"What was that?" Ricky said surprised as he sat up on the couch with Grace.
"I don't know...Should we call the cops?" Grace said worried.
"No...I'll grab my bat and peek from the stairs." Ricky said seriously as he stood up.
"All right...Be careful..." Grace said sadly.
"Everything's going to be fine..." Ricky said nicely after grabbing his bat from a small closet and then he walked out the door.
"Oh, God...Please keep Ricky safe..." Grace said concerned as she closed her eyes.
Ricky slowly and quietly walked down a few steps until he could see the butcher shop. He saw that one of the windows was broken and then he saw a dog eating some meat from a trash can.
"What the? This has gotta be a trap..." Ricky said quietly to himself and then he went back to the apartment.
"What's going on?" Grace said concerned.
"Someone broke the window and there's a dog eating meat out of a trash can. I think they're using him as a decoy to harm us or to steal money. There's no way the dog broke the window." Ricky said seriously.
"Oh no! What should we do?" Grace said shocked.
"I guess call 911...Unless there's no one with a gun...Get a large knife and if someone's down there, we'll call the cops." Ricky said sternly.
Grace had a horrified look on her face as she ran into the kitchen and grabbed the largest knife she could find in a drawer and then she walked out of the apartment with Ricky. They walked down some steps and saw the dog still eating. A few minutes later, they heard a young guy call the dog's name and he ran through the broken window.
Ricky and Grace ran down the stairs and out of the butcher shop. Next they ran after the guy who was running with the dog for a few blocks.
"Hey you! Stop!" Ricky said loudly as they kept running.
The guy stopped running and so did the dog.
"What are you doing?" Ricky said sternly and out of breath as he walked over to the guy.
"I'm sorry...I just wanted to get my dog some food...He hasn't eaten in a couple days. My parents are going to put him to sleep cause he attacked a kid in our neighborhood." The guy said sadly.
"Wow...That's awful...I'm so sorry..." Grace said sincerely.
"Uh...Why did you break the butcher shop window?" Ricky said concerned.
"So my dog could get in and eat some meat. He loves it." The guy said honestly.
"All right...Well...You should pay for the window...Why didn't you go to a pet store and get him food anyway? And what's your name?" Ricky said suspiciously.
"All the pet stores are closed at this time and I don't have money on me...My name's Arnold..." Arnold said awkwardly.
"Arnold...Didn't you go to med camp?" Grace said seriously.
"Yeah I did but...it wasn't for me...I roomed with this guy named Jason and he was pretty cool...He told me about some blonde chick named...Grace...I think...He really liked her...Heh...Those were some good times..." Arnold said as he smiled.
"Oh...Um...My name's Grace..." Grace said awkwardly and Ricky rolled his eyes.
"Really? That's crazy...So did you know Jason and the Grace girl he liked?" Arnold said surprised.
"Geeze, dude...Are you really that stupid? She is the girl that Jason liked." Ricky said annoyed.
"Gotcha...I'm sorry...There were a lot of people at med camp so I didn't know that Jason liked you...Heh...So I can mail you a check for that window..." Arnold said nervously.
"No...Just bring a check to the butcher shop tomorrow and my boss can tell you how much it will cost. If you don't, I'll have the cops come after you. The butcher shop has cameras." Ricky said sternly.
"All right...I'll see you tomorrow...Bye..." Arnold said nicely and he walked away from them with his dog towards a neighborhood.
"You were a little harsh to Arnold..." Grace said concerned as they started to walk towards the butcher shop.
"So what? He broke the window for dog food. He made me angry and I don't think Leo is going to be much happier when he finds out." Ricky said firmly.
"I know but...he seemed nice...He said that his parents are going to put his dog to sleep..." Grace said sweetly and then sadly.
"Ugh...I'm sure he just used that as a sob story to cover up for stealing money from the cash register." Ricky said a little irritated.
"Yeah...Maybe...Let's get some sleep..." Grace said tiredly as they walked into the butcher shop.
"Sounds good to me but I have to put a cover thing over the broken window." Ricky said nicely and he went into another room to get a cover for the window.
Grace sighed and she saw a rock on the ground by broken glass from the window and then she saw a wallet next to it and picked it up. Ricky walked back into the room with the cover sheet and he put it over the window.
"I guess Arnold left his wallet..." Grace said seriously as she gave Ricky the wallet after he cleaned up and threw away the broken glass with a broom and dust pan.
"Ok...I'll put it on the table..." Ricky said kindly as they walked up to the apartment.
"So much for our romantic evening..." Grace said sadly as she walked into their room.
"Heh...It's not over yet..." Ricky said happily as he walked into their room after putting the wallet on the kitchen table.
"Why do you say that? We have school in the morning..." Grace said nicely as she took her dress off and put on pink pajamas.
"We could make out until we fall asleep." Ricky said as he smirked after he put on shorts after taking his other clothes off.
"Mmm...With your shirt off?" Grace said smiling as she turned around and sat on the bed.
"Of course...You can take yours off too." Ricky said seductively as he put his hand on Grace's cheek.
"Heh...I...uh...Don't have a bra on...My dress had one in it..." Grace said awkwardly.
"Oh...Wow...That is...so sexy..." Ricky said surprised and then he moved his face close to Grace's.
"Ricky wait..." Grace said seriously as she pulled away from him.
"What is it?" Ricky said concerned.
"You're not going to try and take my shirt off, are you?" Grace said worried.
"No...I respect you enough to wait until we're married to see you completely naked." Ricky said honestly.
"Now that's really sexy...I love you so much." Grace said kindly as she smiled.
"You're right...I love you too." Ricky said smiling and he gave Grace a long kiss.
Next Grace and Ricky laid down in bed and kissed each other slowly until they fell asleep.
The next morning in New York...
Adrian and Omar were eating breakfast.
"I forgot to tell you that I can figure out the sex of the baby at my next doctor's appointment...If you want to..." Adrian said seriously after taking a bite of her eggs.
"Oh...Uh...I thought we were going to wait until they're born." Omar said concerned.
"Yeah...I kind of do want to wait...It makes the pregnancy more exciting." Adrian said sweetly.
"True...You keep getting more beautiful every day. I'm so excited to raise a child with you, Adrian." Omar said happily.
"Aww Omie! I'm eager to have and raise a child with you too! I think we're going to be amazing parents but...I am really nervous to be one...It's not going to be easy." Adrian said kindly and then concerned.
"I know it won't be easy...But we can do it...We're a good team." Omar said nicely as he smiled.
"Heh...We sure are. I love you." Adrian said as she smirked.
"I love you too...Have a good day, babe." Omar said smiling and then he gave Adrian a short kiss and he went out the door after grabbing his brief case and car keys.
Thirty minutes later at Hudson...
Adrian got out of her car and started walking towards a building where her first class was and she saw Ben sitting on a bench with Maria.
"Good morning Ben...How are you?" Adrian said nicely.
"Hey Adrian...I'm tired but good...And this is Maria." Ben said kindly after yawning.
"Hello Adrian! It is so nice to meet you..." Maria said happily and then sadly.
"Is there something wrong?" Adrian said surprised.
"Uh...Jimmy broke up with her recently..." Ben said awkwardly.
"Oh...The guy that Amy?" Adrian said confused.
"Yeah...You'll be ok Maria? I have to get to class." Ben said seriously as he stood up.
"Of course Bennito! I don't need Jimmy. I will...find another guy like you! Bye!" Maria said excited as she got off the bench and walked away from Ben and Adrian.
"Ooookay...Hopefully she'll be all right...And she's that Italian girl you went out with right?" Adrian said awkwardly and then seriously as they walked towards a large building.
"Yeah...I'm sure she'll find someone else...Heh...Jimmy didn't want to have a long distance relationship with her in the summer..." Ben said honestly.
"I don't blame him...If I didn't come here with Omar, I don't think we would be together. But when you're in love, you're willing to make sacrifices for the other person." Adrian said sincerely.
"That's true...I will do anything for Amy...And you're looking really great, Adrian. I'm happy for you and Omar." Ben said smiling.
"Thanks Benny. The baby is developing normally...Will you ever...marry Amy? I know you two are really young but you almost married her at fifteen..." Adrian said worried.
"I'm glad to hear that...Heh...We were naive back then and thought getting married was best for John...Of course we loved each other then but not like how we do now...And of course I want to marry Amy but I don't know when. We shouldn't get married for John though...We should do it for us." Ben said kindly.
"I agree...You two should get married for yourselves...Where is Amy anyway?" Adrian said nicely.
"She's in class...I gotta go so I'll see you tonight." Ben said happily.
"Oh yeah! I will. See ya later Ben." Adrian said sweetly and she walked towards the building next to the one Ben went into.
A few hours later at Grant High...
Ethan was walking out of the bathroom when he saw Brian getting a drink of water.
"How could you?" Ethan said sternly as he walked over to Brian.
"What are you talking about?" Brian asked confused.
"Don't act all innocent...You know what I'm talking about...You had sex with Kathy...I hate you." Ethan said angrily.
"Woah, Ethan...Calm down...Everything is fine...Kathy just wanted to do it with me once..." Brian said seriously.
"Calm down?! She was my girlfriend and she cheated on me with you! You're a real jerk, Brian. You should get back to class before I smash your stupid face in." Ethan said aggressively as he crossed his arms.
"Uh...Ok...See ya later..." Brian said in a scared tone and he ran across the hall way to get to class.
"Ethan?! In my office now!" Katelyn said firmly.
"Crap..." Ethan rolled his eyes and turned around and he followed Katelyn into her office.
"Why did you just threaten Brian?" Katelyn said concerned as they sat down.
"He slept with my girlfriend...Kathy...Ugh...I can't stand him..." Ethan said annoyed.
"Oh my...I am so sorry, Ethan...Well...my advice is that you should forgive them...I know it's hard but it will help you feel better...Trust me...And please don't threaten anyone like that again..." Katelyn said sincerely and honestly.
"Are you serious? They hurt me. I trusted Kathy...What do you know about this anyway? You have no idea how I feel..." Ethan said a little irritated.
"Yes I'm serious...Having a pity party isn't going to help you, Ethan...And...I've been in your shoes...My boyfriend cheated on me in high school and it happened again in college with another guy...And...I wasn't even good enough for my ex husband after he left me cause we lost our baby..." Katelyn said sadly.
"Oh wow...I'm sorry...Thanks for the advice Miss O'Malley...I will try to forgive Kathy and Brian...Maybe...I gotta get to class..." Ethan said nicely and he left Katelyn's office.
"Kids these days...I don't know how I got myself into this..." Katelyn said quietly to herself as she shook her head.
Meanwhile, Kathy walked out of class and into the bathroom after she saw that Amy called her.
"Come on Amy..." Kathy said a little irritated as she heard Amy's phone ring.
"Hey Kathy...How are you?" Amy said nicely.
"Uh...Better that I'm out of chemistry for a few minutes...It's so boring...Why did you call me earlier?" Kathy said intrigued.
"Because you cheated on Ethan...He told Ricky, Ricky told Adrian, and Adrian told me...So...why did you do it?" Amy said honestly.
"Oh...I should have known that's why you called...I wasn't planning on doing it...I just did...When I slept with Brian, it was after Chase cheated on me..." Kathy said seriously.
"Really?...First you hurt Ethan by being interested in Chase and now this? Two wrongs don't make a right, Kathy... What is wrong with you?" Amy said a little irritated.
"I...know I messed up...And I didn't want to hurt Ethan...But...Brian needed help studying for math and we kissed some in the library and then we...went to his house and...had sex...I know I sound like a complete idiot for doing this..." Kathy said sadly.
"You're not an idiot...I was just not expecting you to do this...After Chase cheated on you, you did the exact same thing...The only difference is that you were sober...I'm sorry for yelling at you, Kathy but...I just don't want you to get hurt again..." Amy said sincerely.
"Thanks Amy...I am defiantly not going to repeat the same mistakes again...I just hope that Ethan will forgive me..." Kathy said nicely and then concerned.
"No problem...I hope you learned your lesson and...maybe Ethan will forgive you...This is the second time that you've hurt him...What makes you think that he'll trust you again?" Amy said seriously.
"I don't know...Maybe we could try being friends for now and see how it goes...I defiantly do not care about Brian...I just used him to help me feel better about Chase..." Kathy said honestly.
"Oh...Wow...I guess we're more similar than I thought...Um...I sort of used Ben to help me feel better about losing Mimsy...and...I did cheat on him with Jimmy a while ago..." Amy said sadly.
"What do you mean you used Ben? And you cheated on him?" Kathy said surprised.
"I slept with Ben to help me feel better about losing Mimsy and...I cheated on him because I was attracted to Jimmy and I thought I liked him better than Ben but I didn't...We didn't sleep together and Ben forgave me...I think he'll always forgive me cause he really loves me...a lot and I couldn't ask for anyone other than him..." Amy said sadly and then happily.
"You're really lucky Amy...Not every girl has a great sausage prince like you do...Heh...I should probably get back to class so I'll talk to you later...And thanks for everything." Kathy said kindly.
"You're welcome, Kathy...Good luck with Ethan and I'll talk to you later." Amy said sweetly and she hung up.
Meanwhile at Grace's school...
Grace got lunch and she saw Chloe eating a sandwich with soup.
"Hey Chloe...Mind if I join you?" Grace said kindly as she sat down.
"Of course not Grace...How are you?" Chloe said nicely.
"I'm doing all right...Ricky and I had a crazy night, last night..." Grace said seriously.
"What happened?" Chloe asked concerned.
"This guy named Arnold threw a rock through the butcher shop window...I went to med camp with him...But he did it to get food for his dog...It was really weird...He's supposed to pay for it today." Grace said honestly.
"Wow...That is pretty crazy...At least no one got hurt...How's living with Ricky been?" Chloe said kindly.
"Yeah...Oh...Heh...It's been...really nice..." Grace said smiling as her cheeks turned bright pink.
"Uh huh...You two have been fooling around?" Chloe said intrigued.
"A little bit...But we haven't slept together yet...And Ricky's getting baptized on Sunday if you want to come to church and watch him..." Grace said awkwardly and then kindly after taking a bite of her sandwich.
"That's really great...I would like to see him get baptized...It's the least I could do for him after he helped find us in San Diego...So...are you two going to tie the knot any time soon?" Chloe said smiling.
"I'm sure he would love to see all our friends there...Uh...I don't know...We want to get married but...I think it's too soon...We've only been together for almost five months..." Grace said nicely and then worried.
"But you've known each other for over five years...I don't know...I'm only eighteen, what do I know about getting engaged and married? Heh...Other than it can completely change your life either for the better or...sometimes the worse...It was that way for Ben..." Chloe said honestly.
"Heh...Yeah we have known each other for years but...we haven't been in love for years...There's a difference...I do think that Ben and Adrian were really hurt after they lost their baby but...I think they learned a lot from being married to each other...It's hard to explain it because...they were so young and I don't think they really understood what marriage meant...They just got married for the baby..." Grace said seriously.
"I guess you're right...You know that Romeo and Juliet wanted to marry each other like a few days after they met or whatever...I know what you mean about Ben and Adrian...At least they're happier now..." Chloe said kindly.
"Ha ha...Very funny, Chloe...First of all, Romeo and Juliet is just a play based off of fluff and romance that isn't real...It took place back when getting married young was more acceptable...Second of all, I'm sure Ricky will marry me whenever we're ready to...By the way, are you with that...Brandon kid?" Grace said smiling and then concerned.
"Romeo and Juliet is a classic love story...I know that it was unrealistic but...I really like it...And who cares what was more acceptable hundreds of years ago? But I'm sure you two will get married when you both are ready...And...I am with Brandon...He's really nice...Unlike Jack...I can't believe I liked him..." Chloe said nicely and then a little irritated.
"Yeah...I'm glad Brandon is nice...But...didn't he sleep with his dad's ex? And please don't bring up Jack...I'm trying not to worry about him." Grace said seriously.
"Oh...Sorry...Brandon did sleep with his dad's ex girlfriend which is pretty crazy and...he told his dad about it and they're fine...I know he's not like one of the best guys out there but...I can understand him and really relate to him." Chloe said sincerely.
"It's ok...I think it's really great that you can connect to Brandon like that...Maybe you two will work out..." Grace said sweetly.
"We'll see...Heh...I'll see you later Grace...I have to walk to class across campus..." Chloe said nicely as she stood up and then she walked towards a trash can.
"So much for Jason..." Grace said quietly to herself as she took another bite of her sandwich and then her phone rang.
"Hey Mom..." Grace said nicely as she answered her phone.
"Hey Grace...How are you?" Kathleen said sweetly.
"I'm doing fine...Why?" Grace said confused.
"Leo told me about the broken window at the butcher shop...I just wanted to make sure that you didn't get hurt." Kathleen said honestly.
"Oh...Yeah...Ricky and I found the guy who broke it and he's supposed to pay for it sometime today...And it was a guy I went to med camp with actually..." Grace said seriously.
"Wow...That's pretty crazy...Heh...And I overheard you and Grant talking outside before dinner..." Kathleen said surprised and then concerned.
"Uh...You did?" Grace said nervously.
"Yes...You think that I want you to get back with him? Honey, don't be ridiculous...I know you're happy with Ricky." Kathleen said honestly.
"Yeah I know...but...it always seemed like you liked Grant best cause he was willing to talk to you about when we would have sex...And because he's going to be a doctor..." Grace said a little irritated.
"Heh...That's true and I appreciated the fact that he talked to me about it before you two did anything...Unlike Jack...The fact that Grant wants to be a doctor doesn't matter to me...He's a great guy and so is Ricky...And I'm really proud of you for encouraging him to get baptized...That's what is most important...But...why didn't you try to do that with Grant or Daniel?" Kathleen said nicely and seriously.
"You're right...Heh...And thanks Mom...I didn't try to encourage Grant or Daniel to get baptized because...I didn't really care about God when I was with them, honestly...I just used them to help me feel better after losing Dad and after Jack hurt me...At the same time, I...used them to make Jack jealous...I know it was wrong and...I defiantly learned a lot from both of them...I promise that Ricky is going to be the last one..." Grace said honestly.
"I understand, honey...And I'm glad that you have been focusing on God more...But...I do wonder if your father was still alive if you would have made the same mistakes...But it doesn't really matter...We can't live in the past and...I hope Ricky is the last one..." Kathleen said kindly.
"Me too...God has really helped me to remember who I should be and how I should treat other people...With the fruits of the spirit...I think if Dad was still alive, I might have never dated anyone again until I was thirty...He would have found out about me sleeping with Jack and he probably wouldn't have let me be with anyone else after that...Even though he...messed up too..." Grace said happily and then sadly.
"Ha ha...You're probably right...Your dad was very close to not letting you go out with Jack just because he was a football player and he thought he slept around...Don't worry about his mistakes...We have forgiven him and that's all we can do..." Kathleen said smiling and then concerned.
"After everything that happened in high school, I kind of wish that Dad didn't let me go out with Jack...Gosh...I was so desperate to be with any guy back in eighth grade...And then when Jack came along, I thought my life was perfect but...it defiantly changed...And you're right about forgiving Dad...But...I still miss him..." Grace said seriously and then sadly.
"Change is a part of life, Grace...My life has changed a lot too since Marshall died...I'm really happy with George but...I do miss your dad sometimes...Despite all his flaws, I loved him very much...And he defiantly loved us and Tom a lot...I'll never forget the day you were born...Your father was so happy and excited to see you wrapped in a pink blanket...He really loved you, more than you'll ever know...I think that's partly why he was so protective over you...You'll always be his little girl and mine too...I love you, honey..." Kathleen said sweetly as a few tears rolled down her face.
"Yeah...It is...I still love Dad...I love you too, Mom..." Grace said kindly as she wiped her eyes.
"All right...I hope you continue to do well in school and I'll see you in a few weeks..." Kathleen said nicely.
"I will...Bye Mom..." Grace said kindly and she hung up.
Meanwhile at Ricky's school...
Ricky walked into the coffee shop and he saw Jack drinking coffee and playing a game on his phone. After he got his coffee, he sat next to Jack.
"Hey Ricky...Are you excited for the Lakers game tonight?" Jack said nicely.
"That's tonight? I totally forgot...I'm supposed to work until eight..." Ricky said seriously.
"Yeah...It starts at seven...You don't think Leo will mind if you have to miss a couple hours of work, do you? I was planning on going down there around six with my Dad...Traffic to games can be pretty bad." Jack said concerned.
"He probably won't mind...I can call him after my next class...So did you hear anything else about Peter?" Ricky said intrigued.
"Uh...No I didn't...I'm sure he's ok...Are you all right? You seem a little tired..." Jack said worried.
"I was up late last night cause a guy threw a rock at a window to get meat for his dog...It wasn't that big of a deal...He's supposed to pay for it today and he left his wallet too..." Ricky said honestly.
"Oh man...That sucks...At least no one got hurt...Did you know the guy?" Jack said intrigued.
"No but Grace did...She went to med camp with him...And he knew that Jason liked her..." Ricky said a little irritated.
"Aaah...That's what's bothering you...You don't like Jason, do you?" Jack said intrigued.
"Uh...I don't really know Jason so I don't have anything against him...Besides, Grace kissed him when you were with her..." Ricky said sternly.
"Yeah but I kissed Madison and...did other things so...We were even...It's not like it matters..." Jack said honestly.
"True...So have you thought about going out with someone else?" Ricky said nicely.
"Not right now...And if you're worried that I'm going to bother Grace again...Forget it...It finally hit me last night that we're over for good...I prayed a lot about my feelings for her and...I can accept her as just a friend." Jack said seriously.
"I'm glad to hear you say that, Jack...Well...if you ever want to go out with someone...I can help fix you up..." Ricky said kindly.
"Oh...You don't have to do that but...I'll let you know...Heh...I need to get to class..." Jack said awkwardly and he grabbed his backpack and left the coffee shop.
Ricky sighed and he took a sip of his coffee and his phone rang.
"Hello?" Ricky said nicely as he answered his phone.
"Hello Ricky...It's Reuben...I just wanted to let you know that I have to submit our argument against Bob next week...Some other lawyers have to look at it before it's used in court for legal purposes...And I wanted to make sure that you do want Bob to get the death penalty..." Reuben said seriously.
"Of course I do...I've never been more sure of anything in my life...Thank you for everything, Reuben..." Ricky said sternly and then kindly.
"No problem...Sounds like a plan then...I will see you soon in New York...And I don't know if Adrian and Omar told you about this woman named Debra who bought Bob the firearm that he shot Omar with..." Reuben said honestly.
"No they haven't...I'm guessing she's one of Bob's old friends or...drug dealers..." Ricky said sadly.
"Yeah...It turns out that she has sold drugs...I think we'll be able to use her to help our case...But...I have a meeting to go to so I'll talk to you later, Ricky." Reuben said firmly.
"All right...Bye Reuben." Ricky said kindly and he hung up.
A few hours later in New York...
Amy and Ben arrived at Charley's restaurant and they walked over to where Adrian, Omar, Max, and Shawna were sitting after following a hostess.
"Hey guys! You finally made it!" Adrian said happily and she gave them both a hug.
"Yeah...This place is really nice." Amy said sweetly.
"It sure is...Heh...How much are we talking here?" Ben said sarcastically as he looked at Omar.
"Heh...It's really not that bad..." Omar said smiling.
"And this is Max and Shawna." Adrian said kindly.
"It's a pleasure to meet you...Amy...and Ben, right?" Shawna said nicely as she shook their hands after they sat down.
"Yes...It's nice to meet you too..." Ben said smiling and then he shook Max's hand after Amy did.
"So...How do you all know each other?" Amy said intrigued.
"Oh...Uh...It's a long story..." Adrian said awkwardly.
"First of all...I used to be Adrian's step brother...Heh...And...Shawna used to go out with this guy named Jack...You two know him right?" Max said nicely.
"Yes we do...How did he meet you?" Ben said confused.
"When he mentored my brother for making fake IDs..." Shawna said seriously.
"Um...Yeah...That was our fault actually...See...Ben and I wanted to get married when we were only fifteen and...this guy named Joe made the IDs and Jack took the blame for him..." Amy said honestly.
"I know...He told me everything...Heh...And...you're the Amy who has a son, right?" Shawna said kindly.
"Yes I am...How do you know that?" Amy said suspiciously.
"Because I went to your baby shower at Adrian's apartment but...I never actually saw you there or...Adrian actually..." Shawna said concerned.
"Uh...That's because I was about to have my son...It kind of stinks that I didn't actually go to my own baby shower..." Amy said sadly.
"Heh...Yeah...So...What are you guys going to order?" Adrian said awkwardly.
"Cat got your tongue, Adrian?" Ben said as he smiled.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Adrian said a little irritated.
"Nothing...I was wondering why weren't you at Amy's shower...Especially since it was at your apartment..." Ben said seriously.
"Um...She was actually with me..." Max said nervously.
"You had sex at my baby shower?!" Amy said firmly as she looked at Adrian.
"Ooookay...Um...How about we go to the bathroom for a minute..." Adrian said awkwardly as she stood up.
"Fine...We'll be right back..." Amy said annoyed as she stood up and then she followed Amy into the bathroom.
"All right...Amy...I know what you're thinking...But before you say anything...it happened a long time ago...and I was selfish and...I didn't even want to throw you a baby shower...Grace was the only one who wanted to do it...I think it should have been at her house..." Adrian said honestly.
"I can't believe you...Actually I can...It's not like it matters since I didn't even go to my baby shower...Ugh...But you slept with your brother?" Amy said in a disgusted tone.
"Well...If you want another baby shower...you and Ben could...get busy...Heh...And he was my step brother...We aren't related by blood at all...And...he wasn't the guy for me obviously..." Adrian said smiling and then seriously.
"Are you kidding me? Ben and I are not getting busy for a long time...Well...especially since I'm still in mourning...And if I do have another baby shower, please keep your clothes on if I invite you to it..." Amy said sternly.
"Oh right...I forgot you're still mourning...I'm sorry Amy...I was just joking about you and Ben...And you don't have to worry about my clothes..." Adrian said nicely.
"Heh...Thanks Adrian...Let's go back out there." Amy said kindly and they walked out of the bathroom.
About forty five minutes later everyone had their food and were eating.
"This steak is delicious." Omar said smiling after eating some of his steak.
"No kidding...We should come to this place again...Everything is amazing..." Ben said happily.
"Yeah...They're supposed to be some of the best steaks in New York..." Max said kindly.
"So...Amy...How serious are you and Ben?...If you don't mind me asking..." Shawna said intrigued after taking a bite of her chicken.
"Oh...I don't mind...We're pretty serious...I love him a lot..." Amy said sweetly.
"They defiantly are...Tell her about the chocolate syrup..." Adrian smirked.
"Heh...I don't think that's appropriate to talk about over dinner..." Amy said awkwardly.
"You're probably right...Ice cream with chocolate syrups sounds good for desert though..." Adrian said happily.
"Mmm...It does...You two seem a little young to be so serious though..." Shawna said kindly.
"We are only nineteen but...we live together and take care of John...It's almost like we're already married..." Amy said happily.
"Oh no...You said the exact same thing when you lived with Ricky before..." Adrian said concerned.
"Yeah...So? That doesn't mean anything...My relationship with Ricky wasn't real..." Amy said honestly after cutting her steak.
"Excuse me? Your relationship with Ricky wasn't real? He proposed to you at graduation...He changed his entire life for you...How can you say that your relationship with him wasn't real?" Adrian said surprised and defensively.
"I'll always appreciate everything Ricky did for me but...he mostly just did all of that for John...If we didn't have him, I would have been another one night stand on his radar...For a short time, I thought our relationship was real but...we weren't very good at compromising...All the constant arguing of getting married or not just...got completely ridiculous. And...I think if we did get married, we wouldn't have stayed married for very long..." Amy said seriously.
"Wow...I'm sorry to hear that, Amy...At least you have Ben now..." Shawna said sincerely.
"Yes I do...Heh...So...what about you and Max?" Amy said intrigued.
"We've been together for a few months and...We're getting pretty serious...He's a really sweet guy..." Shawna said smiling.
"Aww...That's really great, Shawna! Does he call you? Cause he had that problem with me." Adrian said nicely and then a little irritated.
"Ha ha...Yes he does...And I think I might move in with him in a couple months or so...We'll see..." Shawna said honestly.
"Well...I think you two make a cute couple..." Amy said kindly.
"Thanks Amy...You and Ben do too...Heh...Young love...I hope you two enjoy it while you can...Before you know it, you'll be my age...Ha ha..." Shawna said happily.
"Heh...You're not that old..." Amy said nicely after taking a bite of her steak.
A couple hours later the three couples left the restaurant and went home.
"That was a lot of fun..." Ben said happily as he unlocked the apartment.
"It sure was...What were you talking about with Max and Omar?" Amy said sweetly as she walked in with John in her arms.
"Jobs, sports, food...And other things..." Ben said nicely as closed the door.
"Oh...I'm going to tuck John in...I'm glad Sarah got him to sleep..." Amy said kindly as she walked into John's room.
Ben smiled as he took his shoes off and his jacket. A few minutes later Amy walked in with just her bra and underwear on.
"Uh...Amy...What are you doing?" Ben said worried.
"I wanted to get more comfortable..." Amy smirked as she walked over to Ben and put her hands on his neck.
"Oh...Heh...All right..." Ben said awkwardly.
"Shh...We don't want to wake John up..." Amy whispered and she gave Ben a long kiss. Then she took his tie off and unbuttoned his shirt and she grabbed his hand and they walked into their room.
I hope everyone had a great Easter! I know this chapter was super long but it's necessary for what's going to happen later. And I haven't updated in a few days so this made up for it. Ha ha! By the way, I might be updating less than I usually do because I have a few weeks left of school and I want to get some of my grades up. What's going to happen next with Arnold? Will he pay for the broken window? Why did he leave his wallet? Grace and Ricky keep growing of course. Adrian and Omar keep getting closer and more confident about becoming parents. What's going to happen with Maria? When will Ben marry Amy? Will Ethan forgive Kathy and Brian? Will Kathy and Ethan be able to be friends? Is Grace feeling a little anxious about wanting to marry Ricky? What's going to happen next with Brandon and Chloe? I thought it would be good to have Grace and Kathleen bond some about Marshall. What's going to happen at the Lakers game? Will Ricky try to fix Jack up with Haley? Bob's trial will be coming up soon. Will using Debra help them to win the case? The dinner with Amy, Ben, Adrian, Omar, Max, and Shawna went pretty smoothly for the most part. Did Amy overreact to Adrian sleeping with Max at her baby shower?
