I made it through the Second Phase! I was so surprised by it. Jumping down into the parting of a cliff is not my idea of fun, the coming up on the updraft was the fun part. It was exciting; I had never done anything like that before. Although, I did hold onto my brothers' hand for dear life when he jumped and I was dragged with him.

I was glad Gon was with us. He's got the nose of s bloodhound which helped him decide when we should have let go. I was glad, that web would have snapped otherwise.

My back, chest and lungs still hurt from being rammed twice into a tree by that giant pig with the huge nose. Maybe I should ask Leorio about it, he does doctor stuff. Or my brother, he always knows what's best…

We all got onto the airship; I couldn't help but rub my back slightly. When I noticed I was lagging behind I quickly jogged over to my brother and looked around at the giant blimp. I flinched every time I bumped into someone. Kurapika must have noticed as he looked at me questionably.
"Are you Okay?" He asked making me look up to him. I could feel the airship begin to lift into the air, the setting sun made me squint slightly and look down so that I wouldn't hurt my eyes.
"My back, chest and lungs really hurt after being rammed into a tree by the pig twice." I admitted to him as he thought to himself, crossing his arms over his chest. I looked at me smiling a serious like smile after he was done thinking.
"Let's talk to Leorio. He can do a thorough check up to make sure nothings broken." My brother said as I nodded my head. There was only so much my brother could check, and sadly things like lungs were not one of them. Although he'd be able to feel if I broke anything, he wouldn't be able to check my lungs. My big brother quickly looked me over, he sighed slightly to himself.
"You're already starting to bruise; I can see it forming near your collar bone." My big brother said as I looked down. I could see the bruise starting to form above my dress and furrowed my brows. It was no wonder my clothing was irritating me.

We found Leorio and quickly jogged up to him. He had gone somewhere but I wasn't too sure. Same with Gon and Killua. I could only guess they were exploring the airship.
"Leorio!" Kurapika shouted making the tall man stop and look over to us with an eyebrow raised in question. We caught up with him and stopped in front of him. I could feel Kurapika look at me making me fidget slightly before looking back up at Leorio.
"Could you see if I'm Okay? My lungs, back and chest really hurt." I asked him furrowing my brows as I looked at him from under my eyelids.
"Sure." He said nodding his head. He began leading us somewhere, stating he had passed a nurse's office when he was looking for the bathroom and that we could borrow there. It would also have the equipment he didn't carry around with him; like the thing to listen to my breathing.

Once reaching the room I stood in the middle looking around. It was a pure white room with white cupboards and white counters. Leorio found the listening equipment and walked behind me.
"I'm just going to listen to your lungs so you need to move your dress down a little. Is that alright with you, Kurapika?" Leorio said looking over to my brother, who was leaning against one of the counters keeping a close eye on both of us. He looked stern and nodded his head slightly. I took off my shoulder bag and quickly walked over to my brother to look after for me. I placed it next to him and smiled widely at him before walking back over to Leorio. I quickly undid the knot in the sleeves of my arms and brought them forward allowing me to move my dress down slightly. I had my arms in front keeping the front of my dress up as best as I could, the sleeves were in a crumpled pile over my semi crossed arms. I leaned forward like Leorio had told me to.
"You're bruised on your back. But it's not broken or damaged." He said as he pressed something cold against the middle of my back making shiver run the full length of my spin.
"Take some deep breathes." He told me as I began taking some deep breathes like he said.

He removed the cold piece of metal.
"Okay stand up straight." He told me as I nodded my head and did so. I watched as he walked in front of me and leaned down so he was my height as I only just about came up to his waist. Kurapika had moved around himself so he could watch what was going on and leaned against the wall with his arms crossed over his chest.
"I need you to lift your dress up so I can see your stomach. Is that okay with you, Kurapika?" Leorio asked turning his head annoyingly to my brother. Kurapika nodded his head slightly once more. Leorio nodded his head and looked forward. I quickly lifted up my dress and stopped once it was above my stomach. I could see a huge blue and purple mark on my stomach; it looked like it continued further up. Leorio pressed his hand down on my stomach slightly making me wince. He then pressed his hands onto his sides, which didn't make me wince.
"Well, it looks like just bruising, nothing more serious. Lift your arms up." He said as I nodded and dropped the fabric that was in my hands and lifted my hands into the air. Leorio pressed a hand against the middle of my chest making me wince again.
"There definitely isn't anything broken, just a lot of bruising." He said as I nodded my head and started tying the arms of my dress behind my back again so that the pin stayed up straight and didn't bring the front of my dress forward.

I turned around after straightening out my dress and watched Leorio dig through his suit case. I looked at him questionably as Kurapika watched him as well. He came back over with a needle, making a chill run up my spin again.
"I'm going to give you a painkiller; it'll let you sleep without much disturbance. That's all I can do." He said as I nodded my head. I watched as walked to my side and slipped the needle into my arm making me look at it in disturbance. It felt weird having something shoot up inside my arm; it was cold and made me squirm a little. He removed the needle and stood up straight again.
"There, that wasn't so bad was it? They'll kick in in half an hour." He said walking back over to the suit case again. I poked the little bit of blood that was seeping through the newly created hole and raised an eyebrow at it. I looked back over at Leorio smiling widely.
"Thank you, Leorio!" I said happily to him as he looked away slightly embarrassed.
"Yes, thank you, Leorio." Kurapika said smirking at him making the grown man even more embarrassed.
"I-it was nothing." He said as he picked up his suit case. I looked over to my brother, smiling widely at him.
"I'm going to go look for Gon and Killua now Okay?" I asked him as he shook his head. I looked at him questionably.
"There's a meeting we must all attend. I'm sure they'll be there." Kurapika said as I nodded my head in understanding. I walked over and grabbed my bag once more and gently placed it over my shoulder as to not irritate the bruising forming on the whole of my chest, stomach, collar bone and back. I left the nurses office with Kurapika and Leorio.

We got to a big hall. There were a lot of people about, but not as many as when they first started. Originally, there was four hundred and seven; me being the four hundred and seven people. Now there looked to be a little over forty. I spotted Gon and Killua near the front and smiled widely.
"Gon! Killua!" I shouted over as waved as they turned their heads slightly. Gon smiled and waved back as Killua just smiled back. I quickly jogged over to the two and stood next to Killua making him in the middle of me and Gon. Gon smiled back widely at me and Killua smiled back a small smile. I was used to it; he seemed like that kind of person. Leorio stood next to me with his hand in his pocket and Kurapika stood next to him.

We looked forward and saw Chairman Netero with the small green person standing in front. He was the guy that gave us our badges with the numbers on! Guess he was travelling with the chairman.
"Allow me to introduce myself to the remaining forty-two applicants. I am Netero, Chairman of this year's Hunter Exam Selection Committee." The Chairman said as he looked over all of us.
"I am his secretary, Beans." The small green man said. I could see why, he looked like a bean; his head did anyway.
"Originally, I planned to make my appearance during the exam's second phase, but as I'm already here…" He said and left his sentence to trail.

The air had changed, it felt much different. It made me hold my hands together in front of me and hunch my shoulders slightly, it felt threatening to me; everybody was on edge and waiting to jump at anyone who made a wrong move. Gon, Killua, Kurapika and Leorio all seemed unaffected by the air change.
"I'm loving this tension in the air!" he said. Gon looked over at me and poked me slightly making me look at him to see him smiling widely. I couldn't help but smile widely back and straightened up. I saw Killua yawning, he covered his mouth with his hand. He must have been bored here. Me and Gon started looking around from where we stood.
"So I think I'll stick around for the rest of the trip." He said, chuckling at the end of his sentence. I looked at Beans when he started talking, finding it difficult to keep myself concentrated.
"We are scheduled to arrive at our destination tomorrow morning, at eight AM. You'll find dinner waiting in the dining hall. You are also welcome to get some rest. In other words, you're free to do as you please until you are contacted." Beans said. Killua turned and faced me and Gon, smiling widely.
"Okay, Gon, Mishka! Let's explore the airship!" Killua said as me and Gon looked at him.
"Yeah." Gon said nodding his head as I nodded my head as well enthusiastically.
"Okay!" I said to him. We both turned and followed the white haired boy, excited to see what was on this giant airship.

We had found the kitchen! I don't think we were meant to be in there but we entered anyway and began exploring it. One of the chefs came around when he heard us muttering to ourselves.
"Hey, you kids! Stay out of the kitchen! Go eat in the dining hall!" He said, holding Killua and Gon with one hand by the back of their necks and me with his other after opening the door with his elbow. He held onto the back of my dress. I brought my legs up to my body looking just as confused as Gon and Killua. He then threw us onto the ground making us all winch slightly.
"I think he was mad." I said to them shifting slightly as I landed on my bottom a little awkwardly. Gon and Killua had managed to grab a couple of bird legs from the kitchen before the chef threw us out. I wasn't as quick, or lucky; and that was how we got caught.

The three of us wondered down the hall way, Gon and Killua happily eating their meal as I looked forward to see where we were walking, occasionally picking off bits of meat from Gon's bird leg to eat.
"Wow, awesome! Look, Gon, Mishka!" Killua said running towards the window. He placed both his hands onto the window and pressed his forehead against it to get a better look. We both hurried over to where he was looking.
"Hmm? What is it?" Gon asked when we reached the window. We both pressed our hands against the window as well as foreheads to get a better look.
"It's really pretty!" I said excitedly, staring at the lights glittering below. They looked like little fireflies. It was amazing to see, I hadn't seen anything like it through all my travelling with my brother.
"Whoa! It's like the ground is covered in jewels!" Gon said as I nodded my head.
"I think they look like fireflies!" I said to them, smiling widely with the two boys as we stared at the lights.
"Yeah!" Killua said, nodding his own head. I could hear the buzzing of the airships fans below us, but nothing could ruin this sight.

We had adjusted how we stood. Gon and Killua had their arms crossed on the window ledge whilst I had my elbows propped up holding my face. We continued to stare out of the window.
"Hey, I was wondering…" Gon said as he continued to stare out of the window as if this was the only thing on the airship right now.
"Hmm?" Killua replied, keeping his eyes on the floor below us.
"Where are your mum and dad?" Gon asked him.
"Hmm…they're alive. Probably." Killua said, although he sounded disappointed. I looked at him questionably from the corner of my eyes, wondering what he meant by probably.
"What do they do?" Gon asked him, keeping his eyes on the window as I moved my eyes back towards the window once more.
"They're assassins." Killua said bluntly and flatly. I dropped my arms and crossed them onto the window ledge as I looked at Killua questionably. Gon had turned himself to look at Killua better.
"Really?" I asked him looking at him with an eyebrow raised, although the question was innocent.
"Huh? Both of them?" Gon asked innocently as well.

Killua looked at us both slightly shocked before closing his eyes tightly and laughing his head off.
"That's your first reaction? You two really are a riot!" Killua said making me look at him questionably again.
"Huh?" Gon asked him confused.
"What do you mean?" I asked him as well. All three of us took a seat on the bench by the window. Killua had his legs either side and an elbow propped up against the window ledge. Gon sat with his legs together while facing forward and arms crossed on the window ledge. I sat with my legs together and facing forward and had my hands in my lap. They left the bones from their meals on the window ledge.
"You two are the people who have ever responded seriously." Killua said, keeping his eyes closed with a wide smile on his face.
"But you're not lying, are you?" I asked him looking at him questionably. Killua looked at me innocently as Gon nodded his head in agreement.
"Well, you're telling the trust, right?" Gon asked him as we both looked at him wondering if he was telling the truth. Killua looked at us both blankly with his blue eyes that sat lazily in the palm of his propped hand.
"What makes you say that?" He asked him.
"It's just a hunch." Gon said watching him closely.

Killua turned himself around and sat forward like me and Gon. He leaned lazily on the window seal, placing his head onto the window seal.
"That's weird… People only like me because they can't tell whether I'm serious." He said as he looked out at the window again. The firefly like lights was starting to vanish and instead was being replaced with a bunch of woodland, the lights only becoming further and further away from each other. Killua leaned forward and propped his elbow back onto the window ledge. His chin sat on the palm of his hand while the other arm laid lazily across the ledge.
"I'm from a family of assassins. So they're all assassins. And my family has really high hopes for me… But I can't stand it. Who wants to have their life planned out for them?" Killua said, looking up in question with an eyebrow rose. He turned and looked at us, pulling a face. His eyes went wide.
"When I told them I wanted to decide my own future, they all snapped! My mother had tears streaming down her face, as she told me I have the potential to be a top assassin." He said, moving his hand around. Me and Gon couldn't help but laugh a little, it wasn't funny; but the way Killua said made it sound funny.

Killua leaned forward a bit more, keeping the same wide eyed expression on his face.
"Horrible parents, right? It's natural their kid would go bad. We ended up fighting. So I stabbed my mother in the face, my brother in the side, and ran away from home. I'm sure they're out for blood now." Killua said looking away from us. He placed his finger and his thumb onto his chin and had a sly look in his eyes. I watched in slight shock as to what he was saying. I could never dream of stabbing my brother, or even doing any sort of harm! I couldn't do that; the thought of even trying to do it made me shiver uncomfortably.
"But if they find me, I'll send them packing." He said making Gon and me laugh slightly again. He was being serious, but I couldn't take him seriously with the voice he was pulling.
"When I become a Hunter, I'll start by capturing my family. I'm sure they're worth some hefty bounties…" Killua said in total bliss as he stood up and held his arms out. I and Gon smiled at him awkwardly, whatever made Killua happy I guess.

Gon turned his head towards me smiling widely. Killua sat back down onto the bench after his little blissful fantasy of whatever it was he was fantasying about.
"What about you Mishka? Where are your mum and dad?" Gon asked me. I looked away back out at the window propping my elbows up and placing my chin onto the palms of my hands.
"They're both dead. I didn't quite say that on the boat to Dole though." I said looking out of the window and furrowed my brows slightly. I thought to myself as I dropped my arms again and looked at the two with determination.
"I'm becoming a Hunter to help my big brother track down the people that did it. I wasn't sure back on the boat, but that's what I want to do I'm sure of it now!" I said to the two, the determination never leaving my face. Gon and Killua looked at each other before looking back at me. I sighed slightly and turned back out to face the window.
"But I always hide behind my brother as soon as I get scared. I'm not brave or very strong and I only know a little martial arts from what my big brother taught me. So I have to become stronger to show I can do it." I said, leaning my chin onto my crossed arms on the window seal. I could see all our reflections in the window. Gon smiled widely at me as Killua did the same. I could help but smile widely at the two back, bringing my head up from my arms. They were great friends, I even went as far as thinking of them as best friends; I was glad to have met them.

We all continued chatting about odd little bits. Killua was the first to jump up at something, Gon did the same and I did so last. It felt like someone was staring at us and if I could feel it than it must have been strong. We all looked to where we felt like we were being stared from. Killua had his eyes wide as if he just witnessed something horrid or scary.
"Something wrong?" A voice said, making us turn her heads in the direction it was coming from. We saw Chairman Netero walk towards us calmly. I furrowed my brows slightly and looked back at the hall way before looking back at Chairman Netero once more. Killua looked at him bitterly as me and Gon stood behind the white haired assassin. Gon started at him with his mouth slightly open as I looked at him a little confused.
"Ah, Netero…Did you see anyone coming from that side?" Gon asked pointing to where we felt the stares. I nodded my head agreeing with him.
"It felt like we were being stared at." I said to him, placing my arms behind my back and loosing holding my hands by the fingers. Chairman Netero shook his head.
"No." He said making me nod my head a little disappointed.

Killua continued to stare at him before speaking up. He had a confident grin on his face.
"You're pretty fast for an old man." Killua said to him simply, full of certainty in his voice. I looked at him in amazement and slight confusion.
"You think it's Chairman Netero?" I asked him as Killua nodded his head, never taking his eyes off the old man with the long ponytail. Chairman Netero leaned forward a little bit, looking at Killua.
"That little trick? I barely moved." Netero said smiling widely with his eyes closed. Killua looked at him glaring as me and Gon watched the little discussion between the two. We looked at each other and shrugged our shoulders slightly and gave a nervous laugh before looking back at Killua and Chairman Netero. We looked between the two; the air had gotten more threatening.
"What do you want? You don't have anything to do until the last Phase, right?" Killua asked him seriously, his eyes never leaving the old man. Chairman Netero didn't seem fazed by Killua's hostility though, in fact he didn't really take notice of it.
"No need to be so unkind. I got bored, and was looking for some companions." He said back to Killua.

Killua remained tense and threatening looking. Chairman Netero closed his eyes and smiled at the three of us.
"By the way, I meant to ask the three of you… Any thoughts on your first attempt at the Hunter examination?" He asked us. Gon smiled widely at him and nodded his head excitedly, looking back at Chairman Netero.
"Uh-huh! It's fun! And there haven't been any of the written exams I was dreading." Gon told him honestly. I smiled up at Chairman Netero myself as I answered next.
"It's been really tough but I guess fun too! I'm glad about no writing exams as well." I said to him, continuing to smile widely. I saw Killua shift slightly from the corner of my eyes.
"I'm disappointed… I expect the exam to be far more difficult. I assume the next Phase will be more entertaining?" Killua said, keeping his threatening stance and bored sounding voice. He looked bored, but threatening at the same time; he really didn't like Chairman Netero for whatever reason. Chairman Netero looked away to the ceiling after Killua spoke his thoughts.
"Well, now… I wouldn't know about that." He said, his voice hinting at something; but whatever it was hinting at I couldn't tell.

Killua turned around, getting bored with the whole situation.
"Let's go, Gon, Mishka!" Killua said as he began walking away. Me and Gon looked at each other a little shocked before looking back at Killua and his retreating back.
"Now wait just a moment." Chairman Netero said making Killua stop in his tracks. Me and Gon looked at him as he began speaking once more.
"Would you care to play a game with me?" Chairman Netero said, making Killua turn his head a little bit to look at him from the corner of his eyes.
"A game?" Gon questioned as I looked at the Chairman confused as well.
"What type of game?" I asked him, wondering what he could mean by game. He ignored both mine and Gon's question though and continued his attention on Killua.
"If you are able to defeat me, I shall let you be Hunters!" Chairman Netero said. Gon smiled widely and curled his hands into fists and brought them up to his chest, looking at the Chairman excitedly. I couldn't help but smile widely myself.
"Really? I'll play!" Gon said making me nod my head quickly in agreement with Gon. If that was the case then I was definitely going to play, if I could become a Hunter just by winning this game. It made me feel excited on the inside, my stomach felt light again as I looked at him excitedly. Killua turned around to face the Chairman better, his face still looking as serious and threatening as it did before when he started walking away.
"How about it, eh?" Chairman Netero asked him, wondering what Killua's answer would be. He gave him a small smile, awaiting his answer.

We had followed Chairman Netero to the hall again. I stood next to Gon and Killua; Killua had his hands once again in his shorts pockets. Chairman Netero had taken off his robes to reveal a black best top and white training clothes underneath. He took off his shoes and socks as well. Me, Gon and Killua watched as he bounced a yellow and brown ball up and down, before catching it on his finger. He spun it on his finger as he stood on one leg.
"Now, I'll go over the rules of the game. If you can take this ball from me, before the airship reaches its destination, you win." He said making the three of us look up at the clock in the room. It said it was nearly eleven o'clock. It was so late.
"I believe that we're scheduled for an eight AM arrival? Well, that still gives you nine hours. You're free to attack me however you'd like. I won't touch you." Chairman Netero said. I looked at him and furrowed my brows slightly.
"That's not very fair on you." I said to him as Gon nodded his head.
"That's too easy. You can't call that a game." Gon said as I nodded my head agreeing with him. Chairman Netero bounced the ball up and down on his finger as he watched it, taking his eyes off us.
"Why not give it a try first?" He said continuously bouncing the ball up and down. Killua turned around to face him fully this time; the threatening and bored gaze had left his face.
"We just have to take the ball?" Killua asked as the Chairman looked at us with an eye closed. He stopped bouncing the ball on his finger.
"Yeah." Chairman Netero said simply.
"Then I'll go first." Killua said to him making Chairman Netero close his eyes and lower his head slightly.
"Go ahead." He said simply once more.

Killua began walking past me and Gon slowly. The serious, threatening look returned to his face as he walked. Suddenly, it looked like there was multiple Killua's walking around. Me and Gon looked at him amazed at what he was doing. Chairman Netero did the same as we continued to watch Killua circle the Chairman.
"It looks like there is loads of him!" I said with an amazed look on my face. Gon nodded his head as he continued watching as well, wondering with me which one was the real Killua.
"I see lots of Killua's!" Gon said as I nodded my head agreeing with him. We were both absolutely amazed by what he was doing. Chairman Netero had placed a hand on his hip as he watched the young assassin. Killua suddenly stopped and went to grab the ball from Chairman Netero's side. He missed and landed on his feet before pushing off the ground and throwing punches at Chairman Netero; he even threw in a kick making him spin upside down. Chairman Netero jumped over him making him miss the ball. He then placed a hand on top of Killua's head keeping the ball fair out of reach from him. He even went as far as doing a handstand with the hand he was using to spin the ball and held it with his feet.

Me and Gon continued watching. Gon smiled widely in amazement as Killua went in to make some more grabs for the ball and Chairman Netero dodged every single one of them with ease, as if Killua wasn't even trying to grab it. I could see the look on Killua's face; he was getting annoyed by playing this game with the Chairman. Killua landed on his feet away from the Chairman and looked at him from other his shoulder. Chairman Netero caught the ball with his finger once more, not even breaking a sweat.
"What? That's it?" Chairman Netero asked and threw the ball into the air with his finger. He caught it on his head as if he was a seal, no longer looking at Killua. Killua took this chance to go after Chairman Netero and once again launched himself at the old man. Killua threw a kick onto the leg Chairman Netero was standing on. Gon recoiled at the sound and sight as I did the same wincing at the sound.
"Ouch… Right on his pivot leg!" Gon said closing one eye.
"That sounded like it hurt!" I said continuously watching the assassin with Gon. Killua was smirking at the Chairman whose facial expression didn't change. Soon, it was Killua expression that changed. He stood up and started jumping about on one foot, holding the leg he had used to kick him with his hands.
"Ow!" Killua said jumping back to use while holding his leg. I couldn't help but wince slightly, it looked really painful.

Gon started waving his hand in the air.
"Killua! Tag! Tag! It's my turn!" Gon said waving his arm. Killua started walking back towards us, limping slightly from hurting his leg. The two slapped hands in the air as Killua stood next to me and Gon walked forward instead with a determined look on his face. Gon started going some stretches, first he did squats, then he interlinked his fingers and stretched them above his head, then he dropped down and pushed down slightly on the knee of his extended leg and swapped sides and last but not least; he slapped his eyes. I'm not even sure why he did that. He looked at Chairman Netero seriously.
"Okay!" He said looking at him with his feet wide apart. I was interested to see how Gon would try and take the ball. Chairman Netero had the ball balancing on his head and continued to stand on the same one leg. I raised an eyebrow slightly wondering if there was something wrong with his other leg for him not to stand on it. I shoved the thought to the back of my head and went back to watching Gon once more. It was at that moment that Gon rushed forward with amazing speed. I looked at him wide eyed.
"He's so fast!" I said in amazement as Killua nodded his head. When he got closer to Chairman Netero Gon jumped up high. I continued to watch him utterly amazed, until he whacked his head on the ceiling. I winced and looked away slightly closing an eye.

Gon landed on the floor on his knees holding his head. Killua had sat down with one leg propped up and the other flat on the ground. I continued to stand.
"Ow!" Gon shouted as he fidgeted whilst holding his head. It looked painful.
"Idiot! We know that you can jump really high! Control your strength! For a moment, the old man relaxed his guard!" Killua shouted over to Gon who was still grovelling on the floor with his hands on his head. Killua crossed his arms annoyed and closed his eyes pouting. I couldn't help but laugh slightly at his reaction and looked over to Gon once more.
"Me next! I'll try!" I shouted over, holding my hand in the air. I wasn't looking forward to it, I was actually really nervous waiting for my turn to try and go against the old man. Gon stopped rolling about on the floor and stood up rubbing the back of his head with one hand as he began walking around. Chairman Netero had the ball balanced on his head still.
"I messed up there." Gon said as he walked over. We clapped our hands together in the air, singling to was my turn to try and get the ball.

Gon took a seat next to Killua as I walked forward and took off my bag putting it beside Gon. I bounced on the spot on my toes watching Chairman Netero carefully, trying to decide what to do. It was then that I ran at him and then dropped to the floor sliding under him. I pushed myself up from the ground and made an attempt to grab the ball only to have Chairman Netero move out of the way causing me to land on my face. I brought my head up and rubbed my nose with my hands whilst going cross eyed to try and look at my nose. It stung a lot. I winced when I stood up, the bruise on my chest started stinging. I could feel the bruise on my chest and collar bone sting. I thought the painkillers would have kicked in by now. I turned around and looked at Chairman Netero again with a determined look on my face. I ran at him again and this time made a leap the ball first time, Chairman Netero moved to the side as I landed with my hands on the ground and made a roundhouse kick for his side. The Chairman wasn't expecting that and my foot connected. Like Killua I instantly moved away and sulked off to the side rubbing my foot.
"Ow!" I shouted myself rubbing my foot with my eyes closed tightly.
"Didn't you see me kick his leg?! The same thing happened!" Killua yelled over as I looked over to him keeping my eyes closed tightly and my face scrounged up.
"I didn't know his side would be like steel!" I shouted back over and began walking back once Killua stood up. I clapped hands with Killua, walking on my toes with the foot I used to kick Chairman Netero with and sat down next to Gon where Killua was sitting. My foot hurt, a lot.

It had been several hours from when we started playing with Chairman Netero. It was now the early hours of the morning. Gon had taken off his jacket and thrown it to the floor leaving him in his white vest top and shorts. Killua had taken off his top shirt so that he was only wearing his long sleeved one and shorts. I didn't take off any clothing, because if I did then I would have been standing around and playing in my pink underwear, and I didn't feel like doing that. Instead I had taken off my shoes and tied my hair into a ponytail with my blue and red ribbon to try and keep my neck cool. Having no shoes on seemed to be working for Chairman Netero so I wondered if it would work for me. Me, Gon and Killua were all huffing and sweaty from trying to get the ball. At the moment, it was Killua's turn as me and Gon stood on the side lines. Gon and me both had our hands on our knees as we breathed heavily watching Killua take his turn again.

Killua threw some punches and some kicks at Chairman Netero, trying his best to grab the ball from his hands; but the Chairman just outstretched his arm keeping it far was Killua's grasps.
"Chairman Netero isn't even getting tired." I said to Gon watched the two as Gon nodded his head watching as well. The Chairman had let go of the ball making Killua slammed his head into the back of Chairman Netero's head and fell back to the ground. Chairman Netero caught the call with his finger once more as if it was nothing. He turned back around and placed a hand on his hip as he looked at Killua who was on his hands and knees on the floor gripping his face.
"You boys and girl aren't getting anywhere. Why not attack simultaneously?" Chairman Netero said to us smiling down at Killua making me gasp in surprise. He just gave us a hint. Killua looked up and leaped at Chairman Netero once more.
"Why, you!" Killua shouted at the Chairman as he rushed towards him. Gon stood ready as I did the same.
"Okay…I'll get you this time!" Gon shouted rushing at him.
"No holding back now!" I shouted myself and ran after Gon towards Chairman Netero. The chairman simply moved out of the way of Killua, slammed Gon's head into the ground with his hand and stopped me by slamming his other hand into my face keeping me from moving forward. The Chairman did this all whilst keeping his feet off the ground. The ball flew off someone to the side.

The Chairman kept pushing the ball out of our way or jumping over us or even just simply moving away; anything to stop us from getting the ball. All the while he was just laughing. Gon stopped in front of Chairman Netero as me and Killua stood behind him. I rubbed the sweat off of my forehead and breathed in deeply. The painkillers had kicked in once more, so I was able to move more freely. Gon rushed at him first throwing in some kicks, then Killua trying to grab the ball from behind him on one side and then I tried to grab the ball from the other side. We three of us then went to try and grab the ball together only to hit our heads together as the Chairman jumped out of the way.
"Ow!" We all shouted at the same time after we collided. We rubbed our heads as the Chairman started laughing once more and balanced the ball on top of his head. I watched as Gon leaped at him again, the Chairman said something but I couldn't hear. Gon then lifted his leg and kicked him but he missed; his boot didn't though as it flew off his foot and whacked Chairman Netero in the face. Killua came up behind him and kicked the Chairman in the back of the head.
"A chance!" Killua said going for the ball with a large smile on his face.

The Chairman didn't seem down for the count though, and kicked the ball out of Killua's reach once more. He then leaped for the ball himself only to have it being kicked away by Gon's other boot.
"You and your little tricks!" I heard the Chairman shout as I ran and slid underneath him and then launched myself at the ball along with Gon and Killua.
"It's mine!" All three of us shouted as we reached out with one hand to grab the ball and flew through the air ourselves. Just as we were about to touch it the Chairman flew over me, knocking me to the ground and Gon and Killua to the sides. All three of us landed on the floor on our lower backs with a bang as the Chairman landed sliding across the floor with the ball dragging across the floor. We looked at the Chairman as we leaned back onto her hands with our knees up. Gon looked surprised as I furrowed my brows. Killua looked livid.

The Chairman stood with one foot off the ground again and balanced the ball on one finger.
"I commend you on your efforts." Chairman Netero said as he looked at us. Gon smiled widely at him in amazement. I looked at the darkened patch on the floor with smoke rising from it.
"You're amazing, Netero! Really amazing!" Gon said, amazement leaking from his voice. I heard shuffling and looked over to Killua who was standing up slowly, looking angry.
"Forget it… I give up. I lose!" He said and turned around to grab his shirt once me. Me and Gon watched him walk away confused. Chairman Netero watched him with one eye open.
"But we were so close this time!" I yelled over to Killua as I stayed seated on the floor and looked at him upside down, leaning on my hands that stayed behind me. Gon stood up and pointed to the clock smiling.
"Why? We still have time. And just now, like Mishka said, we came really close." Gon said as I nodded my head and stood up myself. I brushed down my dress and turned to look at Killua fully to see him swinging his shirt over his shoulder. He looked over to us, annoyed.
"Jeez. You two really have no clue, do you? The old man has barely used his right hand and his left leg." Killua said making Gon drop his arm in shock and lose the smile. He looked at Killua shocked as to what he said. I looked at him questionably and turned my head slightly to look at Chairman Netero, then looked back at Killua again who had his head hung low.
"But we're still powerless against him. We could chase him for a year, and never take the ball from him." Killua said as me and Gon looked back to Chairman Netero again.

The Chairman threw the ball into the air slightly and placed his free hand onto his hip as he looked at Killua with shock. He caught the ball in the open palm of his hand.
"Oh, you figured it out? And here, I thought I'd fooled you." Chairman Netero said Killua. I could hear Killua walk away and looked back at him before looking at Gon when he spoke.
"So that's what he was doing." Gon said still looking at Chairman Netero. I heard Killua laugh and looked at him.
"You really know how to piss me off, old man." Killua said making me gasp and cover my mouth.
"That's dirty!" I shouted back at him through my hand covered mouth as Killua looked at me a little bored; his shirt still flung over his shoulder and hand in his pocket.
"No it's not. Let's go, Gon, Mishka!" Killua said as he began walking away. I looked between the two but stayed routed where I was.
"Oh, I'm gonna play a little longer." Gon said making Killua bring his head from behind the door. He looked over to me, looking mad.
"Let's go, Mishka!" He shouted over as I shook my head and looked at him apologetically.
"We were really close last time; I think we can get the ball this time so I'm playing to." I said to him furrowing my brows as Killua walked over quickly to both me and Gon, he looked mad at both of us for wanting to stay and play.

I hadn't played any sort of game for a long time, and this was actually the first sort of game I had played for a long time; so I wanted to finish it and win.
"Didn't you hear what I said?! It's useless! You won't be able to take the ball from him!" Killua said to the both of us. I couldn't help but shrink down slightly and stepped a little bit behind Gon, noting how scary Killua was when angry.
"Yeah! I don't care about the ball." Gon said making Killua back off slightly.
"We've only used up half of the time limit. I'm gonna make Netero use his right hand before the time runs out." Gon said happily. Killua looked at me next.
"If I can just touch the ball I'll be happy." I said to him smiling apologetically as he backed off completely.
"I see… Yeah, I got it. Good luck. I'm getting some sleep." Killua said as he turned around and waved me and Gon off then left the hall leaving us two with Chairman Netero.

I felt slightly bad for Killua leaving early when we weren't finished, and I felt really tired, but we were close last time. I took this opportunity and came out from behind Gon and instead moved to the other side of Chairman Netero, holding my hands behind my back.
"Say, Netero… How did Killua do that thing where he walked slowly, and it looked like there was a bunch of Killua's?" Gon asked as I looked up to Chairman Netero.
"It looked really cool!" I said to him excitedly, wondering myself how Killua did it. The Chairman's eyes never left the doors leading to the outside.
"That technique is for those engaged in underground work. You have no need to learn it. In fact, you should not learn it." He said looking at the door as me and Gon looked at him. I could see the ball and twitched my hand getting ready to grab it or even just touch it.
"But it's an amazing technique, right?" Gon asked him enthusiastically with excitement dripping from his voice. The Chairman looked at the ball and began bouncing it up and down with his hand.
"It requires an intensive amount of training." The chairman said as I smiled widely.
"Killua's really amazing!" I said smiling widely as Gon nodded his head and looked towards the door.
"Killua's really something!" Gon said smiling widely himself making me not my head in response. I looked at the ball from the corner of my eye and tried grabbing it, only making the Chairman switch it to his other hand. Gon went for the ball himself and instead we only smacked heads together as the Chairman lifted the ball into the air. We both closed our eyes tightly and scrunched our faces up.
"You fools." The Chairman said as me and Gon pulled our heads away and rubbed out foreheads with our hand. I've been nothing but bruises and bashed today; it was starting to get a little annoying.

Me and Gon started making grabs for the ball again, Gon in front of Chairman Netero with me behind him trying to get it from behind. Gon was aiming more at his hands than the ball as he wanted the Chairman to switch to his other hand. We both looked determined as we made grabs for the ball or in Gon's case the Chairman's hand holding the ball. The Chairman however kept moving out of the way. He began moving back making me move back myself as I tried to grab the ball again. Gon started moving faster, which distracted me a little bit. He launched himself at the Chairman, I watched as he went for the ball but instead head butted Chairman Netero's stomach. I took this opportunity and moved to the side in case he fell backwards and leapt for the ball once more only having a hand land in my face stopping me in my tracks. I moved back holding my face and shook my head hard to try and get my senses back.
"O-ouch!" Both I and Gon shouted at the same time.
"One more time!" Gon shouted as he launched himself towards Chairman Netero's stomach once more. I nodded my head and launched myself to try and grab the ball once again from his empty handed side. Chairman Netero jumped into the air making me slam into Gon slam into the wall behind him with his hand and me slam into the ground on my stomach once more.

Gon laid on his stomach unmoving. I looked over and stood up quickly and made my way over there, furrowing my brows. I sat on my legs and began shaking his shoulder trying to get him to move.
"Gon? Gon wake up!" I said shaking his shoulder hard.
"Ah, is he dead?" Chairman Netero said in shock as I continued shaking Gon's shoulder trying to wake up him. Gon struggling to get up and then quickly sat on his legs in front of me looking over at Chairman Netero smiling widely. Gon had a big red mark on his forehead. I looked over myself to see what Gon was smiling about. He started laughing taking the Chairman back by surprise. I smiled widely myself when I saw what Gon was smiling widely about.
"You just used your right hand!" Gon said proudly, making Chairman Netero look at his left hand and then back at Gon. Gon smile got wider as he threw his arms and legs into the air.
"I did it! Hooray…"He shouted before falling onto his back with his arms outstretched. I looked at him worriedly, but calmed down when I could still see him breathing. He fell asleep after cheering. I smiled widely and got up stiffly and walked over to where my shoes were. Chairman Netero walked over to the wall and started dialling in a number and held the phone to his ear, a hand on his hip.
"Hello, helmsman? It's me. Is the flight going well? I see. I'm sorry to ruin it for you, but could you fly a little slower?" He asked the helmsman. He nodded his head and gave his thanks before looking over to me smiling. I looked back up at him as I picked up my shoes.
"You best go to sleep as well." He said as I smiled widely and nodded my head. I placed my bag quickly over my shoulder and walked to the door. I stood by the door and turned to face Chairman Netero with a wide smile on my face, no longer interested in getting the ball.
"Thank you Chairman Netero. It was really fun!" I said to him and exited the hall, quietly shutting the door behind me and smiled widely to myself.

I began wondering the halls looking around for my brother. I opened the door quietly until I found him. He was under some covers next to Leorio sleeping calmly. I entered the room myself and shut the door quietly behind me. Walking over quietly I could feel the cool floor on my feet. I felt really sore, even after the painkillers Leorio gave me, even my feet felt sore. I placed my shoes next to me quietly as well as my bag. Quietly slipped in next to my brother under the covers and leant on my arm so I didn't have to sleep with my back against the wall. I used my brothers' arm as a pillow and held onto it tightly with my other hand and felt my eyes shut slowly, drifting off into sleep myself. When I woke up, we would hopefully be at the exam site ready the begin the third exam.
