Chapter 108
[A/N: Things are going to get really messy. Aaah. It almost makes me sad.]
"Immortal?" Lucifer spat, "What is Father thinking?"
"It does not concern you. Please, ignore it, Brother." Gabriel had a hand over Lucifer's shoulder and could feel him shaking beneath it.
Lucifer stared at Gabriel incredulously. What was he supposed to do here? Every fiber of his being wanted to revolt. What was Father doing. Why was he doing all this?
Wasn't everything going well? Then why, why was Father so hell bent on destruction.
"If you do anything that you want to, you'll lose everything in your life, Brother." Gabriel pleaded. His pleads weren't falling on deaf ears it seemed, as Lucifer stopped shaking for a moment.
He watched him carefully. Lucifer had turned to stone it seemed, and Gabriel was just relieved that he had managed to save it all.
"You... How are you so nonchalant about this?" Lucifer's stone-cold voice came out.
"Because I like living here."Gabriel reasoned, "And so do you." He tried to put some sense in him, "So... Stop thinking about earth. It does not concern us."
Lucifer inhaled a sharp breath, and seemed to hold it in for as many seconds as seemed necessary. This was all wrong. Those creatures were murdering the nearby creatures. They used their surroundings in whichever way possible. How more twisted would they become if they were granted immortality.
"There is one more thing I want to say, my children."
