I have had a couple of OC's submitted already so thank you. I really could do with some evil ones right now as I already have quite a few good guys – I will still accept good guys but you've got a better chance of your character being used if it's a evil character.

Here's chapter 19 I hope you enjoy.

In conversations:

'- Translation of Poké Speech – No human unless otherwise stated can understand it. Ash can get the gist of what his Pokémon are saying due to his close bond with them.

"- Human speech

In the field Pikachu was still pinning Raichu down and both of them were blushing. Even though Raichu knew he could easily get out of this he was content to stay where he was as he gazed into Pikachu's eyes. The smaller mouse was feeling the same way as she met Raichu's gaze. After a while Raichu realised that Ash and Salem were probably worried about them since they had dashed out of the clearing quite a while ago.

'I guess we should go back to Ash and Salem.' Raichu finally said.

'Y-yeah you're right.' Pikachu replied.

Pikachu got off of Raichu and they both missed feeling the others body on theirs. Raichu quickly got up and led Pikachu back towards the clearing. During the journey neither of them said a word or even looked at each other as they were still remembering what had happened. Pikachu's blush intensified as she could still feel Raichu's strong body under her. Raichu suddenly blushed furiously as he remembered how good it felt to have Pikachu's body pressed against his.

Both of them were brought out of their thoughts when they walked into the clearing. They looked around for their trainers and saw that they were making lunch which surprised Raichu and Pikachu as they didn't think they'd been gone that long. They walked over to their trainers who stopped making lunch and looked at them.

"Hey guys we were just about to send Charizard to go and find you. So did you have fun?" Ash asked.

Raichu and Pikachu looked away and blushed which confused Ash and Salem.

"Are you two okay?" Ash queried.

They responded by nodding but Ash wasn't convinced. He thought about questioning them but decided against it. If it was something important they'd tell them.

"Did you manage to use Quick Attack?" Salem asked.

Pikachu was happy at the change of topic and looked at Salem answering her question with a nod. To prove it Pikachu then shot off at an insane speed. Everyone was impressed by the display however Pikachu suddenly stumbled and crashed into a tree. Pikachu looked at the ground and turned bright red as she heard a few of the others snigger, the laughter stopped when they saw the mouses ears droop. She felt someone place a hand on her shoulder which made her look up seeing Raichu stood next to her.

'Don't worry about what happened. It took me a while to master Quick Attack too.'

A smile came to Pikachu's face as she instantly felt better. She got up and immediately pulled Raichu into a hug which he quickly returned. Raichu was surprised when he felt Pikachu bury her head in his shoulder. Little did he know she was actually inhaling his scent and was instantly intoxicated by it. She was so busy revelling in Raichu's scent that she didn't notice him bury his head in her fur and inhale her scent too. Raichu suddenly broke the hug as he realised that what he had just done was actually quiet an intimate action. Pikachu was surprised and disappointed at what Raichu did but she was determined not to show it.

'Thank you for making me feel better.' she murmured

'I-it's no problem.'

They heard Ash and Salem call out to them and saw that everyone else had started eating. They quickly wandered over and started munching on their food. Ash quickly finished his sandwiches and looked at his Pokémon and almost all of them were happily enjoying their meals. The only exception was Raichu who was sat away from everyone and appeared deep in thought. The sight worried Ash as he hadn't seen Raichu act this strangely for a while. He walked over to his best friend who didn't seem to notice Ash's presence.

"Hey buddy what's wrong?" Ash asked.

Raichu jumped when he saw that Ash was sat next to him.

'When Pikachu hugged me I inhaled her scent.' Raichu said guiltily.

Ash knew a lot about Pokémon but this was a blind spot for him as he had no clue why that would Raichu act this way over that.

"So what's wrong with that?"

'You only do that when you want to mate with someone. D-do I love Pikachu?' Raichu said.

"Well when you look at Pikachu do you feel like a flock of Butterfree are fluttering in your stomach?"

'Yeah.'

"Then I think you are in love with her."

'So what do I do?'

"That's what I asked Dalamyr and all he said was that I need to work that our on my own. So I wish I could help you but I'm still trying to figure that out for myself. Come on let's get to training this afternoon I want you to work on Extreme Speed if you can."

'I'll give it a shot.'

Raichu wandered off and starting trying to increase his speed beyond a Quick Attack. Ash looked around and saw that all of his Pokémon had started training again, Salem's Pokémon on the hand were gathered around her. He was curious as to why they hadn't started to train again so he walked over to Salem.

"So Salem what are you planning on doing this afternoon?"

"There is a small lake not too far from here so I was thinking I could work with Chinchou as I really haven't given Chinchou the attention she deserves."

"Ok well do you mind if Wartortle goes with you? I'd like him to get faster in the water and this stream isn't really wide enough. It will also give me some time to figure out how to train him to use Rain Dance."

"Sure that's no problem."

"Hey Wartortle I want you to go with Salem to a lake and swim laps while I figure out how you use Rain Dance."

Wartortle nodded and gave a thumbs up.

"Right I'll see you both later."

"Yeah we'll probably be a couple of hours. Luxray, Galvantula, Mareep, Zebstrika come with me."

Usually Salem wouldn't bring them with her but since this wasn't a main path she wanted to be on the safe side just in case any dangerous Pokémon were nearby. Salem and her Pokémon left the camp and headed towards the lake that was located deeper in the forest. Once they got to the lake she gave her Pokémon their instructions and they went off to separate areas and started training. Salem turned to look at Chinchou who had been joined in the water by Wartortle. As she was about to start talking an explosion to the east made everyone abandon what they were doing and run towards where it came from to investigate what was going on.

(POV?)

Why are they doing this? It's not our fault that we didn't fall in love with who they wanted us to. I look back and see that our former friends and family are still chasing us with rage and disgust in their eyes. I turn my head to look at my mate and it's obvious that she is exhausted as she's breathing heavily and sweat is pouring off her. I stumble as an orb explodes next to me showering me in dirt which mixed with the blood oozing from some of my wounds. The long range assault continued as several more Hidden Power attacks are fired at us, we were able to dodge the majority of them however a sand coloured orb slammed into my mate. She screamed in pain and collapsed which made me stop running and go to her. I watch as she tries to get back up but her leg is badly wounded which causes her to collapse again.

'Leave me, save yourself.' she whispered weakly.

I don't try to stop the tears that are now streaming down my face. I get on my knees and look straight into her eyes which were filled with tears.

'I will not abandon you. We live together or we die together.'

She responds with a smile, the smile she only gives me. Knowing this will probably be my last chance to do this I push my lips against hers and she quickly responded. We broke apart and looked into each other's eyes.

'I love you.' I murmured.

She smiled weakly.

'I love you too.'

I stood up and faced our attackers. I can see the pure hatred now in their eyes and know that this is my final stand but I will put up the best damn fight I can. I fire a bolt of electricity at one of them making him collapse. The horde looked at their fallen ally and were enraged. They roared at me and then they charged commencing the battle.

(POV back to normal)

Salem, her Pokémon and Wartortle ran through the woods and finally found the battle they had heard. They could see a Minun standing protectively in front of a Plusle while he was being attacked by a large horde of Plusle and Minun. Salem took a closer look at the Plusle and Minun and could see that they were covered in cuts and bruises. As the group of Plusle and Minun went to attack again Salem had had enough and ran out with her Pokémon.

"Luxray Ice Fang, Mareep and Galvantula use Thunderbolt, Pikachu use Iron Tail, Zebstrika Flame Charge and Chinchou Ice Beam." Salem instructed.

Wartortle looked at Salem waiting for a command.

"Wartortle Aqua Bash." Salem called.

Luxray's fangs became encased in ice and he shot straight at one of the Minun. He bit down on the Minun's body which froze it instantly. Pikachu's tail turned metallic and she slammed it down on one of the Plusle's head making its eyes roll back and it collapsed. Mareep and Galvantula shot two bolts of electricity that hit five of the attacker which made them collapse. Zebstrika's body became surrounded in an orb of red and yellow flames and he charged at the horde crashing into them knocking four of them out instantly and Chinchou who was riding on Zebstrika's back shot a beam of ice which caught two of the Minun and knocked them both out. Wartortle then became surrounded in water and shot off towards the pack. He then lowered his head and arrowed in on one of the Minun crashing into it moments late which sent the Minun flying until he slammed into a boulder. After that it became a one sided fight with Salem's Pokémon and Wartortle beating back the charging Plusle and Minun all the while protecting the injured Pokémon.

Suddenly a Plusle was catapulted over the battle and was headed straight for the Minun. As he saw the Plusle headed his way and recognised her as his now former sister. Minun closed his eyes and prepared himself to feel a lot of pain however after waiting a few moments he was surprised that he had still felt no attack. He heard someone cry out in pain so he opened his eyes and saw the human had taken the attack and was now on her knees holding her stomach. His eyes widened in surprise, he looked down at his mate and saw that she was just as surprised as him. Minun saw his sister now looking to attack the human and was about to intercept her but the humans Luxray beat him to it and she was sent crashing into a tree. That was the last thing Plusle and Minun saw before they finally lost the battle with consciousness.

Ash and the rest of his Pokémon then came running out of the tree line. They had also heard the attacks but due to them being much further away they hadn't been able to get there in time. He saw Salem with a pained look on her face and he quickly ran to her side gently pulling her into a hug.

"Salem are you okay?" he asked worriedly.

Salem smiled and softly replied.

"I'm fine Ash. Help Plusle and Minun they're in bad shape."

Ash released Salem and took a quick look at them Plusle and Minun. As Ash checked Plusle and Minun's wounds Salem looked sadly at them. Although both were in bad shape Minun was in slightly worse condition, she wondered whether or not they'd be okay. She just hoped that Ash would be able to help them.

"Well they should be okay as long as we get them back to camp and clean and dress their wounds."

Ash picked up Minun as Ralts and Eevee jumped on to his shoulders and Salem picked up Plusle. They walked back to camp and Ash got Wartortle to wash the blood and grime off of them while he readied his medical supplies. Once Plusle and Minun were cleaned Ash gently dried them with a towel.

"Meganium can you use Sleep Powder on these two?"

The grass type came over and scattered some powder over the two electric Pokémon. Ash was relieved to see that they were now in a deep sleep as that meant that they wouldn't wake up while he attended to their injuries. Salem sat down next to Ash and helped him as he bandaged the worst of the wounds.

"Ash why would those other Plusle and Minun attack these two?" Salem asked.

"I'm really not sure. The only logical thing I can think of is that they were in a society where they weren't allowed to choose mates. They may have been promised to others and instead mated to each other."

"Is that common?"

"Well in some cases yes but not usually a species like Plusle and Minun. This is only a guess after all we don't even know if they are mates. We might be able to find out more in the morning."

Once they finished patching up Plusle and Minun Ash then turned his attention to Salem. Despite saying that she was fine Ash was reluctant to believe her as he had been hit with enough Pokémon attacks to know that they hurt. After realising that Ash wasn't going to stop until he showed him where she was hit she raised her shirt just enough so he could see her stomach. Ash winced when he saw a nasty looking bruise forming where the Plusle had hit her. He gently placed his hand on the area which made Salem let out a pained gasp.

"Arceus damn it that hurt."

"Sorry. Hey I've got a salve in my bag that my mum gave me. Do you want to put some of that on?"

"If you don't mind."

"Of course I don't."

Ash got up and rummaged through his backpack. He quickly found what he was looking for and pulled a bottle out. He walked back over to Salem and sat down next to her.

"Here you go." Ash said as he handed the bottle to Salem.

Ash got back up but was stopped by Salem who had grabbed his leg. He looked down at her and saw that she had a light blush on her face.

"Um Ash c-could you rub this on please? I-I can't get a very good view of the bruise."

"Okay could you lie down?"

Salem nodded and lied down. Ash then sat back down next to her and she handed the bottle to him. He removed the cap and put some of the salve on his hands. Salem shuddered as she felt Ash place his now cold hands on her stomach. She then sighed in content as she felt him gently move his hands across her stomach massaging her sore skin. Ash applied the salve quickly but gently however he was finding it difficult to fully focus on the task as he felt Salem's smooth skin under his hands. He finished the job relatively quickly and took his hands off her skin.

"That should do it."

Ash wiped his hands on a cloth and placed the bottle back in the backpack. Both trainers then got into their sleeping bags and quickly settled down to get some sleep.

During the night Plusle and Minun woke up and after getting over the initial pain they felt they got to their feet. They took a few moments to steady themselves and then walked over to the female human and got into her sleeping bag. Once inside they snuggled up to her and before falling back to sleep they both swore to stay by the humans side to repay her for saving them.

The next morning Ash was the first to wake up as usual, after stretching his limbs out he took a quick look around the clearing. His eyes finally settled on Salem and he smiled when he saw that Plusle and Minun had gotten into her sleeping bag and were snuggled against her.

Salem was the next to get up and was surprised when she felt two small bodies pressed against her. She looked down and saw Plusle and Minun snuggled up to her so she tightened her hold on the pair who were now awake.

"Morning you two, did you sleep well?" Salem asked.

Both sighed happily and nuzzled her again. Ash she looked at the Pokémon snuggled up to her Salem had an idea.

"Hey do you two want to come with me?"

Plusle and Minun nodded enthusiastically.

"Okay when we get to Mauville I'll send a couple of Pokémon back to Professor Juniper and catch you two."

The small electric types cheered and a big smile broke out on Salem's face. She looked around the clearing and wasn't surprised to see that Ash was preparing breakfast. She got up and walked over to Ash who smiled when he saw her.

"Good morning Salem."Ash said brightly.

"Morning Ash." Salem replied.

"How's your stomach?"

"Sore but it's feeling better."

"That's good to hear. Hey I was thinking that we should move on today."

"Why?"

"Well those Plusle and Minun were desperately trying to kill these two and we have no clue how many more of those Plusle and Minun there could be. For all we know you only took down a small percentage of their group so I'd rather not stay here to find out if they have a larger force."

"I hadn't thought about that. You're right we need to move on."

After eating breakfast Ash and Salem returned their Pokémon and packed camp. Salem then picked up Plusle and Minun while Eevee and Ralts were placed on Ash's shoulders. At first Ash thought he'd be relieved to have his hands free however a small part of him missed holding his daughters. He shrugged the thought aside and led the others onwards hoping to get at least halfway to the daycare by the time they stopped.

Meanwhile in an undisclosed location a man with a piercing blue eye and a blood red eye was sat behind a desk. There was a massive screen on the wall behind him. The words incoming transmission appeared on the screen and after a few moments a man who had black hair that fell to his shoulders, brown eyes and a long scar that ran from his forehead over his right and ran down to his lip appeared on the screen. Rethant looked at the screen and smirked when he saw one of his most powerful commanders.

"Commander Othil do you have any news that is useful?" Rethant asked

"Yes sir. We have just captured Regice which means we now possess all three of the legendary golems."

"Excellent work Commander. Has Regigigas appeared yet?"

"No sir he has not. However we shouldn't have to wait long now since we have all three of it's brethren."

"Hold your current position and wait for Regigigas. When he has been captured inform me."

"It shall be done sir."

Othil saluted and then the screen went black temporarily until a new face appeared on the screen. This one appeared to much more younger then Othil. He had short blonde hair and his eyes were blue.

"Have you found any of the legendaries yet Lieutenant Suladan?"

"Yes sir. We captured Latios and Latias and also managed to find the Mega Stones for them."

"I'm impressed. I had not expected you to capture the Eon's so quickly and to find the Mega Stones as well is an outstanding achievement."

"Thank you sir."

"Keep up the good work and I may have found my fourth Commander."

"Yes sir, we shall work around the clock to locate Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Deoxys and Jirachi. Suladan out."

Suladan saluted just like Othil had done and the transmission ended. A knock then came at the door.

"Enter." Rethant boomed.

The door opens and Echye walked in, Rethant glared at the boy.

"Echye, you failed me on the cruise ship and..."

Echye cut in which he would soon regret.

"Sorry sir but it wasn't…"

The usual calm look on Rethant's face vanished. He stood up and slammed his hands on his desk which made Echye quiver in fear.

"DON'T INTERUPT ME YOU MAGGOT!" Rethant yelled.

"I-I-I apologise s-s-sir." Echye whimpered.

Rethant sat back in his chair and continued to glare at Echye.

"You are truly pathetic Echye. I gave you an easy task and you managed to fuck it up. Look at yourself you stand there whimpering like a small child." Rethant remarked in disgust.

Rethant got up and walked over to a cabinet. He opened the cabinet and took out a cigar. He lit it and then sat back down in his chair.

"I could have you punished for your failure. I have done it before just ask Commander Anne when you leave if you don't believe me. But I'm not going to do that. What I'm going to do is give you a chance to redeem yourself. After researching the data we have I have discovered that the technology we have in our control collars at the minute is not strong enough to control Ksher. So you will intercept the Ketchum boy and steal the electrical upgrade that he is supposed to deliver."

"Y-yes sir I'll leave immediately."

"Do not fail me again." Rethant said darkly.

Echye gulped and practically ran out of the room. Rethant shook his head wondering why he allowed such a moron to join his elite organisation. He then pressed a button on the phone that sat on his desk.

"Send in Commander Anne."

A woman then walked into his office. She had emerald eyes and shoulder length brown hair. Her posture oozed confidence and the look in her eyes would have terrified many a person.

"You asked for me sir?"

"Yes, we both know that that incompetent fool Echye will fail again. So I am counting on you to steal the technology."

"Do you want me to attack Ketchum after Echye fails?"

"No. You will sneak into the Power Plant and steal a uniform from one of the technicians. When the technology is installed make a copy of it and bring it to me. We don't want to raise suspicion after the attack on Devon Corp and if we attacked Ketchum and stole the data from him it would not be helping us keep a low profile."

"I understand sir."

"Good."

Rethant looked to his laptop which had ancient pictures of Ksher on it and he smirked.

"Soon all the pieces will be in place and when we awaken Ksher Team Firestorm will be unstoppable."

"Have we found Ksher yet?"

"No we have not. I have diverted extra men to the excavation team as we need Ksher more than the other legendaries."

"Sir I wanted to inform you that my sister has just arrived in Hoenn so we should be wary."

"She is no threat to us." he replied dismissively.

"B-but she took down Team Plasma and became the Champion of Unova."

"Team Plasma were weak, their goal was laughable and their methods were pathetic. You were the only worthwhile member of that useless organisation. As for her becoming Champion she only did so because she didn't have to battle Alder. She battled that weakling Seth who had taken Alder's place after he resigned. If she had battled Alder he would have easily defeated her."

Anne didn't reply to Rethant. She had underestimated her sister several times while she had been a member of Team Plasma and her hatred for her goodie two shoes sister had blinded her judgement many times. This had led to some embarrassing defeats for her. Rethant's smirk disappeared and a sinister look that promised pain now took its place.

"Are you questioning my judgement Annette Cesarini?" Rethant asked threateningly.

She gulped and her eyes widened in fear. The last time he had said her full name and looked at her like that it had been because she had failed a mission by disobeying his orders and trying to complete the mission her way. She remembered that day vividly as several of her comrades had grabbed her and chained her to the wall. She had asked what was going on but one of them had smashed her face against the wall to silence her. Her upper clothing had then been ripped off leaving her upper body bare. She had never felt so embarrassed in her life and she had assumed that was why Rethant had done it but she was wrong. Rethant had then ordered the men to leave them. She looked back and saw a whip in his hand that was caked in dry blood. It was then that she had realised what he was going to do

"I-I'm sorry sir. P-please d-don't..."

"Shut the fuck up."

The first lash hit her and she had screamed in agony. He had kept lashing her and every lash got harder and harder. At first she had counted the lashes but after the twentieth lash she lost count. To this day she still didn't know how long she had been chained there until Rethant finally released her. When he did she had flopped to the ground as blood poured off her back and tears trickled down her face.

The scars that now littered her back were a constant reminder that you should never mess with Rethant and thanks to that she had never failed a mission since.

She came back to the present day and saw Rethant still looking at her.

"Of course not sir. You're right she is no threat. I shall deal with her when the time comes."

The usual smirk that Rethant wore reappeared.

"Good now get out and go complete your mission."

Anne gave a salute and quickly exited not wanting to anger Rethant any more than she had already.

Notes

I know we didn't get to the daycare like I said and technically we didn't have a battle – although the fight against the Plusle and Minun it a battle but I felt that Team Firestorm hadn't appeared for a while so I added them into this chapter.

Next chapter we will get to the daycare, Echye will probably make his move which mean there will be a battle and we might make it to Mauville – although knowing me I'll think of something else I want to add and everything will be pushed on to the next chapter.
