Buffy told Giles what happenned with Oz and the restaurant. Buffy felt guilty about taking Giles away from his new wife, but Jenny knew full well who she had married.
Giles: So Oz nd Veruca are safe?
Buffy: And locked in the cage, unconsciouss. Jacob Crane is dead though.
Giles: I supposse that was karma as much as anything else.
Buffy: Crane had three mercenaries at least, wearing masks and carryinf blasters. The thing is, I saw a bunch of guys dressed just like that on Halloween. I assumed they were just in costume.
Giles: Perhaps not. Lindsay sent you the text but the others were going to murder Oz. And we can't rule out the possibility that they are with the government. I think Obama used mercenaries like that to protect the Hellmouth. Wilkins might be using them for other things as well, less noble reasons.
