Thriller fight!
Chapter 10: Final Boss
Thriller looked at the destruction of New Salem from atop the duck-carrier with saddened heart and an angered look on his face, the screams of people becoming victims of the doctors rampage made his heart sink lower into the sea of sadness surrounding his heart.
"I can't believe that Normie would go to great lengths like that" Thriller turned his head around to see the now-human Frankie walk over to him "we have to stop him before it's too late".
"How? He's unstoppable!" Thriller said "even if I could stop him, I would need all twelve chaos stones to stop him".
"Chaos stones?" Frankie asked.
"They're ancient sources of ultimate power" Thriller said "I had one but Julius took it during our battle and now he has three with the two he has".
"Wait right here" Frankie said as she turned around and walked back to her friends, the monsters were still in a state of shock of becoming human "we need to help Thriller" was all she could say.
"Help? How? We aren't monsters and we lost our powers to that doctor!" Heath said.
"I know, but Thriller says he needs something called Chaos Stones to defeat Duck-Head" Frankie said.
"How do we find them?" Clawdeen asked.
"It's not that simple" Thriller said as he walked over to the group "they're extremely hard to find and me and friends only find one every month or so, there's no possible way we can find the others in time!"
"He's right, Duck-Head will destroy New Salem once we finish finding those chaos stones" Cleo said as she raised her hand over head "it's all over! It's hopeless!"
"I can't believe you would say that!" Thriller snapped at her "nothing's hopeless if you put your mind to it! Duck-Head has never won a battle against me and he's not going to win this one! We just need something to use against him!"
"But our powers are gone!" Deuce said "we don't stand a chance!"
"I still have my powers!" Thriller said "I can use them to distract him and finish him off while you guys evacuate whoever survived the attack!"
"You aren't going out there alone" Frankie said "I'm going to help you! I always thought that fighting was never the answer, but when it comes to protecting everything and everyone you love from certain destruction, I have no other choice but to fight!"
"Thanks Frankie" Thriller said as he smiled at her.
"I too shall assist you" Thriller and Frankie turned around to see Julius walking towards them with the three chaos stones in his hand "you'll need back up against the doctor".
"Thanks buddy" Thriller said and smiled at the alien.
"Don't call me buddy" Julius said as he crossed his arms "I'm still not your friend".
"Sure, buddy" Thriller said, receiving a glare from Julius, Thriller turned back to the group and gave a thumbs up "alright everyone, let's go! Jake! You, Vampiress and Michael can go and find Chiller and his brothers!"
"Yes sir!" Jake said, he stretched out his arms and grabbed Vampiress and Michael…And leapt out of the duck-carrier "I FORGOT I CAN'T FLYYYYYYYYYY…." The sound of screaming was cut out with the sound of trashcans crashing and cats hissing.
"Well that was anti-climatic" Heath said.
"What can I do?!" R.A.P.T.O.R. shouted.
"You can go and try to find something to occupy yourself" Thriller said.
"YAY! I GETS TO FLY THE PLANE!" R.A.P.T.O.R. shouted with joy and ran out of the room, breaking down the door in the process.
"This is going to end badly" Thriller said "I think everyone needs to get off this ship now".
"Allow me" Julius said as he raised a chaos stone in the air and closed his eyes "Master…Control!"
Meanwhile…
Clair ran down the ruined streets of New Salem as she looked for her friends and saw the destruction the mutated Duck-Head had caused, buildings were either destroyed or burning or even reduced to ashes, corpses laid in the streets and the footsteps of the mutant led deeper into the town.
"Guys, ghouls, where are all of you?" she asked herself worriedly.
"Well, look what we have here!" a dry voice said, Clair looked around to see where it came from until her eyes rested on three figures standing in an alley way, she screamed as loud as she could when she saw these three figures, it was Angela, Michael and Chucky from earlier, the same three who killed her brother.
"Hey bozos! We found her!" Chucky shouted to a rooftop, Clair backed away from the three villains until she heard the sound of heavy objects hit the ground, she slowly turned around to see a group of villainous murderers, one with a burnt face and fedora, a large lumbering one with a hockey mask, a black hooded one with a white screaming mask and one with a mask made of human skin, Clair screamed again as the murderers closed in on her.
"Who are you guys?!" she screamed.
"Who are we? Who are we?" the one with the fedora asked "we'll tell you who we are!" the murderers back away from her and grabbed their weapons, Clair gave a confused look until the one with the fedora looked at her with a wicked face "we fight for evil…"
"We fight for disaster…" the human skin masked one said.
"We fight for chaos…" Chucky said.
"We fight for destruction…" Michael said.
"We fight for doom…" the black hooded one said.
"We eat doughnuts!" the hockey masked one said.
"We wear the trendiest clothes!" Angela said.
"We are…. THE SLASHER RANGERS X!" The villains said altogether.
"Slasher rangers x? Really?" Clair asked sarcastically "that is the stupidest name I have ever heard!"
"Oh really? How stupid do you think this is?" the fedora man asked, he quickly ran at her at an alarming speed and she felt a slice in her stomach, Clair grasped her stomach and fell onto the ground as a stream of blood started to pour out of her, the fedora man gave an evil laugh and prepared to slash her again…
"Freddy, that is enough" a deep growling voice said, Freddy looked behind him to see the mutated Dr. Duck-Head walking towards him "she is no longer a threat".
"Yeah but what if-"
"I shall handle this!" Duck-Head said as he bent over and picked up the unconscious yet still alive Clair, she weakly opened her eyes to see the doctor's hideous mutated face and quickly faded again "pathetic! I should've expected better of you to put up a struggle! Aw well, might as make your death as quick as possible".
"Put her down Duck-Head!" Duck-Head looked to his side to see Thriller coming at him with his leg aimed at his face, Duck-Head quickly blocked the attack by creating an ice shield, trapping Thriller's leg in the ice.
"Thriller… So nice to see you again…" Duck-Head growled as he threw Clair on the ground forcefully, creating a small crater, Duck-Head then began to walk towards Thriller to see him trying to free himself "for the last time that is!"
"Hey Duck-Head!" the doctor felt a can being thrown at the back of his neck and looked behind himself to see Frankie, Julius and the rest of the monsters with angry looks on their faces "leave him alone! Or things will get ugly!" Jackson quickly saw Clair on the ground and rushed over to her to help her.
"How so? I have your powers! And I can destroy all with one wave of fire!" Duck-Head said "but before I destroy you all, I have to destroy a certain werewolf!"
"That werewolf is mine to destroy!" the doctor felt a powerful hit in his back and fell onto his face and saw Chiller, Slasher, Riven, Clawer and Draculawrence standing above him, the doctor gave a deep growl and got up on his feet.
"Looks! It's the monkey man!" a high squealed voice shouted, Duck-Head looked to see Jake, Vampiress, Michael and R.A.P.T.O.R. (With the duck-carrier's wheel on his neck) standing on the top of the building, Duck-Head looked all around to see his many adversaries and the Slasher Rangers X.
"Face it Duck-Head! You're outnumbered!" Thriller said "so you have a choice, either you give my friends their powers back… Or we all give you and your Slasher Rangers X the butt whooping of a lifetime!"
"How about this Thriller? I go ahead and destroy this town, enslave its inhabitants that weren't killed in my rampage and all of you heroes just go bother some other villain?" Duck-Head asked, Thriller gave a deep growl and lunged at his arch-nemesis, only to hit by the villain in the face, Thriller was sent flying into the wall of a building and he fell onto the ground.
"Thriller!" Vampiress gasped.
"Oh how ironic this is going to turn out to be!" Duck-Head said as he walked towards his adversary, Thriller looked up from the ground to see the mutated doctor standing above with his arms crossed and an evil smile on his face "I have waited for this day, the day I finally kill you Thriller the werewolf! With you gone, nothing can get in my way of ruling the world!"
"NO!" the group of heroes shouted.
"Good-bye, Thriller the werewolf!" Duck-Head said as he raised his foot and…
"Stay away from him!" Frankie yelled as she ran at him, jumped up and delivered a destructive punch to the doctor's skull, sending him flying away from Thriller, Frankie quickly rushed over to her friend and helped him up "are you okay?" Thriller looked up at her with a weak smile on his face.
"I'm doing fine" Thriller said as he cracked his neck and knuckles "thanks Frankie, you really saved my skin there".
"You're welcome" Frankie said "so how's about you and me teach old duck-butt who's boss?" Thriller gave a stronger smile and a thumbs up to her, Frankie returned the smile and thumbs up.
"It's go time!" they both said as they faced the doctor, Duck-Head rubbed his head and looked at the two heroes with pure anger, Thriller and Frankie looked at the doctor with smug looks on their faces.
"I shall make you both pay dearly for that!" he growled as he got up, both of the monsters waited for him to attack but instead of attacking, Duck-Head started to dematerialized into water and quickly retreated into a sewer.
"Well… I guess that's our cue" Freddy said as he readied his clawed-glove "Slasher rangers X! Get ready for battle!"
"Where is he going?" Frankie asked.
"Only one place" Thriller said "the towns center, if he gets there, then game over!"
"Then let's go and stop him!" Frankie said as she began to run to town square, Thriller smiled and followed her, Julius watched the two run to the center of town and looked at Caitlyn.
"Caitlyn, you and these other heroes distract the Slasher Rangers X, I'm going to go and help the werewolf and mix-up monster" Julius said.
"You got it Jules" Caitlyn said as she grabbed her stick from her back and twirled it around, Julius nodded and turned to the other members of the group, the non-monsters/humans looked at the alien as if they thought he was staring at them for his amusement.
"I need some of you to go and find survivors and evacuate them immediately" Julius said.
"You got it!" Deuce said "me, Cleo, Spectra, Skelita, Johnny, Lagoona and Gil will go and find anyone who's still alive".
"Excellent, now go!" Julius said as he pointed to the opposite direction, Deuce nodded and the group quickly left, Julius then turned to the other members of the monster group while the others looked back at him.
"Why are you looking at us?" Venus asked.
"I need all of you to follow Thriller and Frankie and assist them if needed" Julius said as he walked over to the group and grabbed the three chaos stones to Clawd "give these to them, they'll need it".
"Cool! Thanks Julius!" Clawdeen said as the group quickly left, Howleen and Twyla were about to leave when Julius suddenly grabbed them by shoulders, both turned to face him to see him looking at them with a black face.
"You two are going to stay here" he said.
"Why?" Howleen asked.
"We're going to need your help taking these guys on" Julius said as he pointed to the Slasher Rangers X, the two ghouls looked at them with terrified faces and then back at him.
"But… What about Clair?" Twyla asked.
"Yeah, she's injured and-"
"Jackson is taking her to hospital, her saw her and quickly reacted to her injuries" Julius said "she'll be fine, now are you two going to help us fight these lower life forms or not?" Howleen and Twyla took another look at the Slasher Rangers X and then sighed with fear.
"Alright" they both said.
"Good" Julius said as the three turned around to face the villains, Jake, Michael, R.A.P.T.O.R., Vampiress, Chiller, Riven, Slasher, Draculawrence, Clawer, Caitlyn, A.S.H.T.O.N. and Omega faced the villains alongside the three as well. The Slasher Rangers X smiled at the heroes evilly and readied their weapons.
"Well, it looks like lord Duck-Head is going to need our help defending him from the two brats" Freddy said "come on Slasher Rangers! The doctor needs us!"
"You all aren't going anywhere" Julius said as he went into stance, his whole body suddenly began to become a dark shade of red and his eyes glowed a dark green "Master…BLAST!" a wave of energy suddenly flew at the group of villains, causing them to scream in fear as it hit them and knocked them off their feet, sending them crashing to the ground "when it comes to me, you shouldn't underestimate me" Julius said as he walked over to the fallen villains and turned to the heroes "they're all weak, now's the time to strike!"
"With pleasure!" Draculawrence said as he started up his chainsaw and laughed maniacally and ran at the villains with the other heroes joining him, there was a series of yells of pain and agony as the heroes pummeled their adversaries to a pulp, Julius watched with glee at the event.
Meanwhile…
The center of New Salem flooded with hundreds of surviving citizens trying to escape the doctor's evil wrath, many in their cars had already flooded the road while others tried to walk on foot and some had even suggested taking a helicopter out of there! Suddenly, the ground began to rumble and many grew terrified at this, many had begun to run with others running out of their cars, grabbing their loved ones and getting the heck out of there! The mutated Duck-Head came rising out of the ground with his form getting even more mutated than it originally was, he had now grown fix arms, a sea-serpent shaped head with a dorsal fin on the back, his chest was now made completely of fire and ice and his legs transformed into tentacles.
"People of New Salem! Bow before your ultimate master!" he roared as he sent a wave of ice blocking the path of the citizens, many grew in more fear and tried to go the other way but the doctor created another wave of ice that blocked their path "now listen here, I am the new overlord and all who oppose me will face a most certain death!"
"Um… What kind of death?" one man asked, Duck-Head sent out a wave of flames at him that completely reduced him to ashes.
"Any other questions?" Duck-Head asked, there were many no's "good! Now for my first order of busi-"
"Hey Duck-Butt!" two familiar voices shouted, Duck-Head looked behind him to see Thriller and Frankie standing on top of a car and ready to fight the doctor.
"You two!" he growled.
"Let these people go free and we'll go easy on you" Thriller said "if you don't, then you loose your arms!"
"Bring it on! I doubt you two will live through this battle!" Duck-Head shouted, Thriller and Frankie looked at each other and nodded, both jumped off of the car and went soaring through the air with their hands balled up into fists, the two came soaring at the doctor and prepared to attack but Duck-Head delivered a powerful hit that sent them flying into the side of a building "pathetic, I would've expected you two to put up more of a fight, but all you two did was give up on your first try, shameful of you Thriller" Thriller gave a cough and fell to the ground with Frankie, both tried to get back up but Duck-Head slammed his massive fists onto them, causing them to stay on the ground "how I waited for this day! Goodbye Thriller the werewolf! The underworld awaits you!"
"Thriller! Frankie! Catch!" a voice shouted, Duck-Head suddenly looked to see the Clawdeen, Clawd, Ghoulia, Manny, Romulus, Jina, Robecca, Venus, Rochella, Billy, Scarah, Cupid, Whodude, Catrine, Operetta, Fists and Gigi standing on top of building. Clawdeen threw the three Chaos Stones into the air and they began to fall towards the two.
"No!" Duck-Head shouted but it was too late for him, the chaos stones landed in front of the two and began to circle around them, Thriller and Frankie suddenly floated up from the ground as the stones circled around them, both opened their eyes with a gleam at the doctor while he looked completely petrified at this.
"Chaos is power… Power is control… With the users all chaos and power is… Master Control!" Thriller shouted as the chaos stones fused themselves with the two, a bright light engulfed them with everyone shielding their eyes from the sight, the two monsters felt the powerful energy of the chaos stones flow into their bodies and rush over them quickly, both opened their eyes and smirked at the mutated Duck-Head.
"No… It can't be!" he roared with terror, Thriller was now a golden furred werewolf with golden clothes and his eyes a deep yellow while Frankie was now a golden skinned Mash-Up monster with angel wings on her back and her clothes golden.
"This… Is amazing!" Frankie said as she looked at herself with awe.
"I know right? Now let's show this guy what we're made of!" Thriller said as he flew at Duck-Head, Frankie nodded and followed him, the crowd of people cheered for the two heroes from the ground while Clawdeen and the others cheered for them on the building. Deuce, Cleo, Skelita, Johnny, Lagoona and Gil suddenly saw the wall of ice from the other side and halt in front of it, Deuce gave it a hard hit but to no penetration.
"Aw man, how are we going to break this?" he asked.
"Let me…" Lagoona said as he walked up to the wall, she took a deep breathe, balled her hand into a fist and slammed it into the wall, destroying it on contact and shattering it into millions of shards, the others looked in awe while she simply smiled and nodded "Fists taught me that".
"Look everyone! The wall's broken!" a man shouted.
"Alright, all Normies follow us!" Cleo said as everyone ran past her and the group led them all to safety.
"Bah! Be gone you miserable monsters!" Duck-Head roared as he swiped his hand at the two but they flew out of the way and flew right at his chest and slammed their super fists in it, sending him falling backwards but he go back up and created a wave of fire at them, both of them dodged it and slammed their fists in his face, the doctor stumbled back a bit and swung two of his fists at them, the two dodged it and began to do a double twirl-spin and hit the doctor in the chest, penetrating a small hole through it, the two went flying out of his back while he roared in pain "filthy monsters! You think that is enough to defeat me! I am invincible!" he said as he created a wave of ice shards and threw them at the two.
"Ice shards! Two thirty!" Thriller said, Frankie nodded and both dodged out of the way of the attack.
"GAH! STAND STILL AND DIE!" Duck-Head roared as he threw more and more shards at them, hoping to strike and kill them but the two did another double twirl-spin and hit his face, sending him crashing to the ground.
"Alright! Ready to end this once and for all?" Thriller asked Frankie.
"Ready!" Frankie said as she looked down at the doctor "you're going to pay for all the lives you so carelessly destroyed!"
"Never… I… Am… A… GOD!" Duck-Head shouted as he got back up and hit the two, sending them flying into a building but the two got up and flew right at him, Duck-Head threw a wave of fireballs at them but the two dodged the attack, Duck-Head balled his hands into fists and two fireballs formed and were shot at the two but Thriller and Frankie did a twirl spin and the fireballs were somehow merged with them, creating one large fireball, Duck-Head what this meant and instantly became paralyzed with fear "no…No… NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" he screamed as the fireball slammed itself against his chest, a massive explosion erupted from the attack and nearly blinded the monsters when it suddenly died down to reveal that the mutated Duck-Head had disappeared while Turbo Thriller and Flaming Frankie floated in the air, a loud groan was heard from the ground to reveal a beaten up, bruised and human Duck-Head lying on the ground. Waves of energy suddenly floated out of him and quickly flew right at Frankie and her friends, fusing them back into their monster forms.
"Yeah! They did it!" Clawdeen cheered.
"We're monsters again!" Draculaura cheered.
Meanwhile…
A wave of energy came flying at Deuce, Cleo, Lagoona, Johnny, Skelita and Gil and fused right into them and turned them back into their monster forms, the six cheered and quickly ran back to the town center while the surviving humans walked away from New Salem.
Meanwhile…
The Slasher Rangers X were now a pile of broken boned, bruised and sore villains lying on the ground with groans and moans coming from them, the group who had beaten them up looked at them with satisfied faces when energy came flying at Twyla and fused itself with her, returning her to her monster form.
"Yes! They did it!" she cheered.
"Come on! Let's go see them!" Howleen said as she led the group to Thriller and Frankie…
New Salem Town Center…
Thriller and Frankie floated down to the ground as the chaos stones appeared before the two and reverted back to their normal forms, Frankie's energy quickly fused into her and she transformed back into her monster self.
"Yes! I'm a monster again!" she cheered.
"Alright!" Thriller said as he gave a thumbs up and turned to Duck-Head with a smug grin on his face "well doc, it's all over, give up now and I'll go easy on you!" Duck-Head opened his eyes to see the teenage werewolf with his arms crossed and his smug grin, the doctor became to wheeze and suddenly chuckled and that chuckling turned into insane laughter, surprising Thriller and Frankie "hey, what's so funny?"
"You think you have won?" Duck-Head asked as he reached into his jacket and pulled out a remote "as you may recall Thriller, I always have a plan B! Time to initiate operation Black Hole!"
"Operation Black Hole?" Frankie asked in a scared tone of voice.
"Yes! In case I would be defeated, I set up a series of machines that can generate a black hole that will engulf the world into it! I will escape while watching the world being absorbed into the black hole and become destroyed!" Duck-Head said with an evil grin.
"WHAT!? NO! You Can't! So many innocent lives will be lost!" Thriller shouted with fear.
"That's the point, it's been fun everyone but I be going!" Duck-Head said as he got up and tried to walk away but Thriller grabbed him by the collar of his jacket, the doctor turned to see his eyes a deep red and bearing his teeth.
"If this world is going down, you're going down with it!" Thriller said angrily.
"Release me filthy werewolf!" Duck-Head shouted as he dropped the remote and it hit on the button, out in space, three large machines turned on and started to beam lasers in the middle of themselves, a small black hole started to form and begun to get bigger.
"Run for your lives!" a man yelled at the sight of the black hole and panic began to spread across the planet, Thriller and Frankie watched from the earth as the black hole was getting bigger.
"Thriller!" a familiar voice gasped, the two looked to see the monsters, Jake, Michael, Vampiress, Chiller and his brothers, R.A.P.T.O.R., Julius, Caitlyn, Omega and A.S.H.T.O.N. running towards them with fearful looks on their faces.
"Guys!" Thriller said.
"Ghouls! Get everyone to a safe place while we try to find a way to stop the black hole!" Frankie said to the girls.
"Foolish girl!" Duck-Head said "it is a black hole! It cannot be stopped!" the doctor gave out another wicked laugh while Thriller delivered a powerful punch to him, knocking him out instantly.
"That ought to shut him up" Thriller said before turning back to the group "but he's right, there's no way we can stop the black hole, if only we had an energy source that was powerful enough to destroy it!"
"I have an idea" Julius said as he walked towards him "give the stones".
"Why?" Thriller asked.
"Just do it" Julius said, Thriller nodded and grabbed the three chaos stones and handed them over to Julius, the alien closed his eyes and the three stones floated around him and fused right into him, accessing his super form, the alien opened his eyes and began to fly into the air.
"Wait! Julius! What are you doing?" Thriller asked, Julius turned to see the werewolf and the group looking at him with confused and worried faces.
"What I am doing is keeping a promise" Julius said "Omega, A.S.H.T.O.N., you're both under Catherine's control".
"Yes master" the two robots said.
"And Caitlyn" Julius said as he turned to Caitlyn "take care of yourself".
"Julius…" Caitlyn said under breathe.
"Goodbye everyone" Julius said as he flew up into the air, Howleen and Twyla instantly knew what this meant and cried out to him.
"Julius! No! Don't you remember what happens to you is this happens?" Howleen cried.
"That won't happen, not here" Julius said as he flew higher into the air but turned back to group one last time and nodded "farewell monsters & Co, protect the earth".
"Julius! NO!" Thriller shouted but it was too late, Julius flew higher into the air until he was in space where the black hole had gotten to the size of engulfing the world, people everywhere panicked and ran for their lives while Julius flew closer to black hole.
"Julius…No…" Howleen cried between tears, Thriller felt a tear roll down his cheek at the sight of the aliens heroic action, Julius flew right into the hole of the black and hole and floated around in it.
"So this is how it ends… In the mist of it all…" he said as he closed his eyes and held out his arms above his head "master…. CONTROL!" a bright light engulfed the black hole in a few seconds and remained in its place until it died down with the black hole gone.
"It's gone!" a man shouted and everyone began to cheer for the disappearance of the black hole.
"….Julius…." Howleen cried and broke into a storm of tears, Clawdeen and Clawd hugged their sister to comfort her while Thriller sighed sadly and lowered his head, he looked up to the sky to see stars in the black holes place and smiled.
"You did good kid" Thriller said "I'm proud of you… Farewell, Julius Smith…." As the group mourned for their lost friend, Duck-Head woke up and silently crept away, he tried hard not to let the group know he was escaping…. Until he stepped on a piece of glass and it broke with a crack, the group turned around to see him with a now terrified look on his face while the group looked at him with angered faces.
"Um… I should be going?" he suggested.
"GET HIM!" Fists shouted and that was it, the entire group was now attacking and beating up the doctor in a storm of hits, punches, slaps, kicks, bites, scratches and even bone breakings, Thriller watched from his place as the doctor cried and pleaded for mercy.
"Heh, something tells me these guys and ghouls are going to make great heroes" he said to himself.
