***NOW ENTERING LOVE PART II***
Wander's body suddenly jolted to life and his eyes shot open. His lungs expanded in size and then shrunk as he took tremendous nerves inside him shook and caused his hands to shake, chills were sent down his spine as well. He tried not to wiggle too much; not wanting to wake his fellow companion. Wander quietly got out from in his hat and then put it on his head. He slowly crawled off of Sylvia and contacted the ground. He sighed.
The night was still young - wee-hours in the morning. The stars above him shined bright and a few clouds were seen in the distance, but not enough to block all of the stars in the night sky. Wander felt the warmth of the fire that still crackled to life on the ground beside him. That wasn't the only thing that was beside him that caught his attention. Sticks were laying up against a log where he had sat last night. They were used for making roasted space marshmallows, which were both Wander and Sylvia's favorite. He smiled and then looked back at Sylvia, checking up on her and making sure he didn't disturb her slumber. She was still sound asleep, dreaming of who knows what.
He picked up the canteen, opened the lid and took a sip out of it, quenching his thirst. He sighed as the water traveled down and hit the bottom of his stomach. He looked to his left and saw a large forested area. Without any source of light, the place seemed ominous. He then looked at his right and saw a cliff that lead off to something. Out of curiosity, he traveled over to the cliff, reaching the very edge of it. Wander glanced down and saw nothing but jagged rocks and crevices. It looked painful if he ended up slipping and falling.
Wander turned around for a second or two, checking up on Sylvia who was illuminated by the fire. He then turned back around and witnessed an awesome experience of the stars which lit up the world he was on. Out of the numerous stars, there was one that caught his attention the most. There was a brilliant star that stood out from the rest, flashing with it's stunning glimmer. Wander's eyes set glue on it, the shining body of gas reflected in the nomad's pupils.
"Wow, what an amazing sight!" Wander quietly spoke out of glee. He smiled and stared at it for a few more seconds before revisiting the highlights of the nightmare he just had. He tried not to think of it, but he was having a hard time doing so. The images of pain and suffering haunted his mind and the powerful Leader who was in charge lead Wander into concern. He remembered that deep and chilling voice that told him about the letters and soon he remembered some of the words that came from Sylvia's letter. Still on the cliff, Wander looked up at that same star and started to talk to the heavenly body above.
"What a nightmare I had," Wander started, "it seemed so real. I-I don't know what to say. Is there something you're trying to tell me?" Wander stared at the stars hoping to get a response of some sort. Nothing.
He sighed.
"I just don't get it. Those letters... The events... what is going on?" He questioned.
"Wander, who are you talking to?" A voice behind him uttered.
Alarmed, Wander quickly turned around to face Sylvia. "I guess myself. I'm hoping to get a few answers..." Wander's face wore fear.
"What are you talking about?"
Wander sighed, "I had a nightmare last night. It wasn't the prettiest of course and," he sighed once more, "Hater was in it. You were in it. I was in it. It was just freaky."
Sylvia listened and gained some knowledge on his nightmare. "Well, you just had a nightmare. That is all. No worries, buddy."
"I can't help but worry!" Wander raised his voice in panic. "It felt so real and I felt like something or someone was trying to tell me something. I heard a deep voice telling me that it was time to wake up, and right after that, I woke up. He mentioned something about letters and how things were going to happen. I don't really believe that... I-I don't want to believe it..."
"Hmm... well, like I said, it was just a nightmare. You said it yourself, you don't believe it so there should be no worries." Sylvia said with concern.
A cold wind brushed up against his orange fur and his arms wrapped himself up, trying to stay somewhat warm. Sylvia's mane danced in the wind. There was a reason why they built a campfire.
"Come on, lets get some breakfast and then head out, alright?" Sylvia suggested. Wander nodded and followed her back to the fire. His feet brushed against the dirt and the nomad soon sat down on the log. He reached inside his hat and grabbed a skillet and some grease. Sylvia grabbed them off of the log and put it on the holder which was above the burning fire. The fresh bottle of grease was opened and the annoying white seal was tossed away. The thick yellow liquid was poured inside the warm skillet, and a few minutes later, it started to pop.
"So, what are you hungry for?" Sylvia asked.
Wander thought for a second, "How about some eggs?" He reached inside his hat and grabbed a dozen. The container of eggs were opened and about 4 of them were taken out. Sylvia cracked them against the rim of the pan and the contents spilled inside, frying in the hot grease. Two for him and two for her.
"What's today?" Sylvia yawned.
"Saturday." Wander announced. Sylvia blinked and then asked Wander how much Orbbal Juice was left. Immediately, the nomad thought of the occurrence in the dream he had where they had ran out. Wander gritted his teeth on the dreadful result and reached inside his hat. The bottle was snatched and pulled out. It weighed like paper. And... it was empty. Wander's eyes looked inside the empty bottle to find not a single drop of Orbbal Juice. He shrugged and held it upside down.
"I was afraid that we were about to run out again." Sylvia stated. "Do you know where the nearest Orbbal Pump is?"
Wander shook his head in disagreement. Sylvia sighed in disbelief.
Sylvia looked down and flipped the eggs over. "Sunny-side or scrambled?"
"Hmm... scrambled!" Wander said excitedly. Sylvia nodded and made him his eggs first. Then she made hers sunny-side up. The two of them nommed on their eggs before heading out for their quest to find the nearest Orbbal Pump or some juice in a store.
"I don't know if this is just a nightmare or a dream, but whatever it is, I don't like it." Wander thought to himself, "Could it be just a coincidence that we ran out of Orball Juice when I had a dream where we did? Sylvia just thinks it's a nightmare... but I still have yet to believe that. What are we going to do?"
Wander hopped on top of Sylvia and grabbed on the black ropes that were connected to her.
"Let's go do this!" Sylvia said positively. Wander put on a fake smile and hollered the infamous, "Yi-ha!"
