Chapter 336
When Dracula returned to his castle he saw what Kakistos and others had done. He was angry, these idiots were ruining his chance to destroy the Master. Dracula confronted Kakistos in private.
Dracula: Are you insane?
Kakistos: These people are nothing but food.
Dracuala: But the slayer is not. At the very least we will need to maintain a truce with her.
Kakistos: You hae grown weak my young friend. Letting humans live, working with the slayer.
Dracula: I have seen many tyrants in my centuries. Those who last knew their limits and only oppress their own people. While you slept there was one dictator, Adolf Hitler. He tried to conquer the whole world. The result was his death and ruin upon his people.
Kakistos: We take only the dregs of society. Thieves, whores, the muslim cleric. I thought you'd appreciate that one.
Dracula: Given my history with the Turks I'd just as soon see them all wiped out. But as I said the Master is trying to wipe us all out. We'll need to work with the slayer if we expect to survive.
Kakistos: I will not work with a slayer! She is our enemy. Her firends are my enemies. Take care in your decisions Dracula. The slayer may serve evil now, but she'll destroy you if given the chance. And if you ally with her, I'll rip your throat out myself. Do not leave yourself without allies.
Dracula: I'll remember your advice. Remember mine, don't take on ore than we can handle.
