Chapter 302
On Friday March 1st Joyce picked Buffy up from baseball try-outs. Joyce knew her daughter would probably make the highschool baseball team and play for the Razorbacks. But she feared Buffy was drifting. They would soon learn if Buffy got into UC Sunnydale, but she had no idea what to major in. Joyce wondered if her daughter was just using college to delay entry into the rel world. As Buffy and Joyce walked to the house a man attacked them. Joyce tried to run inside, told Buffy to get inside. But instead Buffy fought this crazy man. Joyce ran inside to get her gun. But when she got back out she saw Buffy drive a wooden stake through this man's heart. Then suddenly this man turned into dust. Joyce had wondered if something unusual was going on with her daughter. But this raised more questions than it answered.
