Chapter 4
James Pov: It took forever to get Carlos to agree to go on vacation it has been a rough two years. I remember the day that Carlos got the news that Alan had gone missing the phone had rung and it was Barry.
Flashback Two Years: It is 9:00pm a man sits in his study a type writer sits on the desk in front of him he looks up from his work looking out the window he sees it is raining and it is raining hard. The phone rings and a woman comes in and says Carlos the phone is for you.
Carlos Pov: Thanks Alexa as I took the phone from Alexa I noticed the worryness on her face. She always tried to hide when she was worried but I always knew when she was worried. I put the phone to my ear and said hello who is this it was Barry.
Barry's Pov: It had been a crazy roller coaster ride over the past week and now Alan was missing along with his wife and now I had to do something that I never wanted to do I now had to call Carlos and tell him his cousin was missing. I dialed his number my heart beat rapidly as I heard the phone ring and then a woman's voice answered it was Alexa. Hello Alexa is Carlos home I need to talk to him.
Carlos Pov: My heart sank when I heard Barry tell me that Alan and his wife had gone missing I sat at my desk quiet for a while after I hung up with Barry then my wife asked me what was wrong and I told her that my cousin and his wife had gone missing.
Present Day
James Pov: That was the day I had got the call that was the day Carlos's world had come crashing down from that day on Carlos couldn't write but I think it was more than that. I believe he didn't want to write who could blame him he had lost his cousin. Alan was Carlos's role model the one who had got him interested in writing. Alan had always supported him in his writing even though Carlos's parents didn't. Finally after two years of sleepless nights, two years of waking up because of nightmares and two years of Alexa calling me I had come up with the idea that it was time for a vacation.
