Chapter 342
On Sunday March 17th, after Anne's funeral, Faith stalked Willy. President Wilkins couldn't move against Dracula directly. For one thing, they were allies in the circle against Holland Manners. But Faith wanted to make the vampires pay for Anne's murder. Faith figured that stalking Willy, she'd see a vampire sooner or later. Sure enough one vampire came to Willy to buy blood. Before they could complete their deal Faith snuck up behind the vampire and drove a stake through his heart. Then Faith attacked Willy, started wailing on him. She wanted to make him hurt. He was a maggot, selling human blood to evil soulless monsters. Faith wanted to kill him, but she didn't. She wasn't entirely sure why. Maybe because he was human. Maybe because his "service" did help save lives. At any rate Faith listened to these better angels of her nature and only beat Willy, without killing him.
