When Buffy got the phone call she went to Anne's shelter. There was Gunn, doctor Ben Wilkinson was tending Gunn's wound. Ben said they could speak freely in frony of him, he knew the score.
Buffy: What happenned?
Gunn: A cop shot me. Except that he was already dead. Shot five months ago by some drug-addict.
Buffy: So how did he do this?
Gunn Amy, Warren, and their Voudon priest are dead. But the cops might've taken their zombie stuff.
Buffy: Why would the cops raise the dead?
Gunn: I don't know. Maybe Atkinson's family did it. Maybe his partner. I never got along witht his guy, but before this he never would've just shot an unarmed kid like this. Someone's raising the dead for evil. I'd say we need to know who.
