Chapter 267
Buffy wondered who had raised a certain zombie cop. She had three suspects. A relative and/or partner of Atkinson. But Buffy found none of those. Maybe Kate Lockley, she had access to Aristad's files. The third suspect was President Wilkins. Mayve this was part of his new order. Atkinson must've been a test subject for Wilkins' ombie army. Faith denied this, although Willow would continue listening to that bug. Kate Lockley also denied raising the dead. During this night of patrolling Buffy ran into Angel. Buffy wasn't thrilled with him, how he'd saved Spike at the cave for one thing. She'd been thinking about him a lot lately. Feelings of anger, but also with lust. Buffy knew she was attracted to Angel. That was a bad idea for several reasons. He was dating Ms Burkle, she was dating Xander. He was a vampire, she was a potential slayer. It was also weird that Angel's son had dated Buffy's sister. These were all several reasons why Buffy and Angel couldn't be together. Yet she kept thinking about him.
