Chapter 303
Buffy tried explaining the whole truth to her mother. About vampires, slayers, and how Buffy and Dawn were potential slayers. If Joyce hadn't seen a vampire turn into dust before her eyes she might've thought that Buffy needed to spend some time in a mental institution. Their conversation lasted more than three hours, they ordered pizza for dinner during this explanation. After this conversation Joyce needed time to process all of this. Luckily Buffy said that vampires needed an invitation to get into a home. Thus they were relatively safe here. As Joyce went to bed for the night a strange thought occurred to her, maybe Buffy had actually found her calling.
