About five minutes later the cops walked in.

"Drop the weapon and the money dirt bag." A cop said sternly as he pulled out his gun.

"Oh...man...You've gotta be kidding me..." The guy said nervously as he dropped his gun and the bag of money on the ground.

Ricky's eyes widened as another cop put handcuffs on the guy's hands and Ethan got up from under the table.

"You are under arrest...Anything you saw can will be used against you..." The cop trailed off as he walked outside with the guy.

"All right sir...You're gonna have to tell me what happened...Did you know that guy?" The cop asked firmly.

"Um...It's Ricky...officer...How did you know that we were being robbed?" Ricky asked surprised.

"We got a call from 911...So, Ricky...Do you know that guy?" The officer asked seriously.

"All right...I don't know his name but the other day I saw him beating up another guy outside of the butcher shop...He wanted to get money to bail his relative out of jail...I'm guessing that's why he tried to steal money from here..." Ricky said honestly.

"Ok...We'll figure out his name...That shouldn't be a problem...Who was the guy that he was beating up?" The cop asked as he wrote down what Ricky told him on a note pad.

"His name is Peter and he works at the car shop across the street...You can ask him some questions about the guy...He probably knows more than I do." Ricky said worried.

"Thank you...I'll keep that in mind...And did he fire his gun at all?" The officer asked concerned.

"No sir...He just aimed his gun at me and Ethan..." Ricky said sternly.

"Yeah...It scared the crap out of me..." Ethan said seriously.

"There's no need to be scared now...We'll get this guy taken care of...And we'll take a look at the security footage tomorrow...Can I have the owner's number please?" The cop asked nicely.

"Of course...Here's his business card." Ricky said kindly as he pulled out Leo's business card from a drawer.

"Thank you very much Ricky...I'm sorry that this happened..." The cop said sincerely.

"Yeah...And thanks for helping us...Uh...do you know who called 911? Cause it wasn't me or Ethan..." Ricky said confused.

"No I don't...They didn't have time to tell us that...I'm sure whoever did, will let you know." The cop said nicely and he left the butcher shop.

"It was me...Ricky..." Grace said from behind Ricky and Ethan.

"Grace? Oh thank you! I thought he was gonna shoot me or Ethan!" Ricky said worried as he walked over to Grace and gave her a hug.

"I know...That's why I called 911 as soon as I saw you putting money in the bag...Thank God you two are all right." Grace said sweetly and relieved.

"How did you see us without the guy seeing you?" Ethan asked concerned.

"I was on the stairs...And the guy was watching Ricky put money in the bag...I tried to be quiet so he wouldn't hear me." Grace said honestly as she let go of Ricky.

"Well, you did a very great job...Where's John?" Ricky said as he smiled slowly.

"He's taking a nap...I think he's a little jet lagged still...I actually need to get ready before I go home in about an hour." Grace said nicely.

"All right...I wonder if Leo would mind if we closed early...Especially since a crime just happened...Or it almost did..." Ricky said seriously.

"I don't know...You should ask him...And where's Joe at?" Ethan asked confused.

"He doesn't have to work on the weekends...I'll give him a call...And then I can join you for dinner." Ricky said sternly and then happily as he looked at Ethan and then Grace.

"Mmm...I would like that...I just don't know how well you'll like Jeff...and his fiance..." Grace said kindly and then concerned.

"Who's Jeff?" Ethan asked intrigued as Ricky went in another room to call Leo.

"One of my Mom's ex husbands...He's going to live here again and she wanted to have him over for dinner...You're welcome to come too...If you want, Ethan." Grace said sweetly.

"Thanks Grace...but I think that would be kind of awkward since I don't really know your family...I have a project to do anyway..." Ethan said sadly.

"But you played the organ at our church...Oh...wait...That was kind of a disaster..." Grace said awkwardly.

"Yeah...I got fired from doing that cause I played take me out to the ball game...Heh...And I also want to see Kathy..." Ethan said seriously.

"It's ok...I think everyone enjoyed your playing...Heh...Isn't Kathy with..." Grace said nicely and then concerned.

"She's with this other guy but...I think we need to talk..." Ethan said honestly.

"Oh...Well, I'm sure you two will work things out..." Grace said happily.

"How do you know? All of your relationships didn't work out..." Ethan said sternly.

"I meant that maybe you two can work on being friends since she's with someone else...And how do you know anything about my past relationships?" Grace asked seriously.

"Yeah...We'll see...I still love her...I don't know anything about your past relationships actually but...you're with Ricky...That's saying something cause he's not one of the easiest going guys..." Ethan said honestly.

"Look, Ethan...Sometimes loving someone doesn't always go how you think it will...I've learned that over and over again...And you're right about Ricky but he's really trying hard to change more than he already has." Grace said sincerely.

"Thanks Grace...Now I know why Ricky fell for you...You're really kind and smart...and pretty..." Ethan said as he smiled slowly.

"Heh...No problem...You're a great kid and I'm always happy to help..." Grace said sweetly as she smiled.

"All right...Leo said we can close...He thought it would be best to so the cops will have an easier time watching the security cameras when they look at them tomorrow...We usually don't get many customers on Saturday nights anyway..." Ricky said seriously as he walked by Grace and Ethan.

"That's nice of him...I'll see ya tomorrow Ricky...I hope you two have a great night." Ethan said nicely as he put his apron on a hook.

"Yeah...He said we have to mop the floor but...I can just do that..." Ricky said a little irritated as Ethan walked out the door.

"Heh...I guess you lost that one..." Grace said as she grinned.

"Heh...Yeah I did...You want to help me mop the floor? I promise it will take like ten minutes." Ricky said as he smiled.

"Hmm...That depends..." Grace said nicely.

"That depends on what?" Ricky asked confused.

"If I get a reward afterwards..." Grace said sweetly as she put her arms around Ricky's neck.

"Ha ha...Very funny...You are such a tease..." Ricky said happily and he gave Grace a short kiss.

"Mmm...So are you...Where are the mops?" Grace said as she let go of Ricky.

"Right over here..." Ricky said as he walked over to the mops.

Meanwhile at Ben's house...

"Thank you for the snacks Mr. Boykevich." Amy said nicely as she stood up from the table.

"No problem..." Leo said seriously.

"Is there something wrong Dad?" Ben asked concerned.

"I just talked to Ricky and the butcher shop almost got robbed...Thankfully, Grace called 911 and the cops arrested the guy who tried to steal money from the cash register." Leo said sternly.

"Oh no! Are they all right? Is John ok?" Amy asked shocked.

"Everyone is fine Amy...Nobody got shot even though the guy pulled out a gun..." Leo said sadly.

"Wow...That's really crazy...I guess the cops will take a look at the cameras..." Ben said seriously.

"Yeah...Tomorrow...I just can't believe this happened...Or almost happened...I could have lost over a thousand dollars in cash..." Leo said honestly.

"Uh...That's not that much money to you...Dad..." Ben said awkwardly.

"I know son but about half the money that I make from my company goes towards your college tuition..." Leo said firmly.

"Oh...I didn't know...I'm sorry...At least I get a scholarship too..." Ben said sincerely.

"That helps a lot...And I hope you don't lose it..." Leo said seriously.

"Don't worry Mr. Boykevich...Ben and I have been studying really hard...We're not going to lose our scholarships...Right Ben?" Amy said sweetly.

"Yeah...We have...I promise I'm not gonna let you down Dad." Ben said confidently.

"That's what I like to hear...Did you...stop taking your pills?" Leo asked concerned.

"Yes I did...I don't need them...for now..." Ben said honestly.

"For now? I thought you weren't going to take them ever again." Amy said a little irritated.

"Hopefully I won't have to take them again but...you never know, Amy..." Ben said concerned.

"Um...I think that you should give them to me...So you aren't tempted to take them." Leo said seriously.

"I don't have any of them with me...I have one bottle of them in New York..." Ben said sternly.

"All right...When you go back, I want you to throw them away. I'm not buying you anymore. Especially since you've calmed down since you and Adrian..." Leo said sadly.

"But...what if something like that happens again, Dad?" Ben said worried.

"Something like what, Ben? Are you afraid that if Omar and Adrian lose their baby, then you'll go into another depression?" Amy asked firmly.

"No...It's not that...I'm afraid I will if...you leave me again..." Ben said awkwardly.

"Oh, geeze...I'm not going to leave you again...I promise." Amy said honestly as she hugged Ben.

"I sure hope so Amy...I love you..." Ben said nicely as he rubbed Amy's back.

"Love you too..." Amy said sweetly and she let go of Ben.

"All right Romeo and Juliet...I think Camille and I are going to go to the movies...She should be back soon from grocery shopping...And Ben, you promise that you'll throw away the pills?" Leo said happily.

"I promise Dad...See ya later..." Ben said kindly.

"Good...You can have anything you want for dinner or go out...It doesn't matter...And here's a card for your family, Amy...I know it's hard seeing a loved one die...Camille and I would see Mimsy but we didn't know her so..." Leo said kindly as he gave Amy a card.

"Oh...Thank you sir...I totally understand...I don't even know if she's still alive right now...And I'm sure my parents will invite you two to the...funeral..." Amy said as her eyes got watery.

"Yeah...And if you or you family need anything, just let me know...I'm not very good with death since I lost...my first wife..." Leo said sadly as he walked out of the dining room.

"I'm so sorry, Amy..." Ben said nicely as he gave Amy a hug.

"I know you are, Ben...And thank you for coming here with me..." Amy said honestly through her tears.

"Of course...I would go anywhere with you..." Ben said sincerely as he rubbed Amy's back. A few minutes later Amy's phone rang.

"Hello?" Amy asked as she wiped her eyes.

"Hey Ames...I got some sad news for ya...Mimsy..." George said sadly.

"She's...gone..." Amy said as she continued to cry.

"Yeah...She passed away about an hour ago, kiddo...Your mom and Ashley were there with Robbie...I just wanted to let you know..." George said concerned.

"Aww, Dad...I can't believe this...You know...if it wasn't for Mimsy...I wouldn't even have John..." Amy said through her tears and then she smiled slowly.

"I know...I'm sure going to miss her..." George said kindly as he wiped his eyes.

"Me too...Thanks for letting me know...I love you..." Amy said as she wiped her face.

"Love you too, Amy...I'm going over to your mother's later if you want to go with Ben...I'm going to have dinner with Kathleen first...She wants to meet Jeff's fiance..." George said honestly.

"Oh...We can go to Mom's now...Who's Jeff?" Amy asked confused.

"Her ex husband...I don't care when you go to your mom's but...she might want some time to grieve alone...Ashley and Robbie are there too but..." George said concerned.

"I know what you mean...We'll just go over there after dinner then...I'm sure Ashley isn't having a hard time with this..." Amy said seriously.

"Yeah...I don't know...She loved Mimsy too...I gotta go so...See ya later..." George said nicely and he hung up.

"So...Mimsy's gone..." Ben said sadly as he sat next to Amy.

"She is...It feels like just yesterday when my family and I went over to her house for Christmas and we baked cookies and opened presents...It's crazy how fast time flies by..." Amy said in a depressed tone as she moved her hair out of her face.

"Heh...It sure is...At least you'll always have good memories of her..." Ben said kindly.

"True...She always was a really sweet grandma...And you don't mind going over to my Mom's later?" Amy asked worried.

"Of course not...I'm here to help you grieve in whatever way you need to." Ben said sweetly.

"Thanks Ben...You're the best..." Amy said as she smiled slowly and she gave Ben a short kiss.

Meanwhile in New York...

"We finally made it...This place is really nice." Adrian said surprised as she and Omar walked in the restaurant.

"Yeah it is...So...Shawna just sent me a text and she said...they're in the back right..." Omar said as they walked towards the back of the large Japanese steak house.

"All right...Where are...What the?" Adrian's eyes widened as she stopped a few feet in front of their table.

"Hey Omar!" Shawna said excited as they walked over to the table.

"Hello Shawna...Uh...what is he doing here?" Omar asked surprised.

"Yeah...I'm confused..." Adrian said as she and Omar sat down.

"So am I...What are you two doing here?" Max asked shocked.

"Uh...You three know each other?" Shawna asked seriously.

"Yes we do...I didn't know that you knew them, babe." Max said honestly as he looked at Shawna.

"Oh...That makes this a little less awkward then...Heh...I just know Omar...and you must be Adrian..." Shawna said nervously and then nicely as she put her hand out.

"Heh...Or a whole lot more awkward...Yes I am...And you're Shawna..." Adrian said quietly to Omar and then she smiled as she shook Shawna's hand.

"So...How do you two know Max?" Shawna asked intrigued as she and Adrian sat down.

"Uh...He paid a guy to key my car...after he tried to..." Omar said seriously.

"Let's not...Omar..." Max said awkwardly.

"You did what?" Shawna asked confused.

"He's the guy that I was telling you about...last night..." Omar said honestly.

"Oh...Oh wow! So you slept with...Adrian? At the...baby shower...and you tried to...sleep with her recently?" Shawna said shocked as she looked at Max.

"Yes I did...It was a huge mistake...And we made up... How do you know about the baby shower?" Max asked concerned.

"Obviously...I was at the baby shower actually...But I never met you or Adrian there cause...you two were..." Shawna said awkwardly.

"Yeah...That's my fault...I'm really sorry about that Shawna...But you don't have to worry about it happening ever again...Wait a minute, didn't you go out with Jack? I think I remember Grace telling me about you..." Adrian said nicely and then suspiciously.

"Don't worry about it, Adrian...That happened a long time ago...I did go out with Jack...He was too young for me though..." Shawna said seriously.

"All right...So where's the waiter at?" Omar said uncomfortably.

"Oh...There's not a waiter...There's a chef and he makes what you tell him on this stove...It's also a table..." Shawna said smiling.

"Wow...That's really cool..." Omar said amused.

"Yeah, man...It's really awesome...So you went to high school with Shawna?" Max asked nicely.

"I did...We had some good times..." Omar said happily.

A few minutes later the chef walked over to their table with a rolling table with ingredients on it. He took everyone's orders and he started to make their food. Everyone watched in amazement as he did fancy tricks while he cooked their food.

"All right...I hope you all enjoy! I will be back later with the check." The waiter said kindly and he left their table.

"This food is delicious. Thanks for inviting us here, Shawna." Adrian said nicely.

"No problem...I thought you would like it." Shawna said as she smiled.

"Yeah...So how long have you two been together?" Adrian asked intrigued.

"For about a month...We met at the park..." Shawna said sweetly.

"It was really nice...I was running and Shawna was doing a yoga thing...And we started talking." Max said happily.

"That's awesome! You guys make a really great couple." Omar said nicely.

"Aww! Thanks Omar. You two do too." Shawna said smiling.

"No problem...And we're really happy to be together..." Omar said as he grinned while he looked at Adrian.

"Yeah...We're excited to have our first child too...Hopefully you two are using protection..." Adrian said smiling and then concerned.

"Oh...Yeah...We're totally good with that...Ha ha..." Shawna said awkwardly.

"All right...Just making sure...Sometimes it doesn't always work..." Adrian said sadly.

"Uh...Is that what happened with..." Max said nervously.

"Yes...Something went wrong with my birth control pill...It's all right cause we are excited to be parents." Adrian said honestly.

"We sure are...Even if we're going to be them a little sooner than we originally planned." Omar said confidently.

"That's really great. I'm really happy for you both." Shawna said sweetly.

Meanwhile at Grace's house...

"We're so glad that you could join us Ricky...And I'm sorry about the butcher shop..." Kathleen said nicely as she set the table.

"Yeah...I'm just glad that Grace called the cops before the guy got away with the money...It was pretty scary." Ricky said seriously as he sat down.

"I bet...I almost got robbed once at the furniture store...Fortunately there was an undercover cop there who arrested the guy right away." George said calmly as he sat down.

"Wow...That's really lucky..." Ricky said surprised.

"No kidding...So where's Jeff and Nancy?" George asked nicely as Kathleen sat down at the table with Grace and Tom.

A few minutes later the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it." George said as he got up and answered the door.

"Hello George! It's nice to see you again. This is Nancy." Jeff said nicely.

"It's a pleasure to meet you. You're Kathleen's husband?" Nancy said sweetly as she shook George's hand.

"You too...Come on in." George said smiling and he closed the door as Jeff and Nancy walked in.

They sat at the table and smiled as everyone else watched them.

"Hello...Kathleen, Grace, Tom, and...Ricky right?" Jeff said nicely as he looked at everyone while he said their names.

"Yes sir...You must be Jeff." Ricky said kindly as he shook Jeff's hand.

"I am...It's nice to meet you and this my lovely fiance...Nancy." Jeff said happily.

"It's a pleasure to meet all of you..." Nancy said smiling.

"You too Nancy...Everyone help yourselves..." Kathleen said sweetly as she started to put salad on her plate.

"Um...Mom...What about...the prayer..." Grace said awkwardly.

"Oh...I'm sorry honey...I forgot...Grace likes to say a prayer before dinner when she's home." Kathleen said nicely as she looked at Grace and then Nancy.

"No...It's ok...Go ahead Grace." Nancy said as she smiled.

"Thank you...Dear God...I want to thank You for this great food and these amazing people...Thank you for great family and friends...And thank you for love...I also hope that You are helping Amy's family...Amen." Grace said sweetly after she bowed her head and closed her eyes.

"That was great Grace...What's going on with Amy's family?" Jeff asked concerned.

"Uh...She's my daughter and...My ex wife's mother has been in the hospital..." George said sadly.

"Oh wow...I am so sorry to hear that...Is she all right?" Nancy asked sincerely.

"Thanks Nancy...We call her Mimsy and she...actually didn't make it..." George said honestly.

"What? Mimsy died?" Ricky said shocked as he stopped putting salad on his plate.

"Yeah...Earlier this afternoon...I'm going to see Anne later..." George said seriously.

"Oh, George...I am so sorry dear..." Kathleen said sadly.

Grace and Tom looked at George while they frowned and their eyes became a little watery.

"That's really tough...If you guys need anything, we can help out..." Jeff said kindly.

"Thank you, Jeff...But I think we'll be all right...I don't mean to ruin everyone's dinner..." George said nicely.

"Does Amy know?" Ricky asked worried.

"Of course she does. I told her earlier..." George said sincerely.

"Um...Do you think we should see her later?" Grace asked sweetly.

"If you want but...I think she just wants to spend time with me, Anne, Ashley, and Ben later..." George said honestly.

"I can go with you too..." Kathleen said nicely.

"Thanks Kathleen...I would appreciate that..." George said as he smiled.

"No problem George...So how did you two meet?" Kathleen asked awkwardly as she looked at George and then at Nancy and Jeff.

"We met in Africa actually...Nancy is a nurse." Jeff said kindly.

"Yes...I love it." Nancy said sweetly.

"Oh...That's really nice..." Kathleen said smiling.

Ugh...Why does Mom always do this? And Mimsy died? Shouldn't we all go over to Anne's house? Grace thought to herself as she sighed and rolled her eyes.

"Yeah...So when did you two get re-married?" Nancy asked intrigued.

"This past spring...We didn't have a big wedding cause we did the first time. It was really great though..." Kathleen said happily.

"Good for you two...And I'm guessing that Grace is with...Ricky, right?" Nancy asked awkwardly.

"Yes I am, Nancy...We're very happy together." Grace said sweetly as she looked at Nancy and then Ricky after eating some of her pasta.

"And Tom?" Nancy asked concerned as she looked at Tom.

"I...am...with...Tammy but...she had to work..." Tom said kindly.

"Oh...Good for you, buddy." Nancy said smiling.

"Heh...I'm not...your...buddy...all right?" Tom said sternly.

"Tom...Be nice..." Kathleen said seriously as she looked at Tom.

A couple hours later Jeff and Nancy left and Kathleen and George went to Anne's house.

"Do you think we should go too?" Ricky asked concerned.

"I don't know...George didn't say that we had to go...I think my Mom's going to invite them to church tomorrow so...we can see them then." Grace said honestly.

"Oh yeah...I'm sure Amy would rather be with her family now anyway...And you said that you wanted to go out tonight...Right?" Ricky asked nicely.

"I did but...it would be kind of weird especially since Amy just lost...Mimsy..." Grace said sadly.

"Uh...Not really...We didn't even know her...Or we could hang out here. I do like your house." Ricky said kindly.

"Heh...Thanks but...it's never been the same...Especially after I lost my Dad..." Grace said in a depressed tone.

"I know...but everything is going to be all right Grace." Ricky said confidently as he hugged Grace.

"Hey...Ricky...Can I...talk to...you..." Tom said as he walked into the kitchen.

"Of course Tom...What's up?" Ricky said seriously as he let go of Grace.

"Don't...hurt...Grace...Ok?" Tom said sternly. Grace smiled at him and Ricky had a worried look on his face.

"Uh...Ok...I won't..." Ricky said nervously.

"You better not...Or I'll kick your...ass..." Tom said firmly and then he went outside to the guest house.

"Ha ha ha...He's so funny..." Grace laughed as she looked at Ricky.

"What? Was he being serious?" Ricky asked confused.

"Yeah...That's as serious as Tom gets...He sent me a video that he filmed with his hidden camera before I slept with Jack...He doesn't want you to hurt me like how Jack did." Grace said honestly.

"Oh...Well, he won't have to worry about that...Do you want to go upstairs?" Ricky asked nicely.

"Heh...Yeah I would but...What about John?" Grace asked worried.

"My parents said I can pick him up whenever...Let's go." Ricky said kindly as he grabbed Grace's hand and they walked upstairs to her room.

"So...This is my room...I don't think you've ever been in it..." Grace said smiling as she shut the door.

"Yeah...It's really...girly...but cute I guess..." Ricky said seriously as he looked around her room.

"I know...My Dad picked out the colors for it and my Mom decorated it...It will always be really special to me...And it's also where I first..." Grace said happily and then sadly.

"Hey...Whatever you did with Jack and other guys in here, I don't need to know about it. I was thinking we could do a little bit of this." Ricky said honestly as he sat next to Grace on her bed and then he put one of his hands on her face and he slowly started to kiss her. Grace leaned in closer to Ricky as he kept kissing her and she put her hands on Ricky's neck.

"Mmm...I really like how you kiss me..." Grace said a little out of breath.

"Heh...And I really like how you kiss me..." Ricky said as he smirked and then he kissed Grace again.

A few minutes later Grace's phone rang.

"Ugh...I wonder who that could be..." Grace said a little irritated as she let go of Ricky and then she pulled her phone out of her pocket and answered it.

"Hello Grace...This is Reverend Stone...I wanted to let you know that...Jack got hurt..." Reverend Stone said seriously.

Oh no! What happened to Jack? At least Griffin's relative didn't rob the butcher shop. Is Ethan going to try and get back with Kathy? Will Ben throw away his pills when he goes back to New York with Amy? I know this one was also a tear jerker with Mimsy dying but...it was just her time...How is Ben and Amy's family going to help her get through this? And will Max stay with Shawna? At least they got along well with Omar and Adrian. They also sound happier about becoming parents. I thought it would be cute to have Tom being protective of Grace too. Ha ha! What's going to happen at church with everyone too? Stay tuned to find out! Let me know what you think! Kathy and Chase will be back in the next chapter too! :)
