~May 29, 2001, Charming Cathedral~

Amelia sat back in the oversized chair her tanned legs tucked protectively underneath her bright blue eyes staring blankly at the lush flowers and extravagant landscaping around the pristine pool. She recalled the designer who had painstakingly assisted her mommy dearest in the remodel of the area shortly after failed marriage number two. When Amelia had inquired about the stranger staying overnight on a frequent bases her mother had explained to her it was a rebound affair. Being only five years old at the time, she understood not one word that her mother had uttered from her red satin stained lips. Once the renovation was complete and the affair concluded Abby aka mommy dearest was again chasing the social whirlwind leaving Amelia behind with Marie.

Closing her eyes tightly she felt as if she were already a failure to her unborn child. How could she possibly raise a child when the only role model she had ever had was the paid help. Her mind drifted to Mike he was no better equipped although he certainly thought that he could balance it all out. She hung her head low in deep thought perhaps he could but the reality was the only thing that made their upbringing different was he had spent time locked up for robbery and she was rich. Otherwise, he had no parents either just foster homes full of people who like her staff were paid to do a job. Amelia thought of Marie for a moment and felt guilty at the thoughts that her burned through her mind. Marie had done everything possible to fill in the gaps not because she had to but because she loved her.

The thought of becoming a parent wasn't the only thing weighing heavily on her mind, as she took in every detail of the surroundings yet nothing at all. Extending her hand out to the pink coffee mug the aroma of the French roast filled her senses. Marie had told her it wasn't good for a pregnant woman to drink a lot of caffeine. Her brow crinkled she felt like she had already given up so much for the intruder that had taken over her body she refused to give up one more thing.

She wished MIke were beside her and they were in Laguna. The news delivered from Jax's frantic voice when he called had changed their lives. She had known that even before Mikes emerald-green eyes had locked with her own. His absence from the cathedral and time at the TM over the last few days proved just that. Things had rapidly shifted and changed. The thought of Clay Morrow dead at the height of his reign had shaken the entire town of Charming. While it was true that many looked the other way, where the MC was concerned there was still a mutual respect. SAMCRO had helped many of the citizens out in Charming in more way than would ever be made public. In areas that the law had failed them even a naïve girl like herself knew that much.

"Hey beautiful." The sound of the his boots on the stone of the pool patio echoed as he drew closer to her.

Amelia knew she should probably send him away but with world crumbling down around them, she found his presence soothing and familiar. The sad truth she needed someone who understood her and Aiden Janowitz was the only one available that fit the bill other than Mike.

"Hey A." She spoke the words softly immediately regretting using only his initial when she saw the hopeful gleam in his eye. It had always been an intimate gesture when they used just their initials.

The sound of her voice calling him by the initial nicknames they had created for each other the first day they met created a smile that spread across his face and he felt a warmth coursed through him. A warmth that had not surfaced in a very long time. Sitting his own coffee mug down on the small table beside her chair, he sat down in a rough plop next to her. He watched her delicate features silently for just a few moments.

Amelia laid her head back rolling it to the side capturing his eyes her own glistened back at him as she smile radiantly.

"You feeling ok?" He spoke the words as he reached out brushing her check lightly. "You're not sick this morning are you?"

"No, I feel pretty good actually. Marie just arrived from Laguna yesterday Mike sent for her." She could see a small frown forming on Aiden's lips at the mention of Mike's name. "He thought it would be best with what's happened and us staying in Charming for a while that she be here." She paused for a moment realizing she was over explaining a nervous habit she often caught herself doing. "Anyway she is having me eat dried toast and drinking orange juice before getting up. Sounds weird but seems to help."

"Yeah Mike announced to everyone yesterday about the baby." Aiden looked down at the ground for a moment before returning his gaze to her.

"He did what?" Her eyes narrowed as she asked the question.

"Announced to all the brothers. I mean I think everyone knew because of all the bullshit that happened but guess he wanted to make it official." Aiden knew his last words had a hint of sarcasm to them he couldn't deny he was resentful. It had never been his intention to have a baby with Amelia, but he wished to God that it were his kid.

Amelia sat for a moment silently. She knew the rumors were circulating around the MC since the unfortunate argument that had ensued in the early hours of the morning but she had thought they were going to keep the baby on as much of a need to know basis as possible. They had not agreed to announcing the officially and Amelia had tried to make him understand she wasn't sure she wanted to continue the pregnancy. She realized her words had obviously fallen on deaf ears.

"A?" Aiden arched his brow studying her expression curiously. That's what I thought he did it to be a douche; he attempted to control his smirk as the words entered his mind.

"Yes." She spoke the words to the ground feeling suffocated.

"You want to get out of here?" Aiden knew the look on her face he had seen it before she was feeling out of balance like a trapped animal.

"Do you really think that's such a great idea with all the chaos going on?" She tilted her head peering into his brown eyes wanting nothing more than to disappear if only for a few hours.

"Come on babe." Aiden stood up extending his hand a coy grin gracing his features.

"Where are we going?" Amelia rose from the chair taking his hand the smile once again returning to her face.

"It's a surprise." Aiden could feel his heart pounding in his chest as he walked back towards the house with her. "Let's take the bike ok?"

"Ok." Her smile beamed even brighter it had been a while since she had been out on a bike even with Mike. "I'll just change really quick."

Aiden eyes roamed over her body she was wearing her usual pool attire a two-piece swimsuit with a cotton sundress. He smiled at how perfect the outfit would be for where they were going. "Actually put on some of those cute little canvas shoes you love wearing so much grab two towels and you are perfect."

"Two towels?" Her eyes grew wide as she asked the question a faint idea of where they might be going entering her mind.

"Aiden how are you this morning?" Marie called from the kitchen as they walked by.

"Great Marie. I knew the coffee tasted good this morning and not watered down." He chuckled at his recollections of Amelia's inability to make coffee or anything else edible or drinkable for that matter. Strutting over he hugged the shorter woman tight.

Returning the embrace, she peered over at Amelia her eyes narrowing in on the change in her demeanor. She had been so sullen and unhappy since news of the baby but today she appeared happy. Marie paused for a moment studying her closer. Yes, today she appeared 16 again Marie sighed heavily unsure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. "Where are you two off too?"

"I am not 100% sure Aiden's says it's a surprise." Amelia headed off in the direction of the stairs she could feel his gaze upon her as she traveled upwards.

Marie watched as his eyes followed her intently and she realized Amelia wasn't the only one who looked as if she had gone back in time. Aiden Janowitz looked like that 18-year-old boy again. She sighed heavily as he disappeared following her up the stairs.

The bike roared as he hit the throttle increasing speed, the day was perfect for a leisurely non-club related ride and to assure that occurred he had stopped by his house to change out of his cut and had called the TM leaving word with Happy he needed to run into Stockton for the day to visit his father. The visit with his father didn't sound too farfetched given the fact that Clay had just been murdered two days earlier and it had been six months since he had visited Lenny. Aiden knew really in all actuality he should be on his way to Stockton and then returning to the Clubhouse to help with the funeral preparations. Then there was the new position to consider Sgt. At Arms. He grimaced for a moment until he felt her dainty arm wrap firmly around his waist and her headrest on his shoulder for a moment. Her perfume filled the air around him and in that moment he decided as bad as things were at the club with the loss of Clay none of it mattered a damn to him.

A radiant smile beamed on Amelia's face as soon as they turned off the main highway onto the old dirt road. She knew immediately where they were going and found herself truly excited for the first time in two weeks as the bike came to a stop beside the large tree.

Aiden slide off the bike stretching for a moment just as he always did before removing the helmet from Amelia's head watching as her snowy white hair cascaded around her face and fell upon her shoulders. Helping her off the bike he reached into to the saddlebag pulling out the two towels and blanket he kept stashed there as well as the sack of snacks Marie had prepared and insisted they bring. He watched as Amelia ran towards the water. Spreading the blanket under the tree he looked at the water in the distance smiling contented, he walked up behind her placing his arms around her torso.

"Do you remember this place?" He whispered in her ear.

"Yes." She responded softly looking at the large swimming hole on the outskirts of Charming a place that their group had frequented. Amelia could almost see them all sitting around laughing and joking it seemed so long ago and in some ways just as if it were yesterday. She turned still in his arms her chest looking around him at the large tree where he had spread the blanket out. "Is it still there?"

"Why don't you go see." He released her reluctantly watching as she ran over to the tree her snowy white hair whipping lightly in the breeze. Her fingers began to trace the etched letters in the bark.

"It's still here Aiden!" She exclaimed excitedly turning her head and beaming a smile at him again.

He slowly approached her once again wrapping his arms around her waist as she stood looking at the tree trunk, as if she were enchanted. There carved into the bark were two letters and a word A Loves A with a heart around them. "Do you remember when I did that?"

"Of course I do!" Amelia answered gleefully her fingers still tracing the letters. "We had been dating a couple of weeks and you brought me here."

"Do you remember what else?" He leaned into the curvature of her neck once again his voice just a whisper the faint smell of her Shea butter shampoo swirling around in his head.

Turning once again to face him, she felt his hand drift around her body coming to rest on the small of her back. She knew she should tell him to stop but it felt so good it somehow made the rest of the ugliness and uncertainly surrounding her dissipate.

"Yes I do." Her words almost inaudible as she looked into his intense brown eyes. "You told me you loved me for the first time right here and then carved our initials into the tree." Amelia felt breathless for a moment.

"Do you remember the rest?" Aiden knew he was pressing into an area he shouldn't but the growing need for her was building in him fast.

"We made love under the tree." The words inaudible as she mouthed them silently their eyes remained fixated on one another.

Aiden placed his hand under her chin tilting her face up brushing his lips against hers.

~Clubhouse December 12, 2001, 10:40pm~

"Tara." Jax filled his lungs with enough cleansing air to utter her name a second time after standing speechless for what seemed an eternity.

"You're not welcome here sweetheart." The sarcastic tone drifted from behind.

"Gem!" Jax spoke only her name gritting his teeth as his eyes narrowed in on her.

"She lost her privileges the day she …." Gemma began.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Jax interjected his loud tone echoing around the clubhouse that had fallen silent. "I am the President of this club and it would be to your benefit to remember that." The anger and sarcasm emitted from his tone as he spoke placing great emphasize on the last words.

Tara leisurely turned her body to face the widowed matriarch. "Best you learn the chain of command now Gemma it will ease the friction when Jax eventually replaces you with an Old Lady." Her tone lacking any hint of anger as her hazel eyes twinkled.

"You cunt!" Gemma lashed out balling her fist as she jumped forward the attack halted by Opie's massive arms.

"Gemma you have had too much to drink and need to get ahold of yourself." Opie spoke the words sternly as Jax jaw twitched in rage.

"Get her out of here!" Jax hissed the words to Opie turning to Tara. "We need to talk privately." He spoke the words in a lower voice nodding towards the chapel doors.

"I couldn't agree more Jax." Tara replied confidently their eyes locking.

Chibs burst into the door of the clubhouse. "Jackie Boy th' deputy is needin' tae spick tae ye."

Jax's eyes shot to the TV monitors above the bar Deputy Dipshit David Hale stood beside his bronco with his arms crossed. "What the fuck? Aiden go talk to Captain American will you?" Jax called over to his brother.

"Gladly." Aiden released Amelia walking towards the door a wry smile upon his face as he cracked his knuckles stopping at Chibs shaking his head from side to side.

"Jackie ye need tae hear whit he has tae say." Chibs spoke the words in a deeper more profound voice.

Jax shifted his eyes back to Tara wanting nothing more than, to take her in his arms and kiss her right there. "Babe we need to talk promise me you won't leave before we can talk. Please." His clear blue eyes implored.

"I can wait for a while but if it takes too long you can find me tomorrow." Tara responded her voice revealing no emotion.

Fury rose in him as he glanced that the TV screen again. "This better be fucking necessary or I am going to kick a lot of ass! Motherfucker!"

~Charming, Cathedral, December 14, 2001, 9:00am~

"Can I help you?" Marie opened the door to find an unfamiliar man standing before his in work clothes.

"Ah! Yes, I am here to check on the alarm system a Mr. Mike Calhoun called wanting our service to come by." The man smile beamed at her.

"Mike requested you come?" She questioned cautiously staring at the young bearded man before her.

"Yes, he wanted to make sure the security system was sound something about the lady of the house being home alone often." The man arched his brow. "Is he here at the moment?" His eyes shifted towards the Black Harley parked in the long driveway. "Perhaps he could do the walk-through with me."

"No, he is not here now." She remained fixed in the doorway.

"I will be checking the upstairs system as well as the downstairs. I have the layout and locations we keep on file at the office, and here are my credentials you can't be to careful these days." He showed her the information flashing another smile her direction.

"Thank you." Marie acknowledged his vibrant smile with one of her own stepping to the side allowing him entrance. "Your accent is very interesting are you from around here?"

"Just moved into the area a little less than a year ago. Do you mind if I start with the upstairs and work my way down?" He glanced towards the elaborate white staircase. The home was truly spectacular and he knew many of the items in the entry way were collectors.

Marie looked nervously towards the upstairs for a moment. "That will be fine the lady of the house is in her suite avoid that area. It's the last door on the right end of the wing." Marie replied.

"I will. Where I need to be is in the opposite direction but I will be quiet and stay away from the doorway." He responded in a respectful demeanor as he made his way up the stairs.

"Who the hell are you?" The masculine voice from behind him unexpected.

Inhaling deeply his lips curved to a smile as he turned facing the man behind him. "Mr. Calhoun?"

"What?" Aiden ran his fingers through his curly brown hair.

"Are you not Mike Calhoun?" He asked his eyes studying the man's disheveled appearance.

"Fuck no." His dark brown eyes narrowed as he spoke. "Who the hell are you?"

"I was called by Mr. Calhoun to inspect the security system to make sure it was working properly." He smiled attempting to break the frosty reception from the stranger standing before him. "I would be more than happy to show you my credentials just as I did the woman who let me in."

"Aiden who are you talking to?" Amelia burst into the hallway a thin pale pink nightshirt clinging to her.

"I am very sorry the woman who let me in said the master bedroom was at the other end of the hall." His eyes peered past the girl looking into the open bedroom door. The décor of the room reminding him of a something a teenager would select. "I am actually done here." He turned closing the metal door that housed all the wiring for the security system. "I can see myself out." He picked up his clipboard and small bag of tools from the floor. "My apologies again." He smiled at the blonde noticing how quickly she diverted her eyes to the ground.

Aiden looked at Amelia his eyes full of confusion as the sound of the man's whistling lingered in the air.

Closing the door to the Van Conor started the ignition pulling from the long driveway out onto the street only stopping once he had rounded the corner. He reached up pulling the itchy hair from his chin he used to disguise his face with the sound of his cell phone interrupting his work.

~New York~

The picture laid upon Samantha D' Angelis elegant desk the face staring back at her more of an insult than a slap in the face would be. It had been years since she had allowed such animosity to fill her over the situation she picked up the phone tapping her long spindly fingers on the stony buttons. The sound of the ring tone almost soothing.

"Yes." His low baritone voice filled her ear.

"Are we ready?" She asked

"Yes." He responded.

"It is time to make the move." The detached words fell from her mouth.

"Following which set of instructions?" He inquired.

"Mine." She replied hanging up the phone immediately.

~12:00PM Teller-Morrow Parking Lot~

"That coke you asked about I think it belonged to the Marchese's." Nicky's low husky voice filled Mike's ear.

"Fuck me." He spit out the words.

"Son, you got yourself into trouble?" Nicky asked his brushy brow arching as he stared at a picture of his SAMREN brothers on the wall across from his desk.

"No, everything's fine just shit here is turned upside down." Mike replied closing his eyes as he spoke the words.

"Yeah we are feeling the rumble of Charming all the way here in Reno." Nicky responded. "Is he not going to retaliate? Seems he is letting to much time pass with no message. Now that sister of his is missing."

"Not sure who in the fuck is behind it all." Mike spoke his voice monotone. Agreeing with Nicky but not voicing it. Blood should have already been shed.

"Well, if the Marchese's are behind it thinking SAMCRO had a hand in the coke heist you can rest assured you have several hit men with scopes pointed your direction as we speak." Nicky reached out for his pack of cigarettes as he spoke the words.

"Whole mess wrecks of fuckin' hit man to me." Mike closed his eyes for a moment breathing in fresh air.

"The whistler is back on U.S. soil again Meek found traces." Nicky responded. "Deadly motherfucker and bitch of it is no one knows what he looks like."

"Shit." Mike responded feeling his temples begin to throb.

~1:00pm~

His red Porsche rounded the curb sharply the cigarette dangling from his mouth burning slowly. Conor normally didn't smoke in his car but the week so far had busted his balls literally so he had broken his rule and polluted his car with the dirty disgusting smoke. The rental house came into full his stony eyes glared at the driveway and street covered over with Harley's. Rolling the car into the driveway between the lineups Conor killed the ignition opening the door cautiously.

"You should have told me I was hosting your annual bike rally at my home would have provided a warmer welcome." His eyes focused on the blonde haired President.

"My sister went missing fuck wad." Jax spit the words stepped closer. "Car was found with her blood splattered all over the drivers seat."

"You are in my personal space Jackson." Conor spoke the words unemotionally at the angered man standing toe to toe with him.

"I'm about to be in a lot more motherfucker!" Jax raised his voice. "My SISTER the one you fucked over is missing and motherfucker I think you know where she is. Your spotless record I dont believe it."

"Me?" Conor arched his brow. "My sincerest condolences for your situation but I have not seen your sister privately since May."

Happy walked up behind Jax his eyes narrowed. "How about I start carving your preppy ass up motherfucker and we will see if you are singing the same tune."

Mike smirked, as he stood leaned up against his Harley studying Conor Mc Gregory.

"Carve me up?" Conor inquired calmly. "I am just a simple business man."

Happy lunged forward grabbing Conor by the collar of his Pea Coat. "Yeah well I ain't Happy." He snarled before releasing him throwing him into the door of the sports car.

"Nice car man." Aiden walked around Porsche letting out a whistle. "Juice ain't this a beauty?"

"Sure is." He nodded smirking back at him.

"Looks like it could use a little something special though don't it." Aiden nodded back smirking.

"You and your biker trash brothers get the fuck off my property or you will regret it." Conor spoke evenly.

Mike watched as his eyes changed from blue to almost a dark black and he recognized what dwelled in him immediately. Nicky's words came into his mind.

"Juice brother hand me that bat would you?" Aiden's smirk grew with each word.

"Sure thing Aid." Juice tossed him the bat.

The sound of glass shattering filled the air as the Louisville slugger made contact with the headlights of the sports car. "Yeah that's better." Aiden replied locking eyes with Conor.

"You will pay for that." Conor responded flatly.

"Is there a problem here?" The familiar voice drifted to them from the street.

"Shit." Jax grumbled under his breath.

~2:30PM~

Amelia leaned up against her Audi waiting for the men to exit the police station. A small smile broke across her lips as she saw his handsome image appear through the glass doors and she rushed over wrapping her arms around him.

"Hey baby," His smile broadened as his eyes looked over her hungrily, "You didn't have to come down." He kissed her on the forehead.

"Well, I got word you were in jail." Amelia shook her head as she spoke the words. "I didn't know if you needed to be bailed out."

"Just a little misunderstanding over some headlight adjustments is all." Mike chuckled. "I could use a ride back to the TM though prospect came and got my bike when the good deputy Hale made us come down."

"Headlight adjustment?" Amelia's brow rose. "Why didn't they just come by the garage? I don't understand."

"Hey A." Aiden winked as he strolled by.

"Aiden brother next time you bring the fuckin' ball bat out make it count and cave in a skull would you?" Tig hollered from across the parking lot his sadistic laughter filling the air.

Amelia looked at Aiden shocked. "What does he mean by that?" She looked back at Mike her face turning red with anger.

"Calm down A it was nothing." Aiden held up his hand.

"Nothing?" her blue eyes glared daggers. "You never change do you?" She turned back to Mike. "You? Wipe the smirk off your face. I am about to have a baby … your baby remember the one you begged for! What am I supposed to say to our child when you are locked way in jail?"

"Hey darlin.'" Jax winked walking by.

"Don't darlin' me Jax." She huffed turning her attention back to the two men in front of her. "I am not going through this shit Mike. If I had wanted to go through this shit day in and day out I would have never left Aiden to begin with."

"Shits gonna hit the fan brother with that trio over there." Opie mumbled to Jax as they continued to walk by.

"I got my own shit hitting the fan brother. They will just have to figure it out." Jax grumbled thinking of Tara frustrated they hadn't even had a proper talk yet much less reunion. She had left after Hale delivered the news about Hannah telling him she didn't want his partial attention when they talked. He could come by her fathers house when he could focus entirely on her. Jax was dumbfounded at her matter a fact demeanor she had never talked to him in that way before and in all honesty, he found it sexy as hell.

"I… I … mean." Amelia red face grew redder now in embarrassment.

"Hey doll you got room for me also we could be a square." Tig walked by drawing a square with his two index fingers.

"Tig." Mike narrowed his eyes in warning.

"i'm Done! Get your own fucking ride back to the TM." Amelia turned stomping off.

"What the fuck…" Mike mumbled watching her long blonde hair sway from side to side, as she walked away.

"Bet you will think long and hard before knocking her up again." Aiden chided slapping Mike on the back.

"Shut the fuck up asshole if you didn't make her smile I would bury your ass 10 feet under." Mike growled regretting his forced truce with the cocksucker at times like these.

~Teller-Morrow Parking Lot, 3:00PM~

"Christ, woman you drive me insane, come here." He reached out pulling her into his body closing the gap between them, "I miss you, Amelia." He breathed the words on her warm inviting lips before kissing her deeply. They had made up on the drive over.

"I miss you baby more than you realize." Her heart ached as she spoke the words. "Let's make up for lost time a quiet dinner, followed by a warm bath, and then maybe…" A radiant smile that reminded him of summertime flashed across her face, as she eyed him playfully.

"Amelia, I can't ….." He sighed regretfully as he lay his forehead against hers the look of disappoint clouding over the sunny day that had been in clear blue eyes.

"Mike, please tell me you don't have club business tonight. I mean isn't one arrest for the day enough." The smile now completely extinguished from her face, the cool December breeze biting at them. She missed the beach, she missed the warmer carefree summer days, she hated winter, she hated Charming, and most of all she hated being 8 months pregnant. Whoever said that pregnancy was an amazing time was clearing an insane person she found herself literally counting the minutes until the baby arrived.

"Technically it wasn't an official arrest no one pressed charges." He sighed his attempt at humor falling flat between them. "I'm so sorry baby all that shit the other night with Hannah's disappearance and Tara arriving its fucking mayhem." Mike pulled her as close as possible breathing in the scent of her body wash, and shampoo. The familiar smell intermingled with another familiar scent he had been locked in a jail cell with and the faint smell of cigarettes. He pulled his head back eyeing her curiously. Amelia didn't smoke cigarettes and she certainly didn't shower in a men's body wash.

"What?" She questioned tilting her head.

"Nothing." He forced a smile.

"So do they really think Hannah is…?" Unable to complete the sentence the thought of her high school friend dead seemed surreal. They hadn't even had time to absorb the fact that Tara had returned to Charming. Amelia lowered her head her eyes becoming fixated on the black pavement her mouth curving downward.

"I don't know baby." Mike placed his hand on the loose fabric of her sweater he felt like he was losing the only thing he ever loved other than the club. Pregnancy and Amelia mixed about as well as oil and vinegar. He found himself wishing to hell he could roll back time and change everything. The baby had seemed like a good idea at the time a way to bring them closer together. He sighed heavily most importantly Mike had thought the baby would keep Aiden pushed away make him realize it was over. Instead, to Mike's dismay the baby along with the needs of the club that kept him away had somehow been the renewal of their friendship. Motherfucker, he cursed silently at everything.

She raised her head to find his beautiful green eyes studying her his hand protectively splayed over her belly warming her. Amelia knew in her heart nothing that had occurred since their return to Charming was his fault he was torn between his loyalty to a club that had given him a family when he had none and his love for her. Amelia recalled the day he told her helping the club would only be temporary and now it seemed a path with no ending in sight. More and more she was seeing a side to Mike that hadn't been there since they had first meet. She looked at him longingly wanting the man back that skillfully moved between both worlds without either ever colliding. Better yet, she found herself wishing that the MC would just disappear from their lives. He was changing before her very eyes the club becoming increasingly more important requiring more of his attention than it ever had before. She reached up pressing her palm to the leather that was stealing the man she loved slowly. Closing her eyes for a moment Aiden's words about Mike being built differently than them rang loudly in her mind. Amelia could see the dark clouds that had loomed over him in the beginning of their lives together hovering above again.

Aiden was another huge complication that had come with Charming a complication she hadn't anticipated. Since the cemetery incident, the two men had come to some sort of truce that Amelia didn't even pretend to understand. They were decent to one another but she could still feel the underlying current of friction. Amelia cast her eyes back down to the ground for a moment she had allowed her relationship with Aiden to borderline inappropriate. He knew her though so well as well as Mike and in some ways even better. With their world flipped in many directions, she had allowed him back into her life and emotions that were becoming undeniable came with that. She grimaced at the jolt that hit her suddenly.

"Did you feel that I think he kicked?" Mike smiled at the feeling against the palm of his hand.

"Did I feel it? Yes, Mike it hurt like shit." She couldn't help but smile at his excitement, "I am still mad at you about it being a boy." She puffed her lips out in a fake pout.

"No one told you to go buy all that girl stuff. I told you it was going to be a boy." He leaned into her his smile growing wider at the shift in the mood. He brushed his lips against hers. "God I have missed that so much."

"What baby." She breathed against his moist lips the sound vibrating. "What have you missed?"

"Your smile. This." He moved his hands up cupping her face kissing her as the need built in him. "I love you so much Amelia."

"Mike I love you. I really do." Amelia buried her head in his chest.

"Amelia let's leave here as soon as the baby's born and go back to Laguna." He lowered his lips to her head the feeling of her silken blonde hair tickling his chin.

"Are you serious?" A brilliant smile beamed across her face as she looked up.

"Yes." He replied firmly. "When the baby gets here that's it I am out. There's something else I want."

"Anything?" She whispered.

"Marry me tomorrow." He replied.

She looked into his green eyes stunned getting married hadn't come up since they had left Laguna. "Tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow we can go to the courthouse and just do it." He looked deep into her eyes. "We should have long before now."

"Mike I need to tell you something…" Amelia looked into his green eyes praying he wouldn't hate her.

"What?" His eyes narrowed as an uncomfortable silence settled between them.

"Call came brother." Jax called over as he headed to his bike.

"Don't go. Please come home with me." Her voice pleaded.

"Baby I have to go this is important but I promise you just a few more weeks." Mike nodded his head, as she looked at him hopeful. "Go home I'll be there as soon as possible I promise."

Amelia kissed him quickly, "Be safe," She watched as he walked towards his bike.

"Babe, I thought you were getting a new car?" Mike called out to her as he started up the Harley.

"The baby can ride in this car." She shot him a disapproving look as he shook his head mouthing the word 'No' silently. "We shall see, Caveman." Amelia replied in a sassy tone. Mike winked as he revived the engine following Jax, Opie, Happy and Tig out the black iron gates.

Amelia turned to open her car door noticing Aiden, Juice, Chibs and a few prospects heading her way.

"You aren't going with them? She asked as he walked by.

"No babe. We got business over at Lu's fuckin' crazy porn stars." He spoke immediately regretting his choice of words the memory of Roxy and the problems she created entering his mind. "Jax also wants some of us here looking out after you, Tara, Gem, and Donna."

"What do you mean?' Amelia's eyes grew wide with concern.

"Nothing for you to be concerned about baby." Aiden walked over kissing her on top of the head. "Just go home set the alarm ok?"

She frowned for what seemed the 100th time looking down at the ground.

"Hey listen Mikes going to be in Oakland late I'll come over when I get shit settled at Lu's and keep you company ok?" He spoke the last words lowered.

"I don't know Aiden." Amelia mumbled unsure how much longer the already blurred lines were going to hold. "Mike wants to get married tomorrow." She blurted out of nowhere.

"What?" Aiden asked. "I thought you had decided to wait until after the baby was born." He knew that was just a month away but he had hoped to delay or better yet prevent the inevitable as long as possible.

"I have to tell him Aiden." She whispered.

He walked closer motioning at Juice that he would meet them over by the bikes. "What are you going to tell him A? There is nothing to tell."

"Aiden you know that's not true." Amelia's blue eyes peered up at him before looking away.

"Shit. Listen I'll come over in a couple of hours and we will figure it out OK." He brushed a kiss on her forehead before walking away.

~5:45PM, Oakland~

Cheap wood paneling lined the walls of the Mayan temple as they called it. To Mike it reminded him of smoking pot in his foster parents basement when he was 12. The small, dark room was dank and musty, reeking of cigars. The Latin's loved their stogies, Mike thought to himself, must be a dick thing. He knew it was always a dick thing with these guys. He smiled faintly at the thought, the smile fading quickly as he stared into the eyes of some taco with a scar across his forehead. Jax sat to his right, on his right sat Opie. Tig and Happy stood on guard behind them. Tension filled the air as neither side of the table had any love for the other.

"My sister is missing fuck head, Otto's been attacked at Stockton and then there is the matter of Clay and Piney." Jax hissed the words. "If you are involved you are going to pay with your own blood and if you aren't involved but have Intel you better start singing like a fuckin' canary cause I am getting tired of this shit." He pressed his lips together grinding his teeth for a moment as his blue eyes glowered at the Mayan President.

"Ese a pale mamacita goes missing you look to us." Jose Gonzales the current Mayan President rolled his eyes towards the ceiling. "Accusation are insulting." He curled his upper lip up.

Mike barely heard the words his mind drifted to his talk with Nicky earlier Conor Mc Gregory was haunting him. He inhaled the shitty smoke attempting to clear his mind. Amelia and the baby, and getting out of the life for good entered his mind next. It was dangerous to drift in these meetings and he pushed the thoughts from his head.

"Fucker!" Jax jumped up reaching across the small table for the man's throat only to find himself looking down the barrel of the VP's gun.

Opie and Mike stood there weapons drawn immediately. Tig and Happy already had guns pointed before they ever cleared the table.

"Put your gun down." Opie spoke the words cold and callus. "We will have you splattered all over that back wall before you even squeeze the trigger."

"See what I mean about accusations Ese they can lead to fatal misunderstandings." The Mayan President paused for a moment nodding to the VP to lower his gun a cheeky smile crossing his dark face.

Opie, Tig, Happy and Mike lowered their guns in response.

"Besides we all know that the white-haired pussy is the primo stock anyway. Isn't right Ese?" His gaze locked with Mikes as he asked the question.

"What did you say?" Mikes eyes zeroed in on his black beady ones a sense of dread rising from the pit of his stomach as his finger curled around the trigger of his Sig at his side.

"The blonde Ese the one you are fuckin' word on the street she is dying tonight but not before she is fucked well." He responded an eerie cackle escaping his lips. "Why do you think we called you here tonight? Not to negotiate but to get you all out of Charming."

"MOTHERFUCKER!" Mike raised his gun and squeezed the bullet lodged itself in the center of the Mexicans forehead.

~5:46PM, Charming Cathedral~

Amelia heard the doorbell chime throughout the Cathedral as she sat on the black granite kitchen counter top in front of the refrigerator, licking chocolate icing off her fingers from the cupcake in her hand, as Marie cooked dinner. The motherly housekeeper looked over at Amelia with her fingers in her mouth, a broad smile crossing her face it reminded her of when she was a child. She missed having a baby around, and was ecstatic that one was on the way.

"Are you expecting someone Amelia? I set the code on the gate earlier." Marie inquired.

"It's Aiden, Marie he has the code." She smiled before turning her attention back to the treat in hand. "He's going to have dinner with us keep me company till Mike gets home." She peeled the cupcake wrapper back while calling the words over her shoulder.

Marie looked back at Amelia smiling, before exiting the kitchen. They had seen a lot of Aiden lately, unfortunately a lot more than they had seen of Mike, and that concerned her. She knew Mike and Amelia were in love, she could see it when they were together. It lit up the entire room, but it was clear that since returning to Charming stress had entered their lives for the first time in the little over two years they had been together. Marie knew Mike was a good man, but more and more Amelia was taking a back seat to the club. She recalled how he had even forgotten a Doctor's appointment two weeks earlier. It had been Aiden who had shown up that night to comfort a crying Amelia. Lost in thought Marie never even noticed the gun pointing at her when she opened the door.

The sound echoed from the foyer, and Amelia sat stunned for a moment, Christ that sounded like a gun. The sound of many heavy footsteps in the entryway drawing closer to her with each step. She darted to the drawer across from her where Mike had stashed a gun for her use just in case her hand never reached the knob before being halted abruptly. The fingertips dug into her flesh turning her around forcibly. Amelia blue eyes grew wide with fear for the first time in over two years.

"How … How…. did you get in here?" Amelia's heart pounded in her chest as she looked in the face of the big man that had attempted to rape her on the beach the night she met Mike.

"Where's the fucking Nomad, bitch?" One of them asked from behind him. She recognized his voice from that fateful night also.

"W..h..o?" Her attempt to control her voice from quivering failing miserably.

"The fucking Nomad, you little cunt." The big man spit the words in her face.

"I don't know. I mean … He just showed up out of no where that night … I didn't … I don't know him," He released her arm, and Amelia felt relief followed by the most excruciating pain she had ever experienced shooting through her abdomen as he punched her hard. She immediately fell to the ground breathless.

"Whore, we know he's your man. We have seen you together." He paused looking at her hands clutched around her abdomen. "Saw you two fucking on the beach few months back rubbed a good one out while you two were getting it on." The other two men in the room laughed loudly.

"Tell us where he is!" The shorter man walked over grabbing Amelia's hair making her look at him as he spoke the words.

"I … I don't know where he is, he is out. I don't know when he will be back…I swear." Amelia struggled to get the words out the waves of pain now more intense. She watched in horror one of the men pointed his gun in her face.

"Fuckin' whore, I will splatter your ass all over, just like that other bitch who answered the door." He pressed the cool metal to her forehead.

"Please … Please it's the truth I don't know when he will come back." Amelia looked him in his eyes pleading for mercy but no emotion was present. For the first time since she had found out about the baby, Amelia felt the motherly instinct that everyone talked about flood over her. The pain throbbed through her as she placed her hand protectively over herself tighter. Christ I have been so stupid. The hot tears began to stream down her cheeks blurring her vision.

"Please, don't do this. I'm not begging for myself, but please don't do this I'm pregnant … please. He was just protecting me that night. Please!" She looked up her eyes continuing to beg as the largest man stepped forward his deep baritone evil laugh echoing through the kitchen.

"Take that fucking gun away from her," He spoke to the smaller man, "You expect us to believe this is all a coincidence?" He hissed the words at her.

"Please I don't know what you mean?" Amelia tried hard to keep her voice steady as the throbbing pain began to feel as if something was ripping.

"This isn't all about that night, bitch! It's about your man's business dealings in fucking Laguna. So, this baby is it his?" He eyed her. "Don't lie bitch … we see the other pretty boy here all hours of the fucking night and day! Is this that cock sucking Nomads baby or pretty boys?" Amelia looked at the large man helpless unable to answer from the shock. "BITCH WHOSE BABY IS IT?" The words resonating around the room as he pulled his own gun.

"Yes! Yes, it's his baby the one on the beach." Amelia looked down at the ground the tears flowing from her eyes as she spoke the words.

"LOOK at me you sniveling bitch!" Quickly Amelia looked into his eyes, her vision blurred from the warm tears, "You tell him we said, FUCK YOU!" Amelia opened her mouth to respond as the man kicked her in the abdomen with his boot sending her petite body flying back into the refrigerator door. She attempted to scream, but no sound came as he kicked her again. The pain coursed through her as the blows continued to come one after another.

"Please … God … please stop." She held her arms around her body attempting to shelter herself as she felt a warm liquid begin to ooze from between her legs. The almost unbearable pain as if something was ripping away.

"You don't want to play like this anymore." The giant man growled. "I got another game we can play." He turned to the other men an evil smile cast upon his lips. "Take her in there on the couch I think I should get a little sample of what that fuckin' Nomad cheated me out of on the beach.

"Man she's pregnant." The smallest guy blurted out.

"More than one way to fuck a woman." He shot back. "Get her to the fuckin' couch before I fuck you up the ass!"

~6:20PM~

"Aiden your phone has been in my office ringing endlessly you have 14 missed calls. Did you not hear it?" Luann walked over handing him the device.

"Who can hear shit in this place with all the theatrics Lu?" Aiden countered answering the phone. "Yeah."

"Please tell me you are with Amelia!" Mike screamed into the phone his voice barely audible from the sounds of bike engines roaring.

"About to head that way now." Aiden responded his voice rising in concern.

"They are after our girl Aiden!" Mike yelled into the phone.

"MOTHERFUCKER!" Aiden dropped the phone running towards the door.

"Aiden?" Luanne called out looking at Juice and Chibs.

"Come on Juicy." Chibs followed in Aiden's direction.

~6:44PM~

Aiden barely lowered the kickstand before jumping of the Harley not giving a shit if it hit the ground. His panic grew as he approached seeing Marie even in the distance laying in a pool of bright red blood. Pulling his gun he entered the doorway stepping around her body heading towards the kitchen. The bright red blood splattered all over floor and refrigerator met him upon entrance. His eyes diverted for a moment to the built-in microwave the large red letters glaring at him angrily. He looked back at the puddle of blood on the floor a sense of déjà vu overtaking him. Then he saw her sitting on the floor holding her finger that she had cut on the glass from the beer bottle she had dropped. In those 60 seconds, Aiden Janowitz relived Valentines 1995 and as he move to the next room, he shook with fear.

Juice and Chibs entered the house the sound of Aiden's blood curdling screams filling the air. They ran towards the noise both arriving the room at the same time.

"Jesus Christ." Chibs gasp kneeling down to help Aiden the girl in his arms covered completely in red.

"We need an ambulance." Juice barked into the phone in his hand. "I don't know …I don't think she's breathing..."

~7:15PM~

The five headlights pierced the urban streets of Oakland; they knew it would be a miracle if the local PD didn't join in the parade. Either way Mike wasn't stopping until he reached Amelia's mothers house in Charming. His mind raced as the road the 71 miles from Oakland to Charming in less than an hour. By custom, the President, Jax, would always be in the lead. Not this time, Jax, Opie, Happy and Tig could barely keep up with Mike and he blew through red light after red light barely slowing down.

Mike could see the blue lights in the long driveway as he rounded the corner. His mind went white, a blur, as he rode up the driveway. Almost immediately, as he stepped off his bike, two Sheriff's department deputies placed their hands on his shoulders, saying something he never heard. A flurry of motion, struggling bodies, flailing arms, Mike wailing, Jax and Opie attempting restraining him when the deputies failed. From behind the grand, double door entrance Aiden emerged silhouetted in the harsh light.
