Grace glanced down at the floor for a minute.

"Are you going to answer me?" Jack said intrigued.

"Do you want to know the honest truth?" Grace said seriously as she looked at Jack in the eyes.

"Yes I do." Jack said concerned.

"All right...I accepted your proposal because...I felt sorry for you." Grace said sadly.

"What do you mean you felt sorry for me?" Jack said confused.

"Um...This is hard to say but...I felt sorry for you because I thought that I would be the only girl who would want to marry you...Let alone be your girlfriend after I graduated high school since you have some baggage." Grace said honestly.

"What the hell are you talking about? I thought you loved me." Jack said a little irritated.

"I did...but after you got beat up...I thought I owed my life to you...but after we broke up, I realized that I owe my life to God...and no one else...Besides, you have Chloe now and I'm happy for you...It makes sense that she wants to be with you since you saved her life." Grace said seriously.

"I can't believe you, Grace...You wanted to marry me because you pitied me? You heartless and selfish harlot...Is that why you married Ricky? He has more baggage than me." Jack said angrily as he raised his voice.

"Jack...I didn't mean it like th-" Grace said defensively as Jack stood up.

"Forget it...You make me sick...I am so glad that I didn't marry you...Good bye Grace." Jack said meanly and he slammed the door.

"Oh dear God...What have I done?" Grace said as she put her hands over her face.

"What just happened? Are you ok?" Ricky said surprised as he walked into the living room and sat by Grace.

"It doesn't matter...I'll probably never see Jack again." Grace said sadly as her eyes got watery.

"Because you're a heartless and selfish harlot, right?" Ricky said sarcastically as he put an arm around Grace.

"That's not funny." Grace said a little irritated as she wiped her eyes with her sleeve.

"Sorry...I overheard Jack yelling...Just forget about him for now...You married me." Ricky said kindly as he rubbed Grace's back.

"I know but...he asked me why I accepted his proposal...I told him the truth and he got angry." Grace said worried.

"Oh...Maybe you're a little too honest, Grace." Ricky said concerned.

"Am I? Am I too honest? Wouldn't you rather know the truth and be in pain than be happy and live a lie?" Grace said sternly as she looked at Ricky in the eyes.

"I'm sorry...and you're right...Knowing the truth is better than living a lie...I'm sure Jack will be fine...Where did he go anyway?" Ricky said sincerely and then intrigued.

"He was with Duncan...Wait...what if he said all those mean things because he's upset that we eloped?" Grace said honestly.

"Are you serious? He has Chloe...why would he care that we're married?" Ricky said seriously.

"That's a good question...Maybe you should talk to him at school." Grace said intrigued.

"I can try...But I was thinking I could do this first." Ricky said nicely as he smirked and pulled Grace closer to him.

"What exactly are you referring to?" Grace said sweetly as she smiled.

"Ha ha...I love it when you play innocent." Ricky said quietly and he gave Grace a long kiss.

"Mmm...And I like it when you're mysterious." Grace said happily as she blushed.

"Really? Heh...Maybe my little friend could visit yours again." Ricky said seductively.

"Hmm...I don't know about that." Grace said sarcastically as she put her arms around Ricky's neck.

"Ha ha...I love you so much." Ricky said happily as he put his arms around Grace's waist.

"I love you too." Grace said sweetly and she gave Ricky a long kiss.

Meanwhile in New York...

"Thanks for dinner, Amy." Ben said kindly.

"No problem...I love tacos." Amy said sweetly.

"Me too...So...I have some interesting news." Ben said awkwardly.

"News about what?" Amy said intrigued.

"Adrian thinks that Ricky and Grace got engaged or married in Hawaii." Ben said seriously.

"What?! Are you kidding?!" Amy said shocked.

"No I'm not...She saw an engagement ring on Grace's hand on facetime." Ben said honestly.

"No, no, no...There's no way that Ricky would elope for a second time...or at least attempt it." Amy said a little irritated.

"Give Adrian a call and see if she found out." Ben said kindly.

"Wait a minute...Why were you talking to Adrian anyway? She hurt John." Amy said sternly.

"Ugh...Really? You need to get over that, Amy...John is fine." Ben said annoyed.

"Excuse me? I do not want John to learn anything about sex from that..." Amy said angrily.

"Slut? Is that what you were going to say?" Ben said firmly.

"No...I was trying to think of some other word." Amy said annoyed.

"Whatever...Just apologize to her already...I need to shower." Ben said as he stood up.

"Aaargh! I just can't right now, Ben! Go shower!" Amy said in a frustrated tone and Ben walked into the bathroom.

A few minutes later Amy's phone rang.

"Hello?" Amy said intrigued as she answered her phone.

"Hello Amy...I don't know if you heard but...Ricky and Grace got married in Hawaii...I guess that's it for us." Jack said sadly.

"Jack? What are you talking about?" Amy said confused.

"They don't need us anymore...now that they're finally happy." Jack said in a depressed tone.

"Are you ok?" Amy said concerned.

"No...She was my everything and...now she's gone." Jack said honestly as his eyes got watery.

"I'm confused...Grace recovered after getting shot, right?" Amy said worried.

"Yeah she did but...she wanted to marry me because she felt sorry for me, Amy...that's probably why Chloe is with me...I almost died and...I saved Chloe's life so I'm sure she thinks that she owes me her life." Jack said as he started to cry.

"Uh...I'm sorry Jack but I really don't know what to say other than you should talk to Chloe to find out how she really feels...Ben told me that she's been worried sick about you because you were missing." Amy said sincerely.

"I know...but I realized that Grace isn't who I thought she was." Jack said seriously and he hung up.

"What is going on?" Amy said confused to herself.

"Are you ok, Mommy?" John said sweetly as he walked by Amy.

"Hey buddy...Mommy is a little stressed right now...You should play with your toys." Amy said kindly.

"Oh...What is stressed?" John said confused.

"Don't worry about it...Go play." Amy said smiling and John went in his room.

A few minutes later there was a knock on the door and Amy opened it.

"Hey Amy...I wanted to talk to you before we go back to school." Adrian said seriously.

"All right...Come in." Amy said after she took a deep breath and she let Adrian in the apartment.

"Thanks...So...I want to start by saying that I am so sorry for what happened when Omar and I babysat John." Adrian said sincerely.

"Ok...I forgive you...What else do you have to say?" Amy said intrigued as she crossed her arms.

"I appreciate that...Ricky and Grace did get married in Hawaii." Adrian said honestly.

"Yeah I know...Jack told me on the phone...He sounded really depressed." Amy said concerned.

"What? Why would he call you?" Adrian said surprised.

"I think he wanted me to feel bad or something because Ricky married Grace." Amy said honestly.

"Wow...I can't believe this...First he goes missing and now he's all depressed?" Adrian said a little irritated.

"I told him that he should talk to Chloe...Hopefully he'll be ok." Amy said sadly.

"Yeah...I wonder if Grace said something that could have upset him." Adrian said concerned.

"Why would Grace have said something to make Jack upset?" Amy said confused.

"They've had other issues so...I don't know...Don't worry about them, Amy...I'll help them." Adrian said seriously.

"Are you sure? They're my friends too." Amy said worried.

"I know but I can handle it...I need to get going so I'll see you and Ben at school." Adrian said kindly.

"All right...I'll let you know if I hear from Jack again...Geeze...I can't believe they eloped." Amy said honestly.

"Me too...I'm still in shock but I'm really happy for them...Anyway, I gotta go." Adrian said smiling.

"Yeah...See ya later, Adrian...Thanks for dropping by." Amy said nicely.

"No problem...Bye." Adrian said sweetly and she left.

Meanwhile at Kathy's house...

"We finally got our English project done." Kathy said relieved.

"Yeah...Hopefully we'll get a good grade on it." Ethan said smiling.

"I bet we will...Since when do I get a bad grade on something?" Kathy said sarcastically.

"Ha ha...Good point...So...I thought I saw Chase at the mall earlier." Ethan said concerned.

"Oh...yeah...He talked to me for a minute and he still likes me...Can you believe that?" Kathy said honestly and then a little irritated.

"You have got to be kidding...I thought he was over you...What a jerk." Ethan said sternly.

"I know...Hopefully he'll back off soon." Kathy said annoyed.

"He better or I'll have to kick his ass again." Ethan said firmly.

"Heh...You don't have to do that, Ethan...I'm sure he'll leave us alone eventually." Kathy said sweetly as she smiled.

"We'll see...Woah." Ethan said as he smiled and then surprised as he looked at his phone.

"What is it?" Kathy said intrigued.

"Ricky and Grace eloped!" Ethan said shocked.

"Are you serious? I can't believe it!" Kathy said as her eyes widened and her jaw dropped.

"Yes! Ricky sent me a picture of their rings...This is awesome!" Ethan said happily as he showed Kathy the picture.

"Oh wow! Their rings are very nice! I love Grace's!" Kathy said kindly.

"They are...Ha ha...I gotta call Ricky." Ethan said nicely and he called Ricky.

"Hey Ethan...What's up?" Ricky said happily as he answered his phone.

"I just got your picture...Congratulations Ricky!" Ethan said excited.

"Thank you! I thought you should know...We eloped before Grace got shot" Ricky said honestly.

"Thanks for telling me...How is Grace doing?" Ethan said intrigued.

"She's doing a lot better...It feels amazing to finally be married to her." Ricky said kindly.

"I bet it does...Ha ha...I'm really happy for you two." Ethan said smiling.

"I really appreciate that...So...I got this weird text message earlier...I think it was from the guy who shot Grace." Ricky said nicely and then quietly.

"Do you know who sent it to you?" Ethan said concerned.

"No idea...I haven't tried calling them...What if it's...Bob."Ricky said worried.

"How could that be possible? Isn't he in prison?" Ethan said confused.

"Yeah...But he got moved to a prison in Hawaii...I just don't know what to do." Ricky said honestly.

"Hmm...Maybe you should go to the police station and have them call that number...I don't really know what else you could do." Ethan said seriously.

"That's what I was thinking...But I haven't told Grace yet." Ricky said sadly.

"Really? You should tell her...I mean she is your wife now." Ethan said a little irritated.

"I'll tell her eventually...since she's kind of upset about Jack right now." Ricky said as he sighed.

"What happened?" Ethan said intrigued.

"He's just a little upset that we're married...I'm sure he'll get over it." Ricky said annoyed.

"I hope so...Have you told Amy yet?" Ethan said nicely.

"No...I wouldn't be surprised if she already knows since Adrian does...Do you think she'll be happy for me?" Ricky said concerned.

"Uh...Maybe...You two are friends now but you...Wait...you're not lying about marrying Grace like you did about marrying Amy, are you?" Ethan said awkwardly and then suspiciously.

"Of course not...I learned my lesson from doing that before." Ricky said seriously.

"Whatever you say...I gotta get going since it's almost dinner time...Kathy and I finished our English project." Ethan said kindly.

"Oh...That's good...And you two didn't do anything this week right?" Ricky said intrigued.

"No we did not...All the advice that I've received about sex finally hit me...I can wait to do it." Ethan said honestly.

"Wow...Look at you...I'm really proud of you, Ethan." Ricky said happily.

"Thanks Ricky...I'm proud of you, too...I hope you have a good night." Ethan said kindly.

"No problem...You too...Bye." Ricky said smiling and he hung up.

"How's Ricky?" Kathy said sweetly.

"He's doing great...What do we have for dinner?" Ethan said kindly.

"I would think so since he just got married...That's really exciting! I knew that he and Grace would work out...And we have some Mexican stuff." Kathy said nicely.

"Yeah...Mexican sounds delicious...I'm glad they worked out too but...I would have been ok if they didn't." Ethan said as he smirked.

"Why? Because you still have a crush on Grace?" Kathy said concerned as they walked into the kitchen.

"No...Ha ha...I really thought that Ricky and Amy would have worked out." Ethan said seriously.

"Well...It's a little late for that since she married Ben." Kathy said sternly.

"That's true...Ha ha...Speaking of marriage, do you..." Ethan said nervously.

"Oh...I don't want to get married until after college." Kathy said honestly.

"Gotcha...That's probably a good idea...We are only sixteen." Ethan said kindly.

"Yeah...But...I would be happy to marry you someday." Kathy said sweetly as she blushed.

"And I would love to marry you someday too...I love you." Ethan said happily as he hugged Kathy.

"I love you too." Kathy said nicely and she gave Ethan a short kiss.

Meanwhile at Jack's dorm...

Jack was watching TV when there was a knock on the door.

"Come in." Jack said nicely and Chloe walked in.

"Aww Jack! You're ok! Thank God!" Chloe said relieved as she ran over to Jack and gave him a hug.

"Of course I'm ok...How did you know I was here?" Jack said surprised.

"Your parents told Leo that you came here...Where were you?" Chloe said seriously.

"At Duncan's...I had to talk to him about some stuff...and I just found out that Grace married Ricky." Jack said sadly.

"Oh wow...They're really married?" Chloe said shocked.

"Yeah...They eloped in Hawaii...I can't believe it." Jack said as he looked at the floor.

"You don't seem too happy about it...What's going on?" Chloe said concerned.

"I...I don't know...I feel like a knife has been stabbed through my heart." Jack said honestly as his eyes got watery.

"Oh Jack...I'm so sorry...Do you still have feelings for Grace?" Chloe said sincerely as she rubbed Jack's back.

"No but...she said that she accepted my proposal because she felt sorry for me." Jack said as a few tears rolled down his cheek.

"Did you ask her why she accepted your proposal?" Chloe said concerned.

"Yes I did...Ugh...I probably shouldn't have asked her that." Jack said in a depressed tone.

"It's ok...You wanted to know the truth, right?" Chloe said intrigued.

"Of course I did...but...I don't know what to do...I feel like a part of my life has ended...Because Grace married Ricky...I just can't believe it." Jack said as he wiped his face.

"Listen to me, Jack...I know that this is a shock and that it hurts but...you should turn your negative emotions into positive ones...You should be happy for Grace and Ricky...Getting married should be happy, not sad...Besides, you have me right by your side...I know that I'm not perfect but I'll always be here to help you...because I love you." Chloe said kindly.

"Thank you Chloe...I love you too...and I'll try to be happy for Grace and Ricky." Jack said as he smiled.

"You're welcome...I also brought some chicken and rice if you want some." Chloe said sweetly as she grabbed a plastic bag out of her large purse.

"That smells good...I really appreciate it." Jack said happily.

"It is amazing...Camille made it." Chloe said nicely.

"Mmm...She's a good cook...I don't know what I would do without you." Jack said smiling after he took a bite of his chicken.

"She is...and I can spend the night if you want." Chloe said kindly.

"Really?" Jack said surprised as he grinned.

"Yeah...I can help you forget about Grace and Ricky." Chloe said as she smirked.

"Heh...I don't know about that Chloe...I thought we weren't going to..." Jack said awkwardly.

"We're not...but I was thinking we could start with this." Chloe said quietly and she leaned in close to Jack and gave him a long kiss.

"Ahh...That sounds good to me...I just need to finish dinner first." Jack said kindly.

"Ha ha...Bon appetit...I already ate." Chloe said happily.

Meanwhile in New York...

"Whew...That was a nice shower." Omar said relieved as he walked into the bedroom with a towel wrapped around his waist.

"Really Omar? I'm trying to study." Adrian said annoyed.

"Study what? It's Saturday night." Omar said seriously.

"I'm trying to figure out if Grace and Ricky really got married." Adrian said sternly.

"Why? Don't you trust them?" Omar said concerned as he sat on the bed next to Adrian.

"Just because Grace is my best friend and Ricky is one of my exes, doesn't mean that I completely trust them...He lied about marrying Amy." Adrian said defensively.

"Wow...I can't believe you don't trust them...Didn't you see Grace wearing a wedding ring?" Omar said honestly.

"Yeah but it could just be an engagement ring...Ugh...I haven't found anything online that proves they got married." Adrian said a little irritated.

"Here's what I think, you should trust your friends...Just because they've made mistakes in the past, that doesn't mean they are going to repeat them." Omar said nicely.

"Oooh, Omie...When did you get all smart and sexy?" Adrian said as she smirked.

"Ha ha...It's a gift...Besides, whoever married them might not put marriage licenses online." Omar said happily and then concerned.

"You're right...but I am worried about Jack...Amy said he called her and that he seemed depressed." Adrian said seriously.

"Why would Jack call Amy?" Omar said confused.

"To make her feel bad about Ricky and Grace...Hopefully he's ok." Adrian said honestly.

"He's a strong guy so I'm sure he is...plus he has his girlfriend." Omar said as he smiled.

"Chloe...She seems nice...Anyway...I'm going to get ready for bed." Adrian said sweetly as she closed her laptop and she got out of bed.

"All right...I need to put my boxers on." Omar said as he got out of bed.

"Heh...That's a good idea...I love you." Adrian said kindly as she walked in the bathroom.

"I love you too...Ha ha." Omar said as he laughed and he changed into his boxers.

The next day...

"So are you just going to ignore me all day?" Amy said sternly as she sat on the bed next to Ben.

"You never apologized to me for being angry last night." Ben said seriously as he crossed his arms.

"I'm sorry Ben but...you just upset me because you were defending Adrian." Amy said honestly.

"And why shouldn't I defend her? She's my friend and ex wife." Ben said a little irritated.

"But I'm your wife...You're supposed to take my side, not Adrian's! Besides, we made up while you were in the shower so it doesn't matter." Amy said annoyed.

"That's great, Amy...And how long is that going to last?" Ben said sarcastically.

"What is wrong with you? I thought you wanted us to make up." Amy said confused.

"It's just...you and Adrian have made up before and then you've gotten in arguments again." Ben said sadly.

"Yeah...so what? I can't help it if she can't live without sex for one night." Amy said firmly.

"I think she can...You're not trusting her and I don't know if you ever will." Ben said seriously.

"It takes time to trust someone, Ben...Especially if they make the same mistakes over and over again...I wasn't sure if I could trust you again after I got back with you." Amy said sincerely.

"There's the pot calling the kettle black...You freaking cheated on me with Jimmy and I put up with it...Now I'm not so sure if I should have." Ben said sternly.

"Are you serious? I love you, Ben! We just got married!" Amy said as she raised our voice.

"Yeah I know...But tell me something Amy...Did you marry me just because Ricky didn't?" Ben said intrigued.

"Of course not! You know that I love you...Why are you saying this?" Amy said concerned as she grabbed Ben's hand.

"I...overheard you and Adrian talking last night and...I heard you say that Jack told you to feel bad about Ricky marrying Grace?" Ben said suspiciously.

"Oh...I didn't know you heard that...Jack did call me...I think he's just upset because he lost Grace to Ricky." Amy said honestly.

"Why? He has Chloe." Ben said surprised.

"Yeah but he did go through a lot with Grace...Just like I went through a lot with Ricky so I can feel his pain." Amy said sadly.

"Are you saying that you're sad Ricky married Grace?" Ben said worried.

"I'm not sad...just surprised...and a little disappointed that they haven't told me yet...Why would they tell Adrian and Jack first?" Amy said seriously.

"Maybe they were more comfortable with telling them...It doesn't matter, Amy...At least they're happy now." Ben said nicely.

"I guess...Are you happy?" Amy said sweetly.

"Yes I am...and I'm sorry for getting upset with you...I just wanted you to tell me the truth." Ben said smiling.

"You won't have to worry about that...I will always tell you the truth." Amy said kindly.

"Thanks Amy...I love you." Ben said happily.

"I love you too." Amy said smiling and she gave Ben a long kiss.

A few hours later in LA...

"Everything was so good." Grace said kindly.

"Thank you, honey...So...when were you going to tell me that you and Ricky eloped?" Kathleen said intrigued.

"Oh...I was going to tell you as soon as we got back and here we are." Grace said happily.

"Uh huh...Did you get married before or after you were in the hospital?" Kathleen said concerned.

"Before...Are you upset?" Grace said worried.

"I am surprised that you and Ricky lied to me...But...at least I know now...What was the wedding like?" Kathleen said honestly.

"Thanks Mom...The wedding was very beautiful...It was on the beach." Grace said sweetly.

"I see...and it was legal?" Kathleen said intrigued.

"Of course it was legal! We got a marriage license." Grace said a little irritated.

"Grace...Are you sure? I honestly think that you and Ricky are too young to be married." Kathleen said seriously.

"But we're not too young to live together? You never said that I was too young when I was engaged to Jack." Grace said stubbornly.

"No I didn't but it did cross my mind...He cheated on you anyway which is a sign that he is too young to get married...and from what I remember, you weren't exactly ready to marry Jack either." Kathleen said nicely.

"That's because I didn't love Jack...I was only with him because I felt sorry for him...I thought he would be lonely if I didn't stay with him...but then he cheated and that just made it easier for me to get out of the relationship." Grace said honestly.

"And you're not with Ricky for the same reason? You don't feel sorry for him because Amy left him and married Ben?" Kathleen said concerned.

"No I'm not...I love Ricky with all my heart, Mom...and I am so happy to be married to him...and I know that eloping is not what you would prefer for us, but we wanted to do it." Grace said kindly.

"I'm happy to hear that Grace, but...I'm just afraid that you might find someone else because you are so young...The same goes for Ricky." Kathleen said worried.

"What are you saying? That you don't trust us? Just because all of your marriages didn't work out, that doesn't mean our marriage will fail." Grace said a little irritated.

"I know...and I'm sorry...I just want you and Ricky to be happy." Kathleen said nicely.

"We are very happy...I gotta go...Thanks for lunch, Mom." Grace said as she stood up.

"You're welcome...I love you." Kathleen said smiling as she gave Grace a hug.

"I love you too." Grace said sweetly.

"I also think your dad would be very proud of you, honey...Heh...He would probably be a little shocked at first but...he loves you no matter what and I do too." Kathleen said happily as she let go of Grace.

"Thanks Mom...I know that Dad is proud of me and I think he's proud of you too...for raising me to be the best young woman that I can be." Grace said honestly as shesmiled.

"Aww...Thank you...I'll see you later." Kathleen said happily and Grace left.

Meanwhile at the butcher shop...

"So...I heard that you and Grace tied the knot." Leo said nicely.

"Yeah we did...I couldn't be happier." Ricky said excited.

"Congratulations Ricky! I wish I could have been at the wedding." Leo said happily as he gave Ricky a hug.

"Thank you Leo...It was very beautiful...and we are going to have a second wedding." Ricky said honestly.

"Are ya now? Do you know when?" Leo said intrigued.

"Probably in the summer...We'll see." Ricky said kindly.

"That would be nice...I'm really happy for you, two...Do you know who shot Grace?" Leo said smiling and then concerned.

"Thanks...And I don't know who shot Grace...but we'll figure it out." Ricky said sadly.

"If you need help with it, let me know...By the way, I got you a little something." Leo said nicely.

"I will...What is it?" Ricky said intrigued.

"It's in your mail box cubby...You're welcome." Leo said kindly and he left the butcher shop.

Ricky walked into another room and he unlocked his mail box and saw an envelope.

"Oh my...I can't believe this." Ricky said surprised as he opened the envelope and saw a bunch of cash.

Ricky also found a note that read:

Dear Ricky,

I gave you some cash for your wedding gift...I thought you earned it for working so hard for me and every newly wed couple needs some cash starting out for a house or nice apartment or condo someday...Congratulations on getting married...You should also thank Ethan for telling me this morning...P.S. Don't get greedy because this is the last time that I am giving you extra money.

Love,

Leo

"Ha ha...Ethan...I guess he's smoother than I thought." Ricky said as he smirked and he closed his mailbox after he put the envelope in his pocket.
