Meanwhile at Ben's house...
Chloe had just walked into the living room where Leo was reading the newspaper.
"Hey...Leo..." Chloe said awkwardly.
"Welcome home Chloe...Have a seat." Leo said seriously as Chloe walked over to him and she sat down.
"So...I know you're probably really mad at me and...you're probably going to ground me...I am so sorry..." Chloe said honestly.
"I was mad at you...but you didn't hurt me...You hurt your friend, Kathy...What were you thinking? I...thought you were smarter than this." Leo said concerned.
"I know...and I feel really guilty about it...We were both drinking...and things just got a little out of hand..." Chloe said sadly.
"So you slept with him?" Ben said sternly from behind Chloe.
"Ben! Uh...What are you doing here?" Chloe asked confused.
"I'm home for Thanksgiving...Are you going to tell us what happened?" Ben said firmly as he sat in a chair.
"I...did..." Chloe said sadly.
"You did what?" Leo asked intrigued.
"I had sex with Chase...And I really wish I could take it back..." Chloe said honestly.
"Chloe! Did he use protection?" Leo asked worried and Ben looked at her with a disappointed look on his face.
"I...I can't remember...Most of what happened last night was a blur..." Chloe said seriously as her eyes got watery.
"I'm going to punch him...Nobody takes advantage of my sister." Ben said angrily.
"Clam down Ben...There's no need to punch anybody...Well...at least you're all right...He didn't...rape you?" Leo said concerned.
"Of course not...We both drank too much so we're both to blame for this...And I hate alcohol but...I was just feeling really depressed cause of Jack...and...I thought it would help me feel better...And it did for a few minutes...God...I thought my life was getting better but...it hasn't..." Chloe said seriously.
"Why didn't you just come home? We'll always help you feel better." Ben said nicely.
"Thanks...but...my friends really wanted to go to the party and I didn't want to say no...We had a great time until Chase started flirting with me...I knew he was with Kathy but after a few drinks I didn't even care...She probably hates me." Chloe said honestly as she looked at Ben and then Leo.
"I sure hope not...Kathy's a sweet girl...I'm sure you two will work this out...And I hope you never drink again cause you're underage. That goes for both of you...And no matter what happens, I will always love you two." Leo said sternly and then kindly as he gave Chloe a hug.
"Aww...I love you too Leo...Hopefully Kathy will forgive me." Chloe said sweetly as she let go of Leo.
"Love you too Dad..." Ben said smiling as Leo stood up.
"I know you do...I have some paperwork to do so...I'll let you two talk...And where's Amy and John?" Leo asked concerned.
"They're upstairs...Amy gave John a bath so Ricky won't have to later...He should be here soon to pick him up." Ben said nicely.
"All right...I'll see you later. And I'm glad you're home Chloe." Leo said happily and he left the living room.
"How do you know that Kathy knows about this?" Ben asked surprised.
"Because I saw one of her friends take a picture of me kissing Chase...How did you find out about this?" Chloe said seriously.
"Kathy called Amy...I'm sorry that this happened but...at least you learned from it, right?" Ben said sincerely as he sat next to Chloe on the couch.
"Yes I did...And I should have listened to you about Jack...He really isn't the guy for me..." Chloe said honestly.
"Why do you say that? I thought you really liked him." Ben said worried.
"I did until...he almost kissed Grace..." Chloe said sadly.
"What? Oh...It was in the newspaper...wasn't it?" Ben said awkwardly.
"Yeah it was...Ugh...I should have known he was trouble after hearing so much about him from Grace..." Chloe said a little irritated.
"It's ok...I'm sure you'll find a nice guy someday...You deserve it." Ben said sweetly.
"Sure I do...I'm just a worthless skank that isn't worthy of anyone...I messed up things with every guy I've been with...Geeze...I even tried to have sex with you...What is wrong with me?" Chloe said honestly.
"Listen to me, Chloe...There is nothing wrong with you...You've just made a lot of mistakes...Everybody does. You're not a worthless skank...You have a family that loves you now and you have friends who care about you too..." Ben said sincerely as he pulled Chloe into a hug.
"Thanks Ben...But I don't have a guy who loves me..." Chloe said sweetly as Ben rubbed her back.
"I'm sure you will someday...Just be patient...True love waits...I learned that the hard way after messing up things with Amy." Ben said seriously as he let go of Chloe.
"All right...You actually say something useful every now and then." Chloe said as she smiled slowly.
"Heh...I try...Did you have dinner?" Ben said nicely.
"No I didn't...I'm pretty hungry...What do we have?" Chloe said sweetly.
"What don't we have is the better question...Ha ha...I'll cook you something." Ben said happily as they stood up and they walked into the hallway where they saw Amy and John.
"Where is Ricky? He was supposed to be here a half an hour ago." Amy said annoyed.
"I don't know...Maybe he got stuck in traffic..." Ben said awkwardly.
"Yeah...I'll just have to call him..." Amy rolled her eyes as she took her phone out.
"Uh...Nice to see you again Amy..." Chloe said nicely and she walked into the kitchen with Ben.
A few minutes later Ricky rang the doorbell and Amy answered it after putting her phone away.
"Where have you been? John's getting sleepy." Amy said a little irritated as she opened the door.
"I'm sorry Amy...There was a bad accident on the highway and it slowed everyone down...Hey John." Ricky said sincerely and then happily as he looked at Amy and John.
"Oh...It's ok...At least you're here now...Good night John." Amy said smiling as she handed John to Ricky.
"Good night...ma...ma..." John said sleepily as he laid his head on Ricky's shoulder.
"He sure does sound tired...Heh...A nice ride in the car should help him sleep better." Ricky said as he smiled.
"Yeah...Good night Ricky." Amy said sweetly.
"Later..." Ricky said seriously as he turned around.
"Wait! You're coming here for Thanksgiving right?" Amy said concerned.
"Of course I am...And Grace is too...I promise that John will get to see both of us on holidays. And his birthdays too." Ricky said honestly.
"All right...Sounds good to me...Bye Ricky." Amy said kindly and she closed the front door.
Ricky put John in the back seat and put his seat belt on. Grace was sleeping in the passenger seat.
Heh...I can't believe she's asleep...It has been a long day. Ricky thought to himself as he got in the driver's seat and he started his car.
About twenty minutes later Ricky made it to the butcher shop and he got out of the car with John. Grace was fast asleep.
"Hey buddy...Can you unlock the door for daddy?" Ricky said smiling as he gave John the key to the butcher shop.
"Ok..." John said happily after yawning and he walked to the door and unlocked it. Ricky took Grace's seatbelt off and he got her out of the car and carried her to the door.
"Mmm...I love you Ricky." Grace said sleepily as she laid her head on Ricky's chest while John opened the door for Ricky.
"Heh...Thanks John..." Ricky said nicely as he walked through the door. He carried Grace up the stairs and John followed him.
"I got this door too!" John said excited as he opened the door.
"Thank you buddy...Man...Grace is heavier than I thought." Ricky said tiredly as he walked through his apartment door. He walked into his room and gently put Grace on the bed.
"Why is Gracie so tired?" John asked sweetly.
"It's been a long day, John...Did you have fun with Mommy and Ben?" Ricky said kindly as he walked out of his room with John.
"Yeah! We went to...to the park and got ice cream. I'm tired." John said innocently as he rubbed his eyes.
"Heh...It's past your bed time. I love you John." Ricky said as he smiled and picked up John and walked into his room.
He put John on his bed and put the blanket over him as he closed his eyes.
"I love you Daddy..." John said sweetly as he started to fall asleep.
"Good night bud...Sweet dreams." Ricky said quietly and he gave John a quick kiss on the forehead and he left his room to go into his after turning John's lamp off.
Ricky got into his bed and he slowly put his arms around Grace.
"I love you so much, Grace."Ricky whispered into her ear and he gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"Thanks for carrying me into bed, Ricky...Love you too." Grace said sweetly.
"What? You're awake?" Ricky asked confused.
"No...I'm just sleep talking..." Grace said sarcastically as she turned around and faced Ricky.
"Heh...You're so funny...Were you really sleeping in the car?" Ricky said kindly as he smiled and touched Grace's left hand with his.
"Of course I was...If I wasn't then you wouldn't have had to carry me...Heh...And I heard you say I was heavy." Grace said sweetly.
"Oh...I didn't mean it like that...I was just tired after carrying you up the stairs. Your weight is perfect." Ricky said honestly.
"I know...I was testing you...Heh...And thanks for seeing Jack with me...I'm glad he's doing better." Grace said nicely and then seriously.
"Ha ha...I knew that...No problem...Jack's our friend and I'm glad he's doing better too...It's too bad Chloe cheated on him..." Ricky said sarcastically and then honestly.
"Yeah but hopefully she learned her lesson...I'm sure Jack's fine...I don't think he liked Chloe that much...because of me..." Grace said concerned.
"Yeah...Don't worry about Jack...I promise that I'm going to give you what he never did. Everyday, I keep falling deeper in love with you, Grace." Ricky said kindly and seriously as he smiled while he touched Grace's cheek.
"Aww, Ricky! I keep falling deeper in love with you too! I'll try to not worry about Jack too much...and I hope I can provide you with what Amy never gave you." Grace said happily as she touched Ricky's cheek.
"You already have..." Ricky smirked and he gave Grace a long kiss.
"Mmm...We should sleep now..." Grace said kindly as she licked her lips.
"We should...But we don't have class tomorrow...I do have to work in the morning though..." Ricky said smiling and then a little irritated.
"Aww...That's all right...At least you're making money." Grace said nicely.
"Yeah...I need all the money I can get..." Ricky said seriously.
"Money for what?" Grace asked intrigued.
"Oh...You know for bills and John...and...us." Ricky said nervously.
"Right...For us?" Grace said surprised.
"Heh...Yeah...I want...a future with you, Grace...You make me so happy." Ricky said honestly.
"Aww! I want a future with you too, Ricky. And you make me so happy too." Grace said sweetly and she gave Ricky a long kiss.
"Heh...Good night babe..." Ricky said happily as Grace cuddled next to him and he put one of his arms around Grace's shoulder onto her back.
"Good night..." Grace said sleepily and she closed her eyes while she put her head on Ricky's chest.
The next morning in New York...
"Two days of work and we're off to Cali!" Omar said excited after eating his breakfast.
"Yeah. I'm so excited to see everyone again." Adrian said happily as she put her dishes in the sink.
"Me too...What are you doing today?" Omar said smiling as he grabbed his brief case.
"Uh...I don't know...It's too cold to go running...I guess I could decorate the nursery." Adrian said sweetly.
"Sounds good...I'm sure it will turn out great...And...are you going to have a baby shower?" Omar asked seriously.
"Hmm...I guess I will...Hopefully it will be better than my last one...Heh..." Adrian said worried as she smiled.
"No kidding...Ha ha...I gotta go. Love you, Adrian." Omar said happily.
"I love you too, Omar...See you later." Adrian said sweetly and she gave Omar a short kiss and he left their house.
A few hours later the doorbell rang. Adrian had a puzzled look on her face as she walked to the door. She peeked out the window and was surprised to see Mac and she opened the door.
"Mac? What are you doing here?" Adrian asked shocked.
"Hey Adrian...I didn't know you lived here! I actually just opened my own pizza restaurant downtown...It was my uncle's but he's retiring and I'm the manager of it...I got a business degree and...I was just driving around and letting people know about it...I got some coupons that you can use there if you want." Mac said surprised and then nicely.
"Wow...Good for you! I would love some coupons! Omar and I will have to check it out sometime." Adrian said kindly as she smiled.
"Thanks...We have really good pizza and salads and...other Italian stuff." Mac said smiling as he gave Adrian some coupons.
"Sounds yummy...I'll see ya around then...I gotta finish decorating the nursery." Adrian said happily.
"Oh...You're pregnant?" Mac asked surprised.
"Yeah...I'm really excited...Omar is too...It's going to be our first baby together...And we don't want to find out the sex of the baby until they're born..." Adrian said sweetly.
"Congratulations! I'm glad that you're doing well, Adrian...Especially after..." Mac said awkwardly.
"Thanks and...don't worry about it...It happened a long time ago and...I'm sorry for using you back in high school." Adrian said honestly.
"I'm sorry too...I hope you have a nice day..." Mac said sincerely and he walked back towards his car and Adrian closed her door.
"Heh...What are the odds of that..." Adrian said to herself as she put the coupons on the kitchen table.
A few minutes later her phone rang...
"Hey Grace...You're never gonna believe who just rang my door bell." Adrian said seriously as she answered the phone.
"Really? Who?" Grace asked surprised.
"Mac...I can't believe he lives here. He just opened his own pizza restaurant and he gave me some coupons." Adrian said kindly.
"Mac...Wasn't he one of the guys you slept with to...make Ricky jealous?" Grace asked confused.
"Ugh...Yeah...That was a huge mistake...I'm surprised you remember that...It happened a long time ago..." Adrian said a little irritated and then intrigued.
"Heh...You did tell me about a lot of the guys you slept with...Anyway...I didn't know if you heard but...Chloe cheated on Jack..." Grace said awkwardly.
"Oh...yeah I did...Heh...Ben told me about it...I also talked to Jack and he didn't seem to really care...I don't think he liked Chloe that much." Adrian said honestly.
"That's what I thought too...Hopefully he'll find somebody else...And...Ricky told me that he keeps falling deeper in love with me everyday and...he wants a future with me, Adrian! I am so happy!" Grace said worried and then excited.
"I'm sure Jack will find someone else...He even told me that he was never in love with you...and he hopes Ricky gives you all the happiness you want...I was really surprised to hear him say that...I guess he finally learned that you have to let go sometimes...And I'm really happy for you, Grace. I told you that Ricky was the right guy for you." Adrian said seriously and then happily.
"I know Jack was never in love with me...If he was, he never would have cheated on me...He really said that about Ricky? Are you sure that you talked to Jack?" Grace said surprised.
"Yes I talked to Jack...Heh...I think he's finally over you...So you don't have to worry about him trying to get back with you anymore." Adrian said as she smiled.
"Thank the Lord...I thought he would never get over me...And I also called because...I asked my Mom about Chase being my cousin...and it turns out that...he was adopted...but one of my Mom's sister's is his birth mother so...he is my first cousin." Grace said seriously.
"No kidding about Jack...Heh...Oh wow...I guess your family just keeps growing all the time...But how did you know that Chase was your cousin?" Adrian asked intrigued.
"Heh...I guess my family does keep growing...Well...I remember hearing my parents talking about our cousins when I was younger...and I know they talked about me and Tom having a cousin that we never met...And as I got older, I remember seeing pictures of Chase that my Mom would get from her sister...I guess she had an open adoption...But when I saw him at the bowling alley and then again at church, I recognized him from the pictures." Grace said seriously.
"Wow...That's impressive...You have a really good memory...I can't even remember the last time I saw my cousins...They live mostly in Texas I think...Who knows how many cousins I have my Dad's side since he wasn't around when I was growing up...But...uh...wasn't Chase flirting with you?" Adrian said surprised and then awkwardly.
"Yeah...I'm sorry about your dad...Ugh...I guess Chase was flirting with me...Ricky and Ethan both thought he was at church...He didn't know that we were related so...it doesn't matter anyway...If I ever see him again, of course I'll tell him that we're cousins." Grace said honestly.
"Don't worry about my Dad...Yeah...That's probably a good idea that you tell Chase you're cousins...Heh...It's too bad he cheated on Kathy...with Chloe...Weren't those two friends?" Adrian said confused.
"I know...I feel so bad for Kathy...I encouraged her to forgive Chloe and Chase...And I'm pretty sure they are friends...Oh, geeze...This is just like when you slept with guys that I was dating or interested in..." Grace said sadly.
"Yeah...Let's just forget about that...It was a huge mistake...And at least I didn't sleep with Grant or Daniel." Adrian said seriously.
"Heh...True...But you were with Ben when I was with Grant and you were interested in Omar when I was with Daniel...It's funny how much things have changed since then...I was with them like...a couple years ago...And then I went back to Jack...I don't know what I was thinking..." Grace said concerned as she rolled her eyes.
"Oh yeah...Ben was really great but...I'm glad that I have Omar...I know what you were thinking...You did exactly what I did...using other guys to make Jack jealous like I did to make Ricky jealous...Heh...But at least we learned from it." Adrian said honestly.
"Yes we did...I need to check on John so...I'll talk to you later." Grace said sweetly.
"All right...Bye Grace...I'll see you soon." Adrian said kindly and she hung up.
Sounds like Chloe learned from her mistake after sleeping with Chase. And I thought it would be cute to have a bonding moment with her and Ben! And Amy and Ricky are doing well with sharing John for now...And I thought it would be adorable for John to help Ricky while he carried Grace into bed. Ha ha! What exactly does Ricky mean by wanting a future with Grace? Hmm...Is Grace also going to stop worrying about Jack since he's over her? When and where is Adrian going to have her baby shower? I thought it would be interesting to bring Mac into the story. And Chase is Grace's cousin which is kind of awkward but how it will affect Chase when he finds out? Stay tuned to find out!
