Chapter 283
On Saturday Febuary 16th President Wilkins attended a meeting of his group, the circle of the black Thorne. The circle featured in its members some of the most powerful and influential creatures in this realm. They were suppossed to be the instruments for the Senior Partners in this dimension. The circle promoted evil. Not evil for evil's sake, they coveted the power that came with evil. Amongst those who attended this particular meeting were Wilkins, Holland Manners, and Dracula. Holland brought his guard Hauser, a true believer in evil. hamilton helped organize the meeting, he ws after all the Senior Partner's liason. The topics discussed today included Atkinson and his zombie cops. It seemed premature to bring zombies into the mix, given that the ones in Sunnydale failed so badly. Dracula wanted to make the Concillium Mortuum an ally officially. For now he was keeping them from slaughtering Sunnydale. No easy feat, especially with Kakistos. The question remained about whether they should have an official truce with the Watcher's council. The Master could pose a threat to all of them, it might be best to pool their knowledge and resources. But if the Watchers learned too much about the circle, they could use it against them in the future. This danger went both ways, the circle could learn enough about the Watcher's Council to defeat them later. Despite the danger the Master posed, when both sides were plotting against each other this made working together difficult. President Wilkins also wanted to mke Faith an official member of the circle. Others had reservations. They feared Wilkins was becoming too powerful already. If Faith were an ally within the circle, they feared what this alliance could do. And becoming an official member of the Circle of the Black Thorn required a commitment to evil. Some had doubts about Faith's commitment.
