On Monday March 4th when Buffy got to school Giles wanted to see her in the library. She had hoped thi would be a quiet day, where she would learn if she mad the Razorbacks. According to Willow's countdown 97 days until graduation, 32 until spring break began. But Giles had to update Buffy on certain things. Kate Lockley wasn't here, but she'd told Giles about the alleged kidnapping ring. Suppossedly they took children to indoctrinate them into devil-worship. Giles told Buffy about rumors of this Satanic underground. It may have been exxagerated by certain people, but it was real. There was a theory that Satanists were able to wipe the memories of the children to prevent them from testifying later. This seemed important, but there was still another problem, Illyria. Illyria was a god-like being from another dimension. In this dimension she could have extraordinary strength, even selectively alter time itself. Clearly she could pose a serious threat to their dimension. Giles didn't like having to tell Buffy about all of this at once, but that was neccessary sometimes.
