"Hey Ben! Amy! We're back! Merry Christmas!" Leo said happily as he walked into his house with Camille.
"Hey Dad! How were your cousins? Merry Christmas!" Ben said kindly as he gave Leo a hug.
"They're doing great...How was the party?" Leo said intrigued.
"It was a lot of fun...Everyone enjoyed it...And I have a surprise for you." Ben said smiling and he walked into the kitchen with Leo and Camille.
"Merry Christmas Leo and Camille!" Amy said excited as she showed them her engagement ring.
"Merry Christmas Amy! Did Ben propose to you?!" Leo said surprised.
"Yes he did...After the party last night...At the park and it was perfect!" Amy said sweetly.
"Wow...This is quite a Christmas surprise...Congratulations! Should we open a bottle of wine to celebrate?" Camille said kindly.
"Wine sounds good to me...You two can have a little if you want." Leo said smiling.
"Oh...No...Soda is fine...You two should enjoy the wine." Ben said nicely as he put an arm around Amy and Camille got a bottle of wine and soda out of the fridge.
"So...Do your parents know, Amy?" Leo said concerned as he sat at the table.
"Of course they do...We called them earlier and my Mom's coming over for dinner with Ashley and Robbie...My Dad's having people over or...Kathleen is...I sent them pictures of the ring and they're really excited." Amy said happily.
"I'm happy to hear that...Are you two sure that you want to be engaged?" Leo said honestly.
"Heh...Don't be crazy, Dad...We wanted to get married at fifteen." Ben said seriously.
"That's true but you two have changed a lot since then...The last time you were married, it didn't work out." Camille said sadly as she sat next to Leo.
"I know but that's because I was married to the wrong person and I got married for the wrong reasons...I have been in love with Amy since day one of high school." Ben said sincerely.
"It's true...And I've been in love with Ben since then too...I didn't realize it until after I left Ricky for him." Amy said kindly after taking a sip of her soda.
"Wow...You two really are like Romeo and Juliet...I'm really happy for both of you and...welcome to the family, Amy...Where's Chloe?" Leo said nicely and then concerned.
"Thank you...That means a lot." Amy said smiling.
"Chloe is at Jack's...She forgot to give him some present last night...She should be back soon...And she's really happy for us too." Ben said smiling.
"Hmm...I wonder what she forgot to give Jack...Hasn't he been around?" Leo said concerned.
"Leo! It's Christmas...I think Jack seems like a nice guy." Camille said firmly.
"Yeah...He can be a nice guy...Hopefully Chloe will be careful." Ben said seriously.
"I'm sure she'll be fine...She's a smart girl." Amy said sweetly.
Meanwhile at Anne's house...
"I can't believe Amy is engaged again...I wonder if it will work out this time." Ashley said seriously as she sat next to Toby on the couch.
"Yeah...It's pretty crazy...I guess Amy really loves Ben." Toby said smiling.
"She thought she loved Ricky too and you see how that turned out." Ashley said honestly.
"You shouldn't be judging Amy right now, Ashley...First of all, it's Christmas and second of all...Amy said that she left Ricky for Ben." Anne said as she sat in a chair.
"I don't care what day it is...I can judge Amy all I want...And she left Ricky for Ben? Wow...What a shocker." Ashley said honestly and then sarcastically.
"Can't you just be happy for her? I am...And didn't you like your Christmas present?" Anne said concerned.
"Of course I'm happy for Amy...I think it's amazing how she still managed to get back with Ben after she broke Ricky's heart...And I do like the cooking materials that you gave me." Ashley said sternly and then nicely.
"Why does it matter if Amy broke Ricky's heart if she wanted to be with Ben?" Toby said intrigued.
"I guess you don't know what it's like to get your heart broken, do you? But...you do have a good point...At least Ricky is happy with Grace now." Ashley said sincerely.
"That's true...Are you two going to stay together?" Anne said kindly.
"Uh...I guess...We've been together for the entire semester." Toby said happily.
"Yeah...We'll see...I need to get ready." Ashley said a little irritated and she left the living room.
"Has she always been this rude to you?" Anne said concerned.
"Heh...No...She's actually a lot less annoying when she cooks...She really has a passion for it...And most of the time she is nice to me." Toby said smiling.
"Ha ha...Ashley can be a handful sometimes...I need to get ready too...Are you going to see family?" Anne said nicely as she stood up.
"Yeah...We're having some cousins, aunts, and uncles come over from Texas...Thanks for having me over for lunch and Merry Christmas...I'll call Ashley later." Toby said happily.
"That's nice...Merry Christmas Toby...And you can come over anytime." Anne said smiling.
"Bye Toby! Talk to you later and Merry Christmas!" Ashley said loudly from her room.
"Bye Ashley! Merry Christmas!" Toby said as he raised his voice and he left.
A couple hours later at Kathy's house...
"He's here! Thank you for letting Ethan come over, Grandma!" Kathy said excited as she ran to the front door.
"You're welcome sweet heart! Everyone else should be here in an hour." Maritza said happily and she went into the kitchen.
"Hey Kathy...Merry Christmas!" Ethan said kindly as Kathy opened the door.
"Merry Christmas Ethan! Come on in!" Kathy said sweetly.
"Here's your present...You don't have to open it now." Ethan said nicely as he handed Kathy a bag that was red and green.
"Thank you...I put yours under our tree...We can open them later." Kathy said smiling as she walked into the living room and put her gift under the tree.
"Wow...It's a very beautiful tree...I like the white star on the top." Ethan said surprised as he looked at the tree.
"Yeah it is...My grandma always does an amazing job decorating the tree every year...She's finishing dinner so we can just stay in here." Kathy nicely as she sat on the couch.
"Does she need any help?" Ethan said concerned.
"I helped her earlier with the turkey and I made the mashed potatoes and cherry pie...She should be fine though...Everything just needs to be warmed up for like forty five minutes in the oven or on the stove." Kathy said seriously.
"That's good...I love cherry pie and I don't really know much about cooking...But I thought we could help set the table or something." Ethan said smiling.
"I know you love cherry pie which is why I made it...Heh...And the table is already set...What do Margaret and Shaker usually do for Christmas?" Kathy kindly.
"They usually have friends and family over...And they didn't mind if I came over here for dinner since I had a nice dinner with them last night with some of their coworkers...It wasn't that fun...Heh." Ethan said honestly.
"Cool...And I'm sorry...We could have went to Ben's party last night...But my Grandma and I went to my great aunt's retirement home...I haven't seen her in years...She's like eighty five." Kathy said sweetly.
"Their coworkers were nice...Eighty five is pretty old...I hope that I can live to be that long...With you." Ethan said smiling.
"Yeah it is...And you're too sweet Ethan...So you do trust me?" Kathy said intrigued.
"Of course I do...As long as you don't see Brian again." Ethan said concerned.
"You won't have to worry about that...I wanted to win the bet." Kathy said smiling and she leaned in close to Ethan and gave him a long kiss.
"Mmm...I'm glad you won...But don't we need some mistletoe?" Ethan said as he smirked.
"Oh yeah...Heh...We'll get some for next year." Kathy said happily.
Meanwhile at Grace's house...
"I think the food is all finished...Can you help me put it on the counter, George?" Kathleen said sweetly.
"Of course...Everything looks so good...You always make the best food on Christmas." George said happily as he grabbed a plate with ham.
"Heh...Are you saying that you don't like my cooking during the rest of the year?" Kathleen said sarcastically.
"Ha ha...Very funny." George said smiling as he put a pot of green beans on the counter and the door bell rang.
"Tom! Can you get the door please?" Kathleen said loudly.
"I...got it!" Tom said as he walked out of the living room and to the front door.
He opened it and saw Reverend Stone, Didi, and Jack.
"Hello Reverend Stone, Didi,...and...Jack...Merry Christmas...Come in." Tom said kindly.
"Merry Christmas Tom...Thanks." Reverend Stone said happily and he walked in with his wife and son.
"What's up buddy? Is Grace here yet?" Jack said excited.
"Nope...Not yet...Why...are you here?" Tom said confused.
"Because Chloe is having dinner with her family and I wanted to come with my parents." Jack said honestly.
"Ok...You can get a drink...Dinner will be served after everyone gets here." Tom said sternly and Jack walked into the kitchen.
A few minutes later Tom heard giggling outside the front door and he opened it and saw Grace and Ricky kissing.
"Oh...My...What are you two doing?" Tom said surprised.
"Heh...Merry Christmas Tom." Grace said sweetly as she let go of Ricky and wiped her mouth.
"We brought mistletoe...Ha ha...Merry Christmas." Ricky said kindly as he showed Tom the mistletoe.
"All right...Come in." Tom said nicely and John ran into the kitchen while Grace and Ricky walked behind him.
"Merry Christmas Grace and Ricky!" George said happily.
"Merry Christmas George! Everything smells great." Ricky said smiling.
"Yeah it does...Do you want me to set the table?" Grace said nicely.
"The table is set and...Some people are going to eat at the kitchen table and the dining room and...the living room too...You two can get your drinks...Merry Christmas." Kathleen said sweetly.
"Merry Christmas guys!" Jack said happily as he walked into the kitchen from the living room.
"What are you doing here?" Grace said annoyed as she turned around to face Jack.
"I was invited...Chloe is having dinner with her family and my parents are here." Jack said seriously.
"Oh yeah...Can I have some lemonade please, George?" Grace said a little irritated as she looked at Jack and then George.
"Um...Sure...Is there something going on?" George said awkwardly as he grabbed a glass.
"I don't think so." Jack said after taking a sip of his soda.
"I'll have some lemonade too." Ricky said smiling.
A few minutes later one of Grace's cousins walked in with her parents.
"Oh my gosh! Cotton! How are you?" Grace said excited as she gave Cotton a hug.
"I'm doing great! How are you Grace?" Cotton said sweetly.
"I'm good...It's been a few years since I've seen you." Grace said happily.
"Sweet baby Jesus." Jack said quietly as his eyes widened.
"What?" Ricky said confused and Jack pointed at Grace and Cotton.
"They look so much a like." Jack said seriously.
"I guess...Who is that?" Ricky said as he looked at Cotton.
"Her cousin...She is really hot." Jack said as he smiled.
"Really dude? You're with Chloe." Ricky said a little irritated and Jack walked by Grace and Cotton.
"Hello...I'm Jack." Jack said kindly as he put his hand out.
"Oh...Like Jack Sparrow...It's nice to meet you...I'm Cotton." Cotton said nicely as she shook Jack's hand.
"Heh...He's nothing like Jack Sparrow." Grace said as she rolled her eyes.
"Is he your brother? The one that your dad had in Africa?" Cotton said concerned.
"No I'm not...That's Jacob...I'm her ex-fiance..." Jack said honestly.
"I see...That's a shame cause you're really cute." Cotton said as she grinned.
"Ooookay...I think almost everyone is here so we can probably get some food." Grace said nervously and Chase walked in with his parents.
"Merry Christmas cuz!" Chase said happily and he gave Grace a hug.
"I almost forgot that you were coming...This is Cotton..She's also our cousin so please don't hit on her." Grace said a little irritated as she pulled away from Chase.
"It's a pleasure to meet you." Chase said smiling as he looked at Cotton.
After everyone got their food, the parents ate in the dining room and everyone else ate in the living room.
"So what kind of a name is Cotton?" Jack said intrigued.
"What do you mean? It's just a name." Cotton said happily.
"Ugh...I need help with something in the kitchen, Jack." Grace said sternly as she looked at Jack.
"What is it?" Jack said confused.
"Just come on." Grace said as she stood up and walked into the kitchen and Jack followed her.
"Where are you from? You have a pretty cool southern accent." Ricky said nicely.
"Thank you Dickey...I'm from Louisiana...It's really warm down there." Cotton said smiling.
"Uh...It's Ricky." Ricky said awkwardly.
"Heh...I bet it is." Chase said as he smirked.
Meanwhile in the kitchen...
"Are you seriously hitting on my cousin right now? She's from Louisiana and she...isn't the sharpest tool in the shed even though she's a chemistry major." Grace said annoyed as she crossed her arms.
"You're kidding me, right? She looks just like you except for the accent...It's actually kind of hot...And I don't care how smart she is." Jack said honestly.
"She does not look just like me...And I know you don't care about how smart a girl is...You only care about sex...And you have a girlfriend who I thought you really liked...Remember?" Grace said seriously.
"Wow...I can't believe you think that I would cheat on Chloe...with your cousin? Come on, Grace...Just because I'm attracted to her doesn't mean that I'll do anything with her." Jack said firmly.
"I wish I could believe that...If you aren't careful, I'll tell Chloe." Grace said sternly as she pinched Jack's shirt.
"Heh...You're really resorting to pinching my shirt again? The last time you did that in this kitchen we uh...you know." Jack said as he smiled.
"Oh...Um...That doesn't matter...You're so pathetic..." Grace said awkwardly and then annoyed as she let go of Jack.
"Merry Christmas to you too." Jack said sarcastically as he rolled his eyes and they walked back into the living room.
Meanwhile at Cindy's and Reuben's house...
"This was so good...You're an awesome cook Cindy!" Dante said happily after he wiped his mouth with a napkin.
"Thank you Dante...Omar and Adrian helped me cook too." Cindy said sweetly.
"We did...It was a lot of fun." Omar said smiling.
"Since when do you like cooking, bro?" Dante said surprised.
"Heh...Since I taught him how to cook...You should learn how to cook too." Lorraine said kindly.
"I don't know about that, Mom." Dante said nicely.
"Cooking will come in handy when you live on your own, Dante." Reuben said seriously.
"All right...I got it...Heh...Are we gonna play a game or what?" Dante said after taking a drink of his water.
"Yeah...We can play truth or dare downstairs...Let's go!" Adrian said excited as she stood up and walked out of the dining room with Omar. Dante and Lauren followed them.
"Adrian is such a sweet woman...I'm so excited to have a gran baby!" Lorraine said sweetly.
"We are too! It's amazing how quickly Adrian got pregnant after they got married." Cindy said seriously.
"That's what can happen if you aren't too careful...At least they're happily married...That will help their kid." Norman said honestly.
"I sure hope so...I know they'll be great parents." Reuben said smiling.
"Me too...And I'm sorry about the trial in New York...That Bob man is terrible." Nixon said sincerely.
"Don't worry about it...I tried my best...That's all that matters and Ricky is ok with Bob staying in jail for life." Reuben said as he smiled slowly.
"And I'm really proud of you, honey...My parents were too." Cindy said kindly.
"Where are your parents?" Lorraine said intrigued.
"We saw them yesterday...They live in Palm Springs...in a retirement home and they love it." Cindy said happily.
"That's really nice...Sooner or later we'll have to move into one...Heh..." Lorraine said smiling.
"Ha ha...Yeah...Hopefully it will be later than sooner." Nixon said as he grinned.
Meanwhile downstairs...
"All right...Lauren...Truth or dare?" Adrian said intrigued.
"Do we really have to play this?" Lauren said a little irritated.
"Come on, boo...Just pick." Dante said smiling.
"Fine...Truth." Lauren said as she rolled her eyes.
"Hmm...How far have you went with Dante?" Adrian said as she smirked.
"Um...I pass." Lauren said awkwardly.
"Really Adrian?" Omar said surprised as he looked at Adrian.
"Ok...I'll ask you something else...Where is your dad? Isn't he coming?" Adrian said concerned.
"He's bringing angel food cake...And he's been seeing a new woman actually...I'm pretty sure she's coming too and so are my brother and Madison." Lauren said seriously.
"Oh wow...When did this happen?" Dante said shocked.
"Like a month ago...He just told me about her a couple days ago...I think he really likes her." Lauren said sadly.
"That's good...Do you like her?" Omar said intrigued.
"She seems nice...As long as she makes my Dad happy, that's all that matters." Lauren said honestly.
"Holy shoot...You guys are not going to believe this...Ben just texted me..." Adrian said shocked as she looked at her phone.
"What is it?" Omar said concerned.
"Ben and Amy got engaged last night!" Adrian said happily as she showed everyone a picture of Amy showing her ring.
"No way! This is awesome!" Lauren said excited.
"Woah...That's crazy...Aren't they like nineteen?" Dante said surprised.
"Yeah but...they almost got married at fifteen...I'm so happy for them!" Adrian said sweetly.
"Me too...They're like a modern day Romeo and Juliet...This is awesome!" Omar said as he grinned.
"I wonder if Ricky knows yet..." Adrian said worried.
"Who cares? Let's just keep playing the game...It's my turn." Dante said a little irritated.
Meanwhile at Ben's house...
"The chocolate cake was so good...Where did Leo get it from?" Chloe said intrigued.
"I think from a bakery...It was delicious." Ben said smiling.
"Yeah...How's Jack?" Amy said nicely as she sat down.
"He's doing all right...He gave me a lot of great gifts for Christmas...I love this heart necklace." Chloe said sweetly as she showed Amy the silver heart necklace that she had on.
"Aww! It's really pretty! Why didn't he come over?" Amy said kindly and then concerned.
"Cause he went to Grace's house with his parents." Chloe said seriously.
"Of course he did...But...You trust him right?" Ben said intrigued.
"I wouldn't...Jack is the worst boyfriend you could have...He likes to cheat." Ashley said sternly as she sat next to Amy.
"And how would you know that?" Chloe said confused.
"Because he's friends with Amy...Kind of...And he used to date Grace and everyone knew how much of a jerk that Jack was because of her." Ashley said honestly.
"He isn't that bad...I think he just has a bad reputation because of all the dumb stuff that he did in high school...I used to have a really bad one when I was on the streets." Chloe said sadly.
"Oh yeah...I forgot that you used to be a hooker...I'm going to get more punch." Ashley said awkwardly and she got up and walked over by Toby.
"I'm sorry Chloe...She usually speaks her mind and sometimes it's not so nice." Amy said sincerely.
"It's ok...She isn't one of the worst people that I've met...When do you two want to get married?" Chloe said nicely.
"We're not really sure...Sometime next year...Right?" Ben said kindly.
"Yeah...We can figure it out later...Heh." Amy said as she smirked while she looked at her phone.
"What is it?" Ben said smiling.
"Madison and Lauren said Merry Christmas and congratulations...They're so funny." Amy said happily.
"Heh...How's Toby doing with Ashley?" Ben said nicely.
"I think ok...They've been hanging out together all night." Amy said sweetly as she watched Toby and Ashley go upstairs.
"Yeah...It looks like they're joined at the hip." Chloe said as she smirked.
"No kidding...Do you girls want to play a game? My Dad got a new pin ball machine." Ben said happily.
"Sure! That sounds like fun!" Amy said excited as she stood up.
Meanwhile at Grace's house...
"What is your deal with Jack? Who cares if he hit on Cotton?" Ricky said sternly.
"Are you serious? He's with Chloe and...Cotton is not his type...Trust me...She's about as dumb as a door nail." Grace said a little irritated.
"And how would you know what Jack's type is? If he cheats on Chloe...it's really none of our business." Ricky said honestly.
"Because...I was on and off with him for years...And you're right...Let's just go back downstairs." Grace said seriously as she walked out of the kitchen.
"What's going on in here?" George said concerned as he walked into the kitchen.
"Nothing...Grace is just worried that Jack will cheat on Chloe with Cotton." Ricky said firmly.
"Who is Cotton?" George said confused.
"Grace's cousin from Louisiana...He thinks that she looks a lot like Grace...I don't see it." Ricky said seriously.
"Oh...I get it...He just likes her because she looks like Grace...I sure hope he doesn't do anything stupid...I'm glad he's not my kid...Ha ha...I'm going to get more wine." George said sternly and then happily as he walked over by the counter.
"I'll see ya later...And I hope Jack doesn't do anything dumb either." Ricky said a little irritated and he left the kitchen and pulled his phone out to call Amy.
"Hey Ricky! Merry Christmas! How's John?" Amy said sweetly.
"Merry Christmas Amy...John is doing great...You sound very happy." Ricky said surprised as he smiled.
"I am very happy because...Ben proposed last night! We're engaged! I wanted to tell you in person tomorrow." Amy said excited.
"Oh wow...That's very exciting! Congratulations! Are you going to pick a date this time or make him wait and wait like you did with me?" Ricky said kindly and then a little annoyed.
"Thank you! Ha ha...Very funny...I wasn't ready to marry you when we got engaged...And I left you for Ben anyway..." Amy said nicely and then seriously.
"I knew it...I guess all I will ever be to you is John's father." Ricky said sadly.
"Uh...What happened to being deeply and completely in love with Grace?" Amy said concerned.
"Forget I said that...I am in love with her and your engagement or wedding isn't going to change that...I'll talk to you later...Bye Amy." Ricky said honestly and he hung up and went downstairs.
"Wow! John is a really good dancer!" Jack said surprised.
"He is! I want a kid just like him!" Cotton said sweetly.
"Oh, geeze...This is getting ridiculous..." Grace said as she rolled her eyes.
"What's your problem?" Chase said concerned as he walked by Grace.
"Jack is...He's been hitting on Cotton all night." Grace said firmly.
"Well...Maybe you should forget about him...You have Ricky and...I think she's been hitting on him too." Chase said honestly.
"Really? I would think you know how cheating works after cheating on Kathy." Grace said a little irritated as she crossed her arms.
"That's over...I'm never cheating again...And they're just talking...You're reading way too much into this." Chase said firmly.
"Maybe you're right...But...I don't want Chloe to get hurt...She's been through a lot." Grace said sadly.
"Lighten up, Grace...It is Christmas and it only comes once a year...Don't waste it by being bitter about a guy who has been a jerk to you...And I'm sure Chloe will be fine." Chase said nicely.
"Thanks Chase...You're a lot smarter than you look." Grace said kindly and she walked over by Ricky and John.
"Great job dancing buddy! We're going to get going soon so you should get your present from grandpa George upstairs...Ok?" Ricky said nicely.
"Ok Daddy..."'John said sweetly and he went upstairs.
"I'm sorry about Jack...He just gets on my nerves sometimes." Grace said nicely as she hugged Ricky.
"It's ok...And I get it...Amy drives me nuts sometimes too...Ben also proposed to her last night...They're engaged." Ricky said sincerely as he let go of Grace.
"They're engaged? I can't believe it! That's so exciting!" Grace said happily as her eyes widened.
"Who's engaged?" Cotton said intrigued as she walked by Grace and Ricky with Chase and Jack.
"Our friends Ben and Amy...I'm so happy for them!" Grace said nicely.
"Wow...That's pretty awesome...Hopefully their second engagement and wedding will be better than their first one." Jack said smiling and seriously.
"So they're already married? Like jersery house wives? My old boyfriend almost proposed to me by calling me one." Cotton said confused.
"Wow...And I thought I was dumb...Congrats to your friends and I'll see you later...Merry Christmas and Happy New Year." Chase said awkwardly and he went upstairs.
"Um...It's a long story but I could tell you about it sometime...I need to get going though." Jack said kindly while he looked at Cotton.
"Thanks Jack but I heard about Ben and...Amy from aunt Kathleen...Grace hardly told me anything when we were in high school...It's whatever since we live far away...And if you ever need maze, I know how to make it." Cotton said nicely.
"All right...I'll see ya around...I hope you all have a safe New Year...Bye guys." Jack said smiling and he went upstairs.
"It was a pleasure to meet you, Cotton...I have to get John so Merry Christmas and Happy New Year." Ricky said happily and he went upstairs.
"Bye Dicky...Well...I guess this is it, cuz...Unless we do something on New Year's then I might not see you for a few more years."'Cotton said seriously.
"Heh...I guess so...Were you into Jack?" Grace said intrigued.
"Not really...I was just being friendly...He was talking about football and sports too much...I didn't know what he was saying...Why did you break up with him anyway? So you could get with Dicky?" Cotton said sweetly.
"Ha ha...You mean Ricky...I broke up with Jack because he cheated on me...again...And he has a girlfriend now...So I'm glad that you weren't interested in him." Grace said honestly as she smiled.
"I'm sorry about that...He wasn't my type...I could tell he only wanted one thing by how he looked at me...But the way Ricky was looking at you...was very special...I can tell he loves you." Cotton said a little irritated and then sincerely.
"That's Jack...He only wanted to be with me for sex...And Ricky and I really love each other and I'm lucky to be with him...I hope you find a great guy too, Cotton." Grace said kindly.
"Thanks Grace...I hope I do too...You still want to be a doctor?" Cotton said intrigued.
"Yeah...I want to save lives just like my Dad did...It's hard not having him here on holidays...And what are you going to do with your chem degree?" Grace said sadly and then intrigued.
"I bet it is...My major is chemistry and I want to be a forensic scientist...One of my Kappa Kappa Zeta sisters was an FBI agent and we helped her get a bad guy arrested...It was really fun!
