Sorry I never got around to posting last week, but this chapter was hard for me to write.
Christian's POV:
After Ana and I's date night in I've decided to do something nice for her at Escala. I've realized that she doesn't want anything and will probably fight me tooth and nail on anything I buy for her, but I understand that she's not used to this life. She had to work all through college just to pay her tuition. If I can buy her something she'd love and use why wouldn't I do it. I make more then enough money and I want to give her the world. I'm going to ask her to move in with me and I'm going to make her a perfect room for her to get away in and do what she likes in. I never use the library so it will be her new office, which she will need since I fired that twat Hyde. I promise that man is going to pay for attacking Ana.
She's already had so much shit happen in her life and she doesn't need anymore. I'm just thankful we're together because if we were together or not he would have done this to her, but I came just in time.
I just got out of a meeting with the big guys at Grey Publishing House we are slowly changing the name, but everyone is so used to SIP it's been a hard switch. We have decided that Ana will take over Jack's position since she knows all about his current books deals and has sat in with all of his clients who all love her. Ana's book is being transferred so another editor can keep it on track. I'm not going to lie and say I hadn't thought about making and an editor, but it couldn't come from me it had to be someone else suggestion or else she will think she got it only because she's with me.
Everyone had amazing things to say about Ana they say she's productive, organized and passionate about her work. The vote was unanimous they all wanted it to be Ana. I am so proud of her. HR is going to tell everyone the good news on Friday.
Ana's POV:
It's Friday and they are going to make the announcement of who is going to be taking over Jacks editorial position. I am so giddy because I had the best time with the Grey family last night handing out candy, drinking, cooking and eating. We also made plans with Ethan, Mia, Kate, Elliot, Anthony and his new boyfriend Marco to go to this new club for Halloween, which is half price for any one who wears a costume. Although it's Christian's club so we won't have to pay. We are ordering in food for lunch thanks to Christian so HR can make the announcement. We get sandwiches, vegetables and champagne. I'm with Lacy who has actually become a great friend set up the food and Champagne in the break-room when Christian walks in a plants a kiss on my lips.
"Not here Christian." I say pushing him off.
"I know, but I just couldn't help myself." He says with a childish smile on his face.
I make us both a plate while Christian grabs some champagne and go to my desk to eat.
"So who's the new editor I'm going to be working for." I ask curiously and I'm secretly hoping for a girl. I do not want to go through anything like that again.
"You'll find out very soon." He says with a devilish smile taking a bite of his turkey club.
Once Lacy has joined us and everyone is seated Elizabeth Morgan who's the head of HR stand up to make her announcement.
"Due to recent events we have had to fire our editor Jack Hyde."
"Doing the female staff here a good service." Lacy yells and all of the women clap. Clearly this is a weight lifted off everyone's shoulders.
"Yes, but we are here today to give one of our own a great opportunity. She is a hard worker and has done an amazing service to our company. We've decided hat Anastasia Steele is going to be taking over for Jack Hyde. Only if she want to of course. So what do you say Ana?" She says with a smile. This in unreal I can't believe this is happening. Everyone raises their glasses and toasts to me.
"Thank you." I say with a smile I can't believe this is happening. We drink champagne and everyone congratulates me on my new position. After Christian leaves I am told to report to HR to sign my contract.
I am going to make a hundred thousand dollars a year with possible bonuses. I can't wait to call my dad and tell him to good news. He was always supportive of my dreams an he's going to be so proud. Although I am going to need to talk to Christian about this. I swear if he had any part to play in this I am going to kick his ass and we both know I can.
I sign the forms and clear out my desk and move into my new office before I go outside to meet Christian. "Hey babe." Christian says helping me into the car.
"Hey how was the rest of your day?"
"Great we just closed a BFD."
"A BFD?" I ask very confused.
"Big fucking deal." He says while laughing.
"So did you sign on the dotted line?" He asks.
"Yes I did and we need to talk."
"I don't like the sound of that."
"You have no reason to worry Christian. I just want to ask you something... did I get this promotion because you and I are dating?"
"No, I mean I wanted to give you the job, but I needed to make sure you were perfect so we had a meeting with everyone and they suggested you. They love you Ana and think you're a great addition to the team." I stare him down and I can tell he's being serious.
"Alright I just needed to make sure."
"So what are we being for Halloween?" He asks since I've been keeping it a secret.
"Batman and Catwoman."
"I don't like the sound of that."
"What the fuck, why not?" It took me a long time to figure out a cute couple costume for us.
"You in a skin tight costume in a club full of drunk people."
"Yes, but I will be with you. Now stow your twitch palm and be excited for your first Halloween as an adult."
"How'd you know it was my first?"
"It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out." I say and he laughs pulling me closer to him.
Christian helps me cook for everyone I've decided finger foods would be best since we want to watch some scary movies. We made sliders, tomato goat cheese tarts, scallop BLT's and BBQ chicken quesadillas with guacamole. I also pulled out a bag of my white chocolate popcorn and finish making caramel apples. Fifteen minutes before they get here so I run upstairs and get ready. I decide to go for the Anne Hatheway cat woman look and I think I did a pretty good job after seeing Christian's reaction.
"You look fantastic." He says pulling me in close to him.
"Thank you now put your costume on." I reply and give him a kiss on the lips and go down stairs.
Just as I reach the bottom of the stair the gang walks through the front door. We say our hellos and admire each others costumes. Kate and Elliot are dress as superman and wonder girl. Anthony and Marco are dress as Burt and Ernie. Mia and Ethan are dressed as Dorthy and The Tin Man. I must say that everyone looks fantastic.
"So wheres Batman." Elliot asks and we are all surprised when we here Christian say in a Batman voice "up here."
Damn he looks good! I went for the Batman suit without those fake muscles because they scare me and the skin tight costume sticks to his muscles perfectly.
"Ana do you need some help getting your jaw off the floor?" Mia asks laughing. I hadn't realized my mouth was open. I must look like a horny school girl.
Just a horny editor my subconscious says while my inner goddess hangs there with her mouth open to. Christian is now at my side and swoops me up into his arms, which makes me squeal and in return I get one of his famous panty dropping smiles. He carries me over to the couch and sits down pulling me into his lap. Everyone sits down and we pick a movie. We watch laugh when the boys or Kate jump while eating the finger food and drinking wine.
After everything that's happened for the first time in my life I feel like things are normal. Well as normal as things can get with Christian Grey.
When the movie is over we get into two cars, one driven by Luke and the other driven by Taylor. Christian doesn't want to go to the club, but he isn't going to let me go alone. We pass the huge line up and the bouncer lets us in thanks to Christian. We order our drinks and Christian starts us a tab.
I get a cranberry and vodka and put three limes in and start sipping away. We sit a a table in the corner and past costumes from when we were kids.
"I was mini mouse for my first Halloween...that I remember at least, then for my first Halloween with my friends I was a slutty mini mouse." Kate says and winks.
"The first Halloween I remember I was a cow girl and my first Halloween with my friends I was a slutty cat." Mia says.
"I remember that you were the cutest little cow girl ever and if I remember correctly you gave me your puppy dog eyes and convinced me to be a cowboy." Christian says. His love for his baby sister is amazing. I need to ask Grace if she can find some pictures of Christian as a little boy. I bet he was so cute dress as a cowboy. I guess protecting Mia was the only normal thing he did as a child.
"She's been able to manipulate you from day one." Elliot says with a cheeky smile.
"Shut it Lelliot." Mia and Christian say in unison, which makes everyone laugh.
"My first Halloween I remember I was a dinosaur hand made costume and everything and my first Halloween costume out of the closet I was Frankenfurter from Rocky Horror Picture Show with Ana dressed as Colombia." Oh god that Halloween was an absolute shit show
"I never really did the whole Halloween thing." Marco says.
"I was Darth Vader for my first Halloween and I never really went out with friends, but tagged a long with everything Anthony wanted to do." I say with a smile.
"You guys have to see Ana's Halloween pics from when she was a kid they are the best." Anthony pipes up.
Once we've gone around the table and shared some stories and had a few more drinks we head out onto the dance floor. I've never been a good dancer, but Christian makes it easy.
His hands find there way to my waist and we start dancing to the music. I run my hands over his flawless chest and six-pack and the tense when he moves his body to the music. I turn around so my back is facing him and he wraps his arms around my waist. When he pulls my body against his thought run aimlessly through my mind and they are thoughts the old Ana couldn't dream of. I'm still the shy, socially awkward girl I was, but the sex Christian and I have is off the charts amazing. The song fades perfectly into the next.
The lights mixed with the alcohol is making me dizzy. I lean my head against him and move my hands up to the sides of his face and move down to his neck then back to their place over his hands. He nuzzles his face into my neck and leaves a trail of kisses and small bites. After a couple more songs sweat starts beading down my neck and I pull Christian back to the VIP booth and order some water for Christian and I.
Once the water gets here Christian puts his hand on the inside of my thigh and slowly moves it closer to my sex. Once he reaches it he starts rubbing my clit through my clothes. I get all I can take before I straddle him and start kissing him. I start kissing down his neck back up and nibble on his earlobe. I can feel him getting hard underneath me, so it's no surprise and he picks me up off him grabs my hand and says.
