Christian's POV:
Anastasia and I are on our way to Bellevue right now. I've given Taylor, Sawyer, and Gail the night off. I called Taylor's ex wife and arranged for Sophie to spend Christmas with him. He never gets to see her and I feel I'm partly to blame. When we arrive, it looks like everyone's already here. We don't bother ringing the doorbell and walk right in. Spending Christmas with my family is going to be wonderful. I look forward to spending more time with Ivy. Anastasia and I went a little over the top buying presents for her. We also bought matching pyjama sets for each couple to open tonight so they can wear them on Christmas morning. Ana and I looked online again this morning and her book has gone to number one. Just over a million copies have been sold. It's insane. I am so proud of her. I guess she has to get used to my money and hers. By my calculations, she's made just over six million dollars in about two months. Anastasia takes Ivy to walk Wellington and I grab all the present out of the car with the help of Elliot and Ethan. I look at the tree and there is presents everywhere – holy shit! It looks like everyone went over the top.
"I think Ivy's first Christmas as a Grey will be memorable." I say placing more presents down.
"I think so too."
Once we've finished, I go off to find Ana. I see Wellington running circles around the tree house.
"Did they leave you down here little man?" He's a very vocal dog. He's still small enough for me to carry him up the ladder. "I thought I might find you up here." I say when I reach the top.
It has been so long since I was up here. Ivy runs towards me and wraps her arms around my legs. She is absolutely beautiful. "What are you guys doing up here?"
"Looking around." Ana shrugs.
"Well it's chilly and I don't want my girls to get sick."
"Alright, Christian." Ana picks up Ivy and walks towards the slide and places Ivy on her lap. "Could you give us a push?" She asks.
"What do you think you're doing?"
"Going down the slide?"
"Is that safe?"
"Yes, Christian, it's safe. Remind me to have Flynn write you a prescription for Xanax when we have children." I stand there with my mouth open.
"I'm joking, Christian! Now, if you'll give us a push, we can meet you at the bottom." Hesitantly, I walk over to them and give Ana a push on the back. I hear Ivy scream and I panic. "Are you alright?!"
"Again! Again!" I hear Ivy shout.
"Everything's fine. I'm going to bring Ivy back up." Once I can reach Ivy on the ladder, I help her up.
"Do you want to go down with Ivy?" Ana asks.
"Sure." I do the same thing Ana had done and hold tightly onto Ivy. Ana pushes Ivy and I, both of us squealing. That was fun. Anastasia comes down next with Wellington who looks terrified. I laugh. He jumps off of her lap and runs towards the house and Ivy chases after him.
"Welly, wait for me!" I feel Ana wrap her arms around me kissing my back before she takes off, running after Ivy and I follow. I catch up beside her and she pushes me out of the way. She picks up the pace and it now running alongside Ivy. When they reach the door, they both stand there waiting for me.
"Let's get you girls inside." I push open the door and help Ivy with her shoes.
Once he coat and shoes are off, she starts playing with Wellington. They take turns chasing each other. Ivy is laughing and Wellington's tail is going a mile a minute. Anastasia hands me a glass of wine and stands next to me as we watch Ivy. She is just the sweetest.
Elliot's POV:
Christian is acting like a completely different person. We all watch from the window as Christian chases Ivy. Mother starts to cry. "What the fuck is going on" I ask.
"He's finally come out of his shell." Father says.
My brother is finally happy.
Anastasia's POV:
Watching Christian and Ivy makes me smile. He absolutely adores her and she adores him. I decide to take this time to talk to Grace. She's the closest thing I have to a mother.
"Grace," I say, "do you want to make eggnog?" I know this is strange since I am a guest in her house.
"I would love to." We walk in silence to the kitchen. She tells me she's never made it before. I get out the ingredients and tell her what to do. We talk about work, Christian, the trial, and my family.
"No, I haven't heard from my mother."
"That's a shame, dear. I don't want to overstep my boundaries, but you deserve better."
"I have a better family now." We both smile as we finish heating it up.
"How's Ivy adjusting?"
"She's doing better than we expected. She asks about you and Christian a lot."
"He's great with her isn't he?"
"I know. It's like bringing Mia home all over again."
"He told me a bit about that. I can't imagine how difficult that must have been for you."
"It was, but things have never been better, Anastasia."
"He's not the same person I met."
"You ready to hand out the eggnog?" She looks and me and asks.
"Yup."
"We head into the room where everyone was and can't find them. We follow the sound of the piano and as we get closer, I hear Christian singing 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.'" We place the trays on the piano as Christian finishes the song. He has a lovely voice. I swear, there's nothing this man can't do.
"For my next song, I'll need some help." He looks over at me and I shake my head. Yes, Anastasia, come sit." He slides over and I shyly walk over and sit beside him. He starts playing the song 'baby it's cold outside.'
I glance nervously around at everyone before they start clapping. I feel a blush creep up my face. Could this be any more embarrassing?
"Don't be embarrassed, you have a beautiful voice." Christian whispers in my ear.
"Again!" Ivy says enthusiastically.
"I think everyone knows this song." I whisper the name in Christian's ear and he starts to play 'Santa Clause is Coming to Town' It's one of my favourites. I drink some of my eggnog as we start singing. Ivy sings along for the part she knows. My heart warms as I look around at all of the people here tonight. We have become a family. I don't think anything could break my smile right now. We finish and all clap. Kate runs over and whispers in Christian's ear and I glare at her. I know exactly what she's saying to him.
"Anastasia, if you'd join me."
"No" I say deadpan. I'm not doing this in front of the Greys. It was fine in our apartment after a bottle of wine. Not here! She shakes her head and pulls me to my feet. Christian starts playing 'Santa Baby.' Kate and I did a dance routine to Santa Baby for our school's Christmas charity talent show four years in a row. I was hoping she wouldn't subject me to this again, but here we go again. I follow Kate's lead through the dance singing with her. Everyone is staring at us. Thank the stars I'm not in that stupid Santa costume. Although my face is probably the same colour. I keep glancing at Kate who doesn't care what's going on around her. I've always admired her confidence.
We finish and both take a bow as everyone claps. I walk back over to Christian who's now standing and bury my face in his chest. Grace say's it's time for dinner and we follow her into the dining room. On the table there are massive portions of food set out—ham, green beans, biscuits, potatoes, squash and more. Ray and I always ordered Chinese food and watched TV. This is crazy. I sit down and my tummy growls.
"Hungry?" Christian smirks and I nod. We make another toast to the holidays and pass around all the dishes. I put a little bit of everything on my plate. Even the Brussels sprouts. Christian looks over at me then down to my plate and smirks. I smile back and start eating. Of course everything tastes delicious. We talk and laugh. Everyone seems comfortable and happy. Christian places his hand on my knee under the table. Slowly he starts moving his hand closer to my sex. He circles his finger around my clit as I take a sip of my wine and I choke. Everyone looks at me alarmed and I reassure them that it just went down the wrong way. I glare at Christian who is trying to stifle a giggle.
We finish dinner and surround the tree. Ivy won't make it much longer and everyone has some gifts to give her tonight. I grab the container with the sugar cookies I made. I pass them around and everyone takes one. Christian and I hand all of the pyjama sets out to everyone and watch as they open them. We even wrapped Wellington's and he tears through the paper. We have to take the shirt away after so he won't eat it. Everyone smiles and says it's fantastic. Christian and I both snap pictures on our phones. Kate and Elliot hand out gifts for everyone. We open them at the same time and they are custom made stockings for everyone. They're absolutely beautiful. They both assure all of us that no of us are going anywhere. We all have found our place.
Grace and Carrick hand everyone some gifts and when we open them up we see matching Christmas sweaters for each couple. They are ugly, dorky, but adorable. We go around thanking everyone. Lastly Christian and I give Ivy one of those teddy bears that you can record a story into. It's an adorable Husky stuffed animal and she loves it. We clean up and everyone heads into their rooms and I tuck Ivy in. She asks me to tell her a story.
"Once upon a time there was a prince." She cuddles closer to the Husky and I continue. "The prince didn't know it yet, but one day soon he was going to save a princess. When they first saw each other the prince and the princess knew they were destined to be together. After a rough start the prince and the princess moved into a beautiful castle with a tall tower. All the while the prince thought the princess was saving him, but he was saving her. He protected her the best that he could, until one say she was taken away from him. The prince went on a long journey to find and rescue the princess. It wasn't until then that the princess has realized how important the prince's family was to her. They all saved her. They spend all the time that they can together. The princess worries about the prince as much as he worries about her. After some time the prince finally asks the princess to marry him and she says yes. They have a beautiful wedding and live happily ever after with a castle full of children." I look as Ivy who's dead asleep. Christian startles me as I get up to leave and see him in the doors way. I press my finger to my lips signalling him to stay quiet. We walk up the next flight of stairs into Christian's childhood room.
"That was a beautiful story."
"Thank you." I say while slowly peeling myself out of my clothing. I turn around and see Christian without a shirt on. My eyes widen. I walk towards him as lust and desire flood through my body. Once I'm close enough Christian grabs my waist and pulls me into him. He moves one hand up and grabs my ponytail yanking it backwards to get better access to my mouth. His tongue invades my mouth as I moan. His free hand travels south down my back and grabs my ass.
"Oh, Anastasia." He moans.
In one swift movement, he picks me up and places me on the bed. He shuffles on top of me yanking down my panties. Kissing me again he unclasps my bra and throws it. Christian grabs my breasts, but doesn't stay long. Christian is on a mission. He pulls off his jeans exposing his already hard erection. He slides the tip of his penis in slightly and pulls out. I growl in frustration as he does it again and again. He trusts into me and I cry out. Oh good god. He continues thrusting filling me up. I match him thrust for thrust and we climax together. What was that?
"I have wanted to do that since your little dance routine." Christian says breathlessly answering my unasked question. He's been doing that a lot and it's kinda freaking me out.
"Well I'm satisfied."
"We aim to please, Miss Steele." He pulls me into him and presses his nose into my hair inhaling deeply. "You smell amazing." "Thank you." I stand up and scramble around for our pyjamas. I prefer to sleep naked, but we doing need anyone walking in on us. We both fall asleep easily.
I wake up to a high pitch shriek and jump up. I look and Christian has jumped up as well.
"It's Christmas." Ivy screams. Phew!
"Merry Christmas, Ivy." I wrap my arms around her. Christian and I throw on our plaid pyjamas. We walk down stairs and see Mia and Ethan walking around like zombies in there let it snow pyjamas. Grace and Carrick walk downstairs with Ivy in there gingerbread pyjamas.
"Where are Kate and Elliot?" I ask to anyone who will give me an answer.
"Just getting dressed, dear." Grace says "Who wants breakfast?" Everyone follows her into the dining room where there is bacon, eggs, and pancakes for everyone. We don't wait for the stragglers and dig in. Ten minutes, later Kate and Elliot join us in their Tartan plaid pyjamas. Of course Kate looks fabulous. We eat and talk.
"Can we open presents now?" Ivy says once the table has been cleared.
"Yes we can." Carrick says carrying her over to the tree. Someone has arranged the presents around the tree into piles for everyone. Christian's pile and Ivy's pile are beside mine. Christmas was never this organized in my house.
"Anastasia has to open this first!" Christian declares and passes it to me.
"Alright, sweetie." Grace nods at me and I carefully unwrap the paper. Inside is a brand new Rebel EOS T3i.
"Oh my god." I say "It's wonderful." I give him a hug as a kiss.
"It's all ready to go so you can take pictures this morning." I smile and take the camera out of the box. The whole time we're opening presents I'm snapping pictures.
Grace loves the gifts I bought for her. One is a necklace that says thank you for raising the man of my dreams. Another one is a bracelet with wire shaped like a heart. I also bought her a personalized clip board for when she works.
For Carrick I bought whiskey stones, a fountain pen, Prada golf shoes, steak knives and a Hartmann duffel bag.
Christian was difficult what do you buy for the man who has everything? I made him a book of firsts we've shared. Everyone though it was wonderful. I added some spots for the future that man him smile. Such as 'First kiss as husband and wife' and 'First child'. Grace liked that one a lot. She gave us a lecture on giving her multiple grandchildren. One of my favourites was the iPad cover I gave him that says 'I'd tell you but then you'd have to sign a NDA'. Everyone got a chuckle out of that.
Ivy loved all of her gifts. I am a big believer in not giving children gender specific toys. I bought a kitchen set and a home depot workshop. Grace loved the doctor's kit I gave her. I bought her all of the leapfrog systems possible, but the best was the Audi R8 kid's car I bought for her to ride around it. Christian was stunned. Once we've finished Christian announces "If you'd all follow me, that be wonderful." Giving them all a week and everyone get's giddy. There is something going on, but I don't know what. "Ana, I need to blindfold you."
"Fine." He walks over and carefully puts it on. "So many good memories." He whispers in my ear. Christian helps me put on my coat and leads me to the car. I am in the front seat and Kate, Elliot, Grace and Ivy are in the back.
"Where are we going?" I ask frustrated.
"You'll know soon enough."
I feel a little car sick since I'm blindfolded. I am grateful when the car pulls to a stop on what seems to be a gravel road. I don't know.
I hear doors open and Christian helps me out of the car. He is standing at my side when he tells me I can open my eyes. I slowly take off the mask and look towards the most beautiful house I've ever seen.
"Merry Christmas, Anastasia." He kisses my cheek.
"Whose house is this?" I ask confused.
"Ours, silly."
"It's wonderful, Christian!" I turn and face him placing my hands on his cheek. I lean in for a kiss and he bites my lip.
"Wait" I say pulling away. I pull out my phone since I didn't think I'd need my new camera. "For the album." I hold out the phone and Christian kisses me as I snap a picture.
"Our first house" I say with a smile. I take in the house. It is a beautiful Mediterranean-style house. It is made up of soft pink and sand stone. Christian leads me to the large dark wooden doors and opens it for me. He bought me a house. The walls are a primrose yellow. There are elegant old-fashioned crystal light fixtures. He takes me past a large curved, sweeping staircase into the main living room. There is no furniture, but four more crystal chandeliers. It is obvious why Christian dragged me into the room. Outside there is a beautiful stone terrace. Christian leads me through two French doors and I gasp at the view. I stand there lost in the view. Oh my!
"I want to tear down the house and build it, but this view is why I bought the house." Christian says wrapping his arms around me.
"I think it's wonderful." I say "How long will it take to do all of this?"
"Six to eight months. Elliot has already agreed to build. We are going to make it as environmentally friendly as we can."
"I like the sound of that."
"We better getting going we have to start cooking." Grace calls. Christian grabs my hand and we walk outside. He locks to door before we all get back into the car.
Christmas dinner was wonderful and it was great helping Grace and Mia cook. Grace said we are welcome to stay the night, but I want to get home.
