"You are being destructive, my child." Father admonished, "Stop this kind of behavior now, or you'll regret it."
"I won't. But I am pretty sure, that you will." Lucifer bit back, and could see his skin forming scales for war. His armor was coming out front on his body, and he couldn't help the sad feeling that enveloped him. This reaction would never happen if Father wasn't bent on fighting.
He could feel the sting of tears coming into his eyes, and faced Father with determination.
"So, this is what you want me to do, Father?" He shot at him, feeling bitter.
"No. I want you to stop revolting, son. It is impossible for me to live without you." Father's armor was present now as well, and all the others nearby were either shocked still, or weeping.
"I know. But I also know that I wasn't created to bow down to lower beings. None of us were." Lucifer said, and charged ahead with his sword.
Thunders echoed everywhere as soon as the swords clashed, and Gabriel got down to his feet, unable to find the strength to stand.
This was all too hurtful for him to stand by and watch. It just shouldn't have happened.
