"What do you mean Jack's hurt?" Grace asked worried. Ricky's eyes widened as he looked at her.

"He's...in the hospital getting surgery...He got hurt during his last wrestling match...The other guy threw him on the mat pretty hard and he passed out..." Reverend Stone said sadly.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! Why is he getting surgery?" Grace asked shocked.

"One of his bones in his lower back got fractured...The doctors are fixing it...If it had gotten broken...Jack may have never been able to walk again..." Reverend Stone said seriously.

"Yeah...That's really terrible...Do you want Ricky and I to come to the hospital?" Grace asked honestly.

"Um...We're in a hospital in San Diego, Grace..." Reverend Stone said concerned.

"Oh...I didn't know...I'll be praying for Jack..." Grace said sweetly.

"It's ok...And thank you...You know...Jack's told me that Ricky wants to get baptized...I would be honored to baptize him...if that's what he wants..." Reverend Stone said kindly.

"You're welcome...Um...Shouldn't he do a class first?" Grace asked worried.

"That's probably not a bad idea...We can talk about it more at church next weekend...Obviously I'm not going to be there tomorrow cause Jack is in the hospital...I hope you have a nice night, Grace." Reverend Stone said nicely.

"Thanks Reverend Stone...but...I don't know if you heard...Amy's grandma passed away earlier today...She was...Anne's mother..." Grace said sadly.

"Oh...No, I haven't heard...I'm sorry to hear that...I defiantly will be praying for the Jergens...Good night." Reverend Stone said concerned and then kindly.

"Me too...Good night sir..." Grace said sweetly and she hung up.

"What's going on with Jack?" Ricky asked surprised.

"He got hurt during a wrestling match...I can't believe this...He never got badly hurt during football..." Grace said sadly.

"Oh man...This weekend has just been horrible...First Mimsy died and now Jack..." Ricky said in a depressed tone as he gave Grace a side hug.

"Yeah...but at least Jack's not dying...He's just getting surgery...Hopefully he won't go into a coma this time..." Grace said as she leaned her head on Ricky's shoulder and her eyes got watery.

"True...But how can you get hurt that badly in wrestling? Especially since you usually wrestle on a mat..." Ricky said concerned as he rubbed Grace's back.

"I really don't know...Reverend Stone said that the other guy threw him really hard..." Grace said as she started to cry.

"I'm so sorry Grace...I'm sure Jack will be all right...I hope he is..." Ricky said honestly as his eyes got watery.

"Me too...I know that I haven't been very nice to him lately but...I still care about him..." Grace said sincerely as she wiped her face.

"I know you do...He will always be our friend even though he has...tried to split us up..." Ricky said seriously.

"Yeah...And I really am sorry for almost kissing him...I'm defiantly not going to let anything like that happen again." Grace said honestly as she looked deeply into Ricky's eyes.

"Hey...I forgave you so you don't have to worry about it...I love you..." Ricky said kindly and he gave Grace a hug.

"I love you too...Thank you for being here..." Grace said sweetly.

"I'll always be here for you, Grace..." Ricky said sincerely as he rubbed Grace's back.

A few minutes later Ricky's phone rang and he let go of Grace as he pulled his phone out of his pocket.

"What?" Ricky said a little irritated.

"Uh...Is that a nice way to answer your phone?" Adrian asked sarcastically.

"I'm sorry Adrian...Grace and I have been having a rough night...Mimsy died and...Jack's in the hospital..." Ricky said seriously.

"Oh...I'm really sorry to hear that...I'll have to give Amy a call...Why is Jack in the hospital?" Adrian said sadly.

"He got hurt at a wrestling match...Hopefully he'll be alright...Why did you call me?" Ricky said confused.

"That's really tough...I called because Omar and I coming to California on Tuesday for Thanksgiving...We're going to Ben's for dinner...And we had a really nice time with Shawna and Max." Adrian said sincerely and then happily.

"Ugh...Just get to the point, Adrian...That's great that you're coming here for Thanksgiving...And who is Shawna and Max?" Ricky said a little annoyed.

"Oh, right...I forgot that I'm talking to you and not Grace...Shawna went out with Jack awhile ago and Max was my...step brother...But the point is...I wanted to apologize for telling you about...Grace asking me about...sex with you..." Adrian said a little irritated and then awkwardly.

"You don't have to apologize for that...I'm glad that you told me...And Grace and I talked about it and...we're fine." Ricky said seriously. Grace rolled her eyes and she took Ricky's phone and walked out of her room.

"What the? Grace!" Ricky said shocked as he stood up and then he grabbed Grace's phone.

"Why are you apologizing to Ricky? You did nothing wrong, Adrian...And I thought you weren't going to tell him what we talked about...He yelled at me this morning, because of you...We made up but...still...Now he thinks that I don't respect him." Grace said stubbornly as she walked into the kitchen.

"Um...And how is that my problem? You started this entire thing, not me...You asked me about Ricky in bed...And I'm not surprised that he thinks that because...I thought you were trying to be a Christian again...How could you do that if you go around asking people about what sex is like with guys? I bet you asked Amy too, didn't you?" Adrian said angrily.

"Ugh...Just because I asked you doesn't mean that...you had to tell me...I almost...asked Amy...I know it was really shallow of me...and I won't do it again...I've always been a Christian but...I just have messed up...Everyone does, Adrian...At least I haven't jumped into bed with Ricky right away..." Grace said a little irritated.

"Oh...You mean like I did? We didn't know what the hell we were doing back then, Grace. And you better not be implying that I'm holier than you nonsense. As far as I'm concerned, you're just as guilty as I am for wanting to sleep with Ricky before you're ready." Adrian said honestly.

"I'm not saying that at all! I'm sorry for yelling at you...And we really are going to wait..." Grace said calmly.

"Yeah...We'll see...Where did Ricky go?" Adrian asked concerned.

Ricky walked behind Grace and he took his phone out of her hand and gave Grace her phone.

"Good night Adrian...We'll see you next week." Ricky said nicely and he hung up.

"Uh...Did you hear our entire conversation?" Grace asked surprised.

"No...And I don't blame you for being mad with Adrian but...you shouldn't have asked her about...us in bed..." Ricky said sternly.

"Yeah I know...And I promise the only way that I will know what you're like in bed is when we do have sex." Grace said honestly as she put her arms around Ricky's neck.

"Oh...Really? Then how about you find that out right now..." Ricky smirked as he licked his lips.

"Ricky! Seriously?" Grace said shocked.

"I'm joking...Heh heh...We should probably get John since it's getting late." Ricky said nicely.

"Ha ha...You're so funny...You know, Reverend Stone said he would like to baptize you." Grace said sweetly.

"I know...I would like him to baptize me too...And I could...baptize your mouth..." Ricky said kindly and then seductively as he moved his face close to Grace's. He gave her a slow and long kiss.

"Mmm...That was an...interesting choice of words...And it...kind of turned me on..." Grace said as she smiled slowly.

"Heh...Yeah...Somehow I always manage to...do that...But we should go..." Ricky said smiling.

"I know...Just let me kiss you..." Grace said sweetly as she pulled Ricky close to her and gave him a long and passionate kiss.

"Wow...That was...really good...You've improved a lot since the first time I kissed you...I can't imagine how our..." Ricky said pleasantly surprised.

"Thank you...You have too...And you can't imagine how our what will be?" Grace said nicely and then suspiciously.

"Uh...It's nothing...Let's go." Ricky said awkwardly and he grabbed Grace's hand and they walked out the door.

Meanwhile at Anne's house...

George, Kathleen, and Anne were talking in the living room while Amy, Ashley, and Ben were in Amy's room.

"God...I just can't believe she's gone..." Ashley said sadly.

"Me too...She was such a good grandma..." Amy said as she wiped her eyes from crying.

"I know this a hard time for you girls...You're sure that you don't need anything?" Ben asked nicely.

"Ben, you've asked us that like a thousand times already...We're fine..." Amy said seriously.

"All right...Well, I'm going to get some water..." Ben said as he walked out of the room.

"Ok...Why are you back with Ben again? He's kind of a tool." Ashley said honestly.

"Don't start Ashley...This day has been bad enough already...And I love Ben...I've always loved him...I just used Ricky to fill the pain after Ben slept with...Adrian..." Amy said a little irritated and then seriously.

"Oh...Did you? Because as I recall, you actually fell in love with Ricky and wanted to marry him...You even pretended to be married to him...You didn't care about Ben when you were with Ricky." Ashley said cruelly.

"Shut up Ashley! My relationship with Ricky was a lie...We never really loved each other...Sure, I may have thought I was in love with him...but he was never in love with me...And...I'm afraid he's going to do the same thing to Grace...Cause that's how he's always been...He makes you think that he loves you when...all he really wants is sex to help fill the emptiness he still has from his terrible child hood. And I know we had John together and we both love him very much but...John didn't help our relationship...He made it more complicated...And I've always cared about Ben...Some days I did more than others over the past few years but I know that he is the guy for me." Amy explained honestly.

"All right...I'm sorry Amy...Geeze...I didn't mean to hurt you...I love you..." Ashley said nicely as she gave Amy a hug.

"I love you too...I know you don't always mean everything you say..." Amy said calmly as she rubbed Ashley's back.

A few minutes later Kathy and Chase walked into Amy's room.

"Hey Amy...Ben actually gave me a call and told me that...you lost your grandma..." Kathy said nicely.

"Uh...What are you doing here?" Amy asked surprised.

"I thought that I should apologize...for what I said to you yesterday...I'm really sorry..." Kathy said sincerely.

"Oh...No, it's ok...I have tough skin and I know that you didn't mean what you said about Ricky and me..." Amy said nicely.

"What did you say about her and Ricky?" Ashley asked intrigued.

"Um...I probably shouldn't repeat it...And this is Chase." Kathy said awkwardly and then happily as she looked at Ashley and then Chase.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Amy...Kathy's told me a lot about you and...I'm sorry about your grandma." Chase said nicely as he shook Amy's hand.

"It's nice to meet you too, Chase...And thanks...You can help yourself to snacks in the kitchen...If you want..." Amy said sweetly.

"All right...Don't mind if I do...I think Ben's still in there..." Chase said nicely and he walked out of the room.

"So...How did you meet him?" Ashley asked intrigued as she looked at Kathy.

"At school...He transferred from a charter school..." Kathy said kindly.

"Oh...Well, I'm sure you two would like to talk so I'm going to get some snacks and go to bed." Ashley said awkwardly as she walked out of Amy's room.

"So...That's Chase, huh? He is cute." Amy said as she smiled slowly.

"See? I told you that he was." Kathy smirked as she sat next to Amy on her bed.

"Yeah but...I really hope that you're careful, Kathy...I don't mean just physically but...emotionally too..." Amy said concerned.

"What do you mean? We're not like...in love or something already...if that's what you mean." Kathy said seriously.

"I meant...Don't change who you are just for some guy...My friends have done that before and...I did too...That's kind of how I ended up with John...Heh...It's crazy how one decision can change the rest of your life..." Amy said honestly.

"No kidding...I really wish that I could take back that night when I slept with Don...On the bright side, two parents finally got a child...And...I want you to know Amy that...I do look up to you...I've never had an older sister and...you are like one to me. I truly am sorry for all the terrible things that I said to you." Kathy said sincerely.

"Well...you can't take it back...No matter how bad you want to...Thanks for looking up to me Kathy...I've always wanted to inspire girls to believe in themselves...That's why I want to be a teacher...So I can help kids to know that they can do anything that they set their minds too...And they should have no excuse to because...I had a baby in high school and...I've made it this far...My first semester of college is almost over..." Amy said nicely.

"You're welcome...And I think you'll be a great teacher someday...I'm also proud of you for taking care of John. It's not easy being a teenage mother." Kathy said sweetly as she gave Amy a hug.

"Thanks Kathy...I'm proud of you too for doing what you thought was best for Hedy." Amy said kindly as she let go of Kathy.

Another chapter down, 46 more to go. If you didn't know this story is going to be 100 chapters so of course there will be a lot more drama and romance to come! Ha ha! I hope you enjoyed it!
