Chapter 294
Lindsay and Eve nervously waited in Jacob Crane's restaurant. Holland believed they had never eaten a live werewolf before, which was why they were nervous. Eve wasn't sure what Lindsay was planning, but with the looks between them she was ready to follow him, whatever his plan was. Oz woke up, he knew what Crane was planning. After his first transformation Oz considered ending his own life, but not for these peopl. They were planning to eat him alive, give him an excrutiating death, for their own pleasure. Oz felt great anger, like he'd never felt before. If he got out he would make them pay for this. Then he saw his unlikely saviors. Buffy, Willow, even Veruca, all working together. This was a first. The three girls fought the guards and the guests. Veruca freed Oz, he thanked her. Then Willow gave Veruca the serum, to knock her unconsciouss before she turned. Willow tried to give this to Oz, but he turned before she could. Acting on pure instinct Oz attacked the human he hated the most, Jacob Crane. Oz ripped Crane to shreds. The guests fled in terror. Holland tripped on his way out, Lindsay went back to help him up. Buffy was able to shoot Oz with the tranquilizer gun. Jacob Crane was the only fatality that night.
