Chapter 257
Wesley waited for his old friend Laurie. Laurie was a hunter like him. After Wesley had been ex-communicated by the Watcher's council he became a rogue demon hunter. He traveled the world fighting demons. During this time he'd met Laurie, they'd worked together a few times. During one of Laurie's battles she fought a banshee demon with other hunters. When one gave the banshee the death blow it let out a terrible shriek. Laurie was far enough away to survive, but she lost her hearing. She was the only survivor from her team. But Laurie remained a hunter, though she had to adapt. Wesley contacted her now because he hoped she might have information about the Master. Even if she didn't, this town was shaping up for one hell of a battle. They would need everyone they could get.
