I do not own naruto anime, manga or other released formats.

Naruto walk up bright and early the next day, he was sure that his beloved could very well wanted to add a new member to their happy growing family. He wished he was as well rested as his beloved Mikoto. But having a person interrupt your sleep, whispering in his mind, things that would make most kunoichi blush from sheer embarrassment was not something that helped him sleep. It did not help that Kurama could send some rather detail images involving him and a big breasted red head, doing things that he tried very hard to forget or at least not cause him another nosebleed.

He turned as kissed his beloved on her lips, and she woke in her favorite way. With her husband close, and doing something so sweet and tender just as she woke up. He helped her get into her clothes, not that she needed help, but she did want to be touched and held by her husband for a little while longer. He did the thing most husbands would have to be bribed to do. He prepared breakfast for the entire family. He cooked all their favorites. Itachi joked by asking what was the special occasion. Sasuke was busy trying to remember what was so special about today.

As Naruto left towards the tower, he saw something that would forever cause him concern. Kushina was hitting a rug with a wooden paddle. He knew that she was simply trying to clean it, but the way he looked, and the look on her face made him flinch every time he heard the sound of the rug being hit. "Ok, team I want you 3 to go to the training ground like always and continue with the schedule I gave you last time, but multiply the times by 5." Itachi knew that his father had something to do, and did not want anyone to interrupt. Menma was whining about their jounin teacher being a slave driver, for the hundredth time. Yori was quite happy to have a chance to show off her skills, maybe someday Itachi would notice her. Not going to happen any time if Itachi had any choice in the matter. His mind was on a little lady that was the daughter of the ramen stand owner. From what he saw she was kind, gentle, caring, beautiful and a good cook. All in all to Itachi it meant that she was a very good prospect to be a good wife in the future. They did not eat ramen, as much as he would like, his mother was very much into insuring that her family had a healthy diet.

Naruto jumped through the window into the Hokage's office. First he caught Minato doing paperwork, then he heard a small scream as the jump cause many of his carefully stacked papers to fall off his desk. "Naruto, remind me, how many times I have told you to use the door?" Naruto looked like he was thinking as he evaded a coffee cup coaster and caught the cup in his right hand. "I think that would be 43. Thank you Minato, I really could use a cup of coffee." Naruto walked over to the coffee jar and made himself a cup. "Naruto, as much as I love to chat with you. Do you actually have anything important to discuss?" He sat down and took a sip of his coffee.

"Well it all depends, I just saw your wife beat a rug half to death with a wooden paddle. My supposedly dead grandfather showed up in my last mission to tell me his crazy plan for world peace and Mikoto wants to have another baby, she wants a girl. You tell me if anything of that is of interest to you." He continued drinking his coffee, and waited for Minato to get his head off the desk. He had hit his head just as he heard the name of his wife. He finally decided to get his head up and saw a smiling Naruto finishing his coffee. "Kushina wants to have another baby too, and she wants a boy. So you can pretty much imagine what I told her. Something along the lines that being Hokage was a very time consuming job, and I might not have the stamina to conceive another child. I asked her to wait till I could schedule some free time. And that is why she is beating that rug. I imagine she placed a picture of me on that rug. So my advice to you is knock up Mikoto soon, or I will make room for you to share a space with me in the dog house." Naruto did not find that last comment amusing at all.

"Besides our happy marriages and family mind telling me in detail what did your crazy dead grandfather have in mind for world peace." Naruto did just that. He explained the plan in great detail. Minato took a piece of paper and began writing. As soon as he finished he asked Minato what he was writing. He told him that he was writing possible names for his future goddaughter. Naruto almost wanted to punch him. Being Hokage had a few advantages, and if he did hit him, it would be treason. So that saved him from Naruto's anger. "Just kidding, I am making a map of the elemental nations and trying to remember how many of these tail beast each nation was supposed to have." Naruto quickly asked Kurama and Kurama told him that the Hokage was wrong. Iwa only had 2 not 3 tail beasts.

"I believe that this idea, this entire thing could be a trap. They tell you to go and befriend the jinjuriki of the other hidden villages, and the follow close behind you. They tell the victim that they are friends of your family, that you called their jinjuriki to a private training session. The victim follows believing that they would meet you. This groups gets a tail beast, kills the jinjuriki and makes one of their own ranks that much more powerful by making him or her the new jinjuriki." Naruto did not like to hear that somebody called his grandfather a liar, but he had to look at it from a logical sense and it made sense. "So you are not going to allow me to meet with my fellow jinjuriki?"

Minato laughed, "As soon as your team are chunin, don't be crazy Naruto. I will of course allow you to meet with your fellow jinjuriki. This is a golden opportunity to identify the members of your supposed grandfather's group. As long as we keep an eye on you, and on the possible victim. I don't see any possible risk." Naruto asked why did he have to wait till after his team passed the next Chunin Exams. Minato looked at him, with a look of surprise on his face. "Naruto, I would have to talk to all the other Kage, and arrange possible security measures for your meeting with their jinjuriki. If they are Chunin you would have more time to get to know your fellow jinjuriki, or siblings if you prefer to call them that."

"So what is our next mission?" Naruto asked as he put his cup down, and caught a scroll thrown at him. "I did finish telling you that I need to talk to the other Kages, did I not? guess who is going to handle the delivery of the communication scroll between us?" Naruto simply pointed at himself, and Minato simply nodded. "So until they are ready for the chunin exam we are your mail delivery service?" Minato simply laughed, "You could say that, I would rather say that you will be handling extremely important information from your Hokage. I think you team will like my description more."

Naruto left through the window yet, again. Minato screamed for the 44th time now, for him to use the door. The anbu guards could not say it out loud, but they joked that Oni was clearly doing this to keep their Hokage quick on his feet.

"Team stop for a moment. I have a long term mission from our Hokage. He wishes us to deliver a series of scrolls between all the hidden villages." Itachi was proud that they were chosen to handle such important mission. Yori was looking forward to have more chances at sneaking into Itachi's tent. Menma was the only one unhappy about it. "What are we glorified mail carriers now?" He asked Naruto, not even hiding his dislike of the mission. "Since our honorable Hokage has ordered it, yes. We are mail carriers until such time he finds it, no longer necessary. So pack light, because we are headed towards Suna. If you like sand, and hot weather you will simply love this place." His team was not happy about their destination. A giant sandbox was the only way they could describe it.

Well the trip through the lands to get to Suna were not all that bad. True they were plenty frustrated, if not down right pissed at the whole situation of the trip. Itachi wanted to train some more, Menma wanted to yell at his dad for giving them a boring thing to do, and Yori was told that since she was the only lady she had to sleep alone and if she even tried to sleep with anyone of them, Naruto gave permission to subdue her, lethal force authorized. So it pretty much meant stay in your designated sleeping area or get 2 choices, get beaten to a pulp and hog tied, or die. This effectively killed any hopes she had about trying to sleep with Itachi, which pissed her off. They had one thing to work off their anger truth be told. There was no shortage of plain greedy and stupid bandits. Naruto enjoyed the his time in beautiful nature, and he let his students deal with the bandits. If you saw how pissed those 3 genin looked, you would actually pity the bandits. Then they reached the desert, and you think bandits would be scarce where there was limited water, and the temperature during the day could hard boil and egg inside the shell without water. But no it just proved Naruto's oldest advice. No matter where we go, as long as humans live on it. You will always find someone doing something stupid. Bandits attacked them to steal everything from their money to their water. Naruto was not going to subject his team to fighting idiots at this temperature. So he decided to produce 2 shadow clones. One used the Fire style: Dragon fire jutsu, and the other the Wind style: Great breakthrough jutsu. The bandits were burned to ash in mere seconds. He simply looked at the surprised genin and told them. "If you use cooperation. You can combine jutsu like that and finish a group of dumb bandits fast."

The group was quite happy when they reached the gate to the village. He told them who they were and what their objective was. The guards decided to escort them directly to the Kazekage's office. For some odd reason people would stare at Naruto no matter where he was. On the way to the office he was looked at by most ninja and even some villagers. The whole situation made him feel rather on edge. When they finally arrived they were greeted by the Kazekage, who not only was happy to see Naruto. He took the scroll and invited the team to eat dinner with his family. Naruto had to ask the Kazekage the question, that had been ringing in his mind since meeting the man. "Sir, I do not mean to be disrespectful, but why the special treatment?" Kazekage laughed as he heard Naruto talk. "I was told by my precious daughter that a jinjuriki was on the way here. She has been keeping an eye on you with her sand. Temari was specially glad to see how you dealt with those brigands. It's not every day my precious daughter is happy. Why shouldn't I treat well the group of people that made my daughter smile?"
