Chapter 261
On Friday Febuary 1st Charles Gunn was returning to Anne's shelter. According to Willow there were 125 days until graduation. Gunn wasn't sure what he wanted after highschool. As much as he hated the work, he liked helping people. Maybe he could become a rogue vampire hunter like Wesley. Traveling the country, fighting demons on his own terms. But their was the question of money. Maybe working odd jobs, staying in shelters. There were some organizations that paid hunters like him, for instance the watchers. But Gunn wasn't sure he trusted them. As Gunn was walking he heard his name called. He turned around and there was the cop, Atkinson. Gunn recognized Atkinson from Los Angelas. Gunn encounterd problems with cops, including this one. Atkinson wasn't as bad as some, but that wasn't what startled Charles Gunn. Atkinson was killed in the line of duty five months ago. Before Gunn could ask what was happenning officer Atkinson drew his gun and opened fire.
