Chapter 122

[A/N: Four days left for engagement, and here I am writing to get my nervousness off.]

He waded through the familiar path now, his long jacket firmly heating him up. For a moment, he paused to think whether she would want to see him. He had screamed at her, shot profanities.

But wasn't she here for his mother?

He had sighed in relief, when he had found Maa alive. And his mind was negating the fact with all its might that anything would happen to Maa.

It just couldn't.

He reached the lake, and his eyes searched.

His curiosity taking him into desperation, he screamed to the night.

"Kirara! Kiraara..." His voice echoed in the woods, and nothing seemed to reply back.

She appeared in front of him, conjuring up from a smoke. She was a deep gray, and for once, he didn't feel like naming her.

"Why do you want to see me, My Precious." She asked, her voice a bit heavy.

"I saw a dream." He replied, cutting to the chase, "And don't call me that."

"I never asked your permission, why would I need it now?" She mildly said.

"Kirara. Stop... I don't even want to talk." He was getting more and more annoyed. Why did he even want to find out why he had the stupid dream? It didn't seem worth knowing right now.

"Then why are you here?"

"Because I saw someone called All-Father and Lucifer in my dream." He barked out, just to see her go frigid in shock.
