I regretfully write this to inform you that I am quitting my short but worthwhile time at Northern Goods and Trade. Though my pleasant time as an employee gave me sufficient sums, I have found new doors and new opportunities and I have decided to seek them out.

I sincerely hope you and your daughter find good fortune, and I hope you pray for mine.
