the first few wild swipes it cut me under my right eye. It stung but probably didn't feel anything close to what it felt like to have an arm ripped off of your body. The angry Bellsprout sung its arm in front of my mouth, big mistake. I bit down on to its good arm, the Bellsprout attracted some of its siblings attention again by screaming. Only this time one of them decided to try and help their sibling.
I closed my eyes and ripped my teeth through its arm. I knew it had to be painful especially by the way the Bellsprout screamed in agony. I spit out the half of the Bellsprout's arm and the nasty blood was in my mouth again. The armless Bellsprout had probably lost the majority of its blood by now. The armless Bellsprout fell to the ground. I watched it sadly, I felt bad for it. It must be in a lot of pain. The Bellsprout that was going to help its sibling was now cut into pieces by Riolu, it's body fell to the ground 2 feet from its hurting sibling. Both of the Bellsprout bodies had blood pooling underneath them, neither of their bodies moved. The Riolu had patches of Bellsprout blood splattered on his fur, along with some of his own blood mixed in. His claws were dripping with Bellsprout blood, his claws retracted and the Bellsprout blood got onto his paws. He had one cut on his left shin, another in his right knee, one on his left forearm, and another one under his chin. There were a few cuts on his torso as well. I looked around , the Bellsprout's father had disappeared and the rest of the Bellsprout disappeared too. "Where's the father?", I asked while looking at that carnage before us.
There were four dead Bellsprout and the one that Riolu had cut its feet off of was curled up on the ground, still bleeding out. Riolu shrugged, "He must have run off. It's either kill or be killed in this world. If you don't want to die keep moving." I nodded, my heart felt heavy, I didn't like the thought of killing anybody but I didn't like the thought of dying either. "I noticed that.", I mumbled while slowly walking with him to the exit he had come from. I was glad to be able to leave this hellish forest. I was still hungry and now I had blood on my fur. "Thanks for coming to save me.", I mumbled with my ears drooping. He nodded, "You're welcome. I never got your name." We stood at the exit of the forest. This path branched off, the first I've seen in this forest. "My name is Melody." I smiled after I said that. I had a long time to figure out what I wanted my name to be. He nodded, "My name is Miku."I tilted my head. what does his name mean? But whatever the meaning was behind it, I still thought it was pretty. Both of our stomachs growled at us as if saying, "Feed me now." We both laughed at that. "Want something to eat?" My eyes widened then I nodded quickly. "I haven't ate anything since I woke up." He nodded slowly, "Neither have I. Well just follow me, we'll go to my place."
He started to take the right path, which after a few minutes branched off again. This time we took the left path, which after a few minutes lead to another clearing. This clearing wasn't as disorderly as the one I woke up in. There was only one pile of leaves toward the back of the clearing but none of the trees in the clearing looked like they were missing any leaves. He walked over to the pile of leaves and picked it up. They were attached to a blanket somehow. There were handmade stairs that lead underground. The stairs looked to be wood so he must have used some of the resources around here to make them. I had no idea where these stairs would lead to or what they would lead to. Miku's the only Pokémon I can trust right now. He risked his life to save mine of course I would trust him. My ear twitched, a branch had snapped out in the woods, something didn't feel right. "Hold on I can feel someone's aura outside of this clearing.", Miku said just barely above a whisper. The black teardrop things on the side of his head rose and he closed his eyes to concentrate on whatever he was doing. What is an aura? Miku can sense auras?
"They're behind us.", he said quickly while he opened his eyes and the black teardrop things went back to their original position. "You're a smart Pokemon, unlike the Eevee over there.", the biggedr Pokemon that was the father of the Bellsprout that we killed said as he emerged from the shadows of the surrounding trees. Eevee? So I'm an Eevee? Well at least I know what I am now. "Miku you ran through our nest quickly, while she took her time. She has been nothing but extra weight you've had to carry, Miku. Why protect her when you have a difficult enough time protecting yourself? Why not let go of the extra weight that you shouldn't have to carry? We won't have to kill you if you let us take her."
I watched Miku while his eyes narrowed at him. "Victreebel, you brought your remaining children?", Miku asked while looking in the shadows of the woods that surrounded us. Victreebel smiled, "Miku you are smart. Of course I brought them it's not like I would come somewhere by myself. Bellsprout, children, come out from hiding!", Victreebel yelled as the Bellsprout emerged from the shadows. "So Miku, what do you say to our offer? Give us the Eevee and live like you normally do or die protecting a Pokemon you just recently met. Choose your poison.", Victreebel smiled at me as he said that.
Ashuri: Sorry about doing this again. Please read and review. If you don't how would we get any better at writing?
