A big thank you to Anime lover, Rina Dragonfly, MiharuOftheWhiteSea, Just a Cadbury and all silent readers!
Anime lover – I was thinking probably after the Greed Island Arc. It'll most likely be a 3 part story. And 12?
Rina Dragonfly – It's okay I haven't seen any of them. I'd have to watch them through once, and then re-watch them to type up the story.
MiharuOftheWhiteSea – So do I, this is actually the first OC I'm proud of (apart from Kai but then again I use him for Rping)
Just a Cadbury – Welcome back dear! And yes, most likely after Greed Island Arc is written, it'll also have its own story link so it won't be interfering with the chapters here. I believe there's more than one, so I'd have to flip a coin to see which one to do first.

The group had led the three of us into an alley, a dark alley away from everybody else in the streets of Yorknew. I couldn't help but look around, curious and afraid, but I couldn't let that fear show. If I let that fear show than there would be no doubt in their mind that I had scarlet eyes and that would only make Chi smirk more to herself. The pink haired girl had given Killua to Shizuku and me to Chi, herself keeping a hold of Gon. That was when my fear grew more, Chi could do something that made you see things you thought you had suppressed; she brought out that memory and placed it onto the people you knew now. I didn't know how she was doing it, and was slightly concerned about calling it Nen. All I knew was that she scared me.
The rain continued to pour as we stopped in the alley way, their boss answering his phone. There was a pause when he answered, and then he started to speak once more.
"All right. We'll be waiting in the Hotel Beitacle lobby." He said and hung up the phone, looking at the three of us who glared at the ground, our heads hung low.
"It sounds like we got the chain user's identity." The man said, making us snap our heads up to look at him with a glare and small gasps. That wasn't good; that meant he would find out we were working with Kurapika. I could feel Chi move slightly behind me as she watched my reaction closely. "He has three remaining allies. Let's go." Their boss said simply and quietly. For a man that overlooked the Phantom Troupe, I thought he would be scarier and spoke more loudly, not quietly like he was doing now.
Their boss, Chi, Shizuku and the pink haired girl walked us out of the alley. Me, Gon and Killua couldn't help but glare at his back; what were we going to do now? They might have Kurapika's identity and we were captured. This looked bad for us, very bad.
They had led us inside Hotel Beitacle. It was warm and dry in here and away from the rain. Our clothing was soaked, the sleeves to my training shirt had become see through as well as the visible part of my shorts. The clothing stuck to me and it made me feel uncomfortable, but I couldn't move or fidget to unstick it without fear that I would be killed on the spot with no hesitation. Nobody seemed to notice the four adult leading three children with their hands behind their back around, was that a common sight in Yorknew? I really hoped it wasn't.
They had led us to a pillar; Shizuku gave Killua back to the pink haired girl as Chi did the same with me. Their boss stopped and turned to look at us, keeping the same neutral expression that he wore throughout our entire journey.
"Wait here. " He said simply. Shizuku moved around the pillar while Chi took the spot next to the boss, standing behind me. I could feel the lump in my throat catch, it felt much more intimidating to be next to him than away; the instinct of flight wanting to kick in. But I had to suppress that; I couldn't make a single move, they were too alert for any of us to make a single move.
Silence fell before all of us as we waited by the pillar. I stared at the ground, letting my head drop and glared at it. It wasn't the grounds fault but it still wasn't a position I wanted to be in. Still; I didn't blame Kurapika, it wasn't his fault... I just wish he wouldn't let his anger and hatred decide what he should do.
"Hey!" A familiar voice shouted making me and Killua snap our heads up.
"Do you realize what time it is?! Idiot! It's Hotel Beitacle! How many times do I have to repeat myself?" Leorio shouted. I couldn't help but smile slightly to myself and laugh a little, trying to make it seem like I just thought his anger was slightly funny; didn't want to raise suspicion. Killua smiled to himself as Gon looked up surprised. Leorio looked over to us, a glare on his face.
"What are you looking and laughing at, eh?" Leorio said angrily to us.
"Ignore him. Don't look at him." I heard the boss say as he turned his head away from Leorio.
"Eh? This ain't no show! Damn, my future's dark because of the failures working for me!" Leorio said, making Killua gasp slightly to himself. I stopped my small giggling and looked at Killua through the corner of my eyes, before turning them back to Leorio, who was leaning over continuing to shout down the phone.
"Listen up! This once, I'll close my eyes like nothing happened. One more mistake, and you'll get it good! Now listen. Seven on the dot. You'd best be at the hotel by then!" Leorio shouted. I thought over the words and took in a very small intake of air. He was sending out a message! At seven o'clock it'll be dark, we had to use that to our advantage…that was our means of escape!
Me, Gon and Killua looked at him as Leorio hung up the phone and picked up a paper, staring at it blankly and annoyed. He was really good at acting. Now came the thoughts, how would I get out of the pink haired girls string? I didn't have anything sharp on me so I couldn't cut it and assuming its Nen there was a strong chance I'd never be able to cut it. How would Killua and Gon get out? Surely they had a plan. I wouldn't have that long of a chance to get out, it would take them a mere few seconds to adjust their eyes; I had less time than that to get out and run for it.
I thought to myself as the radio announcer began talking through a small blue portable radio that sat on the table in front of Leorio.
"It's time for our last song. This request comes from Kicchomu." The lady said as the song began playing. It sounded rather heavy but nice at the same time. I quickly took a quick glance at the clock; there was only three minutes we had to wait for the lights to go out.
Shizuku walked out from behind the pillar and slightly away from us before stopping.
"Paku and the others are here." She said simply, making me look at her from the corner of my eyes. Nobunaga, Pakunoda and a very small guy with long silver hair that covered his while face but one eye walked into the hotel and towards us.
"What's this? You got caught again? I get it… You changed your minds and decided to join, right?" He asked walking up towards us. Nobunaga stopped in front of us as the three of us watched him closely.
"We didn't know that the reward for you guys was rescinded." Killua said, sticking to our lie of why we were caught and stalking them. Nobunaga placed his hands on his hips as he looked down at us.
"So you screwed up again while stalking us? Didn't learn your lesson, huh? But this must be fate at work." Nobunaga said to us, closing his eyes. I took another quick glance at the clock, two more minutes. It seemed like time was going so much slower than it actually was.
Nobunaga bent down to our level, keeping his eyes closed as he grinned widely at us.
"Well, let's be friends." He said cheerfully at us.
"No way. We were only following you for the reward. I wouldn't even want to look at your faces." Killua said closing his eyes and turning his head. Gon did the same which made me click onto what they were doing.
"I agree." Gon said to him. Nobunaga quickly looked at me. I closed my eyes and turned my head towards Gons.
"No." I said simply, not really sure on what else to say. Nobunaga laughed to himself at our answers to his statement of being friends.
"Well, boss? They've got guts, right? Their sass reminds me of Uvo." Nobunaga said to their boss.
"That's probably because they're kids. They know no fear." The pink haired girl said. I couldn't help but stiffen slightly at that; I definitely knew what fear was and I was feeling it right now. But I had to be a good girl and not show it in hopes to keep myself alive.
"Anyway, describe the chain user for us." The pink haired girl said to someone. I heard a foot step next to me.
"First things first, Paku. Check these kids again." Their boss said, making to stiffen even more. If she checked me, they would definitely know me and Kurapika were related. I felt Chi move slightly once more behind me, why I didn't know as I had to keep my eyes closed.
"Okay, what do you want to know?" Pakunoda asked him.
"What are they hiding?" Their boss asked her.
I kept my eyes closed tightly, wondering what was going to happen; I was suddenly aware of my breathing and everything around me, I felt very scared. There was no way I would be able to hide the fact that me and the chain user were related, no matter how much I tried to cover it up.
"Well, there's only one minute left in this week's broadcast." The radio said, making me lower my head slightly, this was it; they were going to find out.
"It's no use. Your power lets you draw out memories from those you touch, right? We aren't hiding anything, and we know-" Killua began saying until it sounded like something slammed over his mouth.
"I'll know the truth soon enough. Shut up." Pakunoda said to Killua.
"Even if we did know something, we could think about something else, and hide it from you!" Gon said to her as it sounded like was slammed over his mouth, keeping him quiet. I caught on to what they were doing, they were trying to buy some time; I had to help.
"I don't know why you're even trying when we know nothing. We were only going after you for the re-" I began saying until a hand covered my mouth, keeping me quiet. It felt like it belong to Chi as she was the one behind me and as far as I knew, Pakunoda only had two arms and two hands.
"Yep, there you go." Killua said, although it sounded muffled and forced.
"You seem to be confused. I draw out the purest essence of human memory. I'm not browsing through the images in your mind. My question will stimulate your memory, stirring up the dirt collected in its depths like throwing a stone into a pond." Pakunoda explained to us, putting the way she reads minds into a very nice sounding metaphor. It's a shame it wasn't going to be a very nice experience for us.
It sounded like Killua and Gon were being held in the air by their faces, I could hear their breathing, it sounded difficult for them to do so.
"The dirt represents your pure, unaltered memories. And I simply scoop them up. It's impossible to deceive me." She said making me gasp inwardly. I felt Chi move again; in a few seconds once Pakunoda got what she needed from Gon and Killua, it would be me and that would be the biggest give away of our relation to each other. I couldn't let that happen, I had to do something to keep that hidden and protected from her; but what could I do?
"I'll see you next week. This is JFN, and it's seven PM." The woman on the radio spoke. The lights should go out any second now and we could hopefully escape. Just had to time it right, we just had to time it absolutely perfectly.
"Now, it's time to ask my question. What are you hiding?" Pakunoda asked. Even though it wasn't being done to me right now, I couldn't help but flinch, soon she would do it to me if we couldn't escape and I would be putting Kurapika at risk, allowing them to use it to their advantage. I just hoped it that was the case, and then Kurapika would think it through and see it's a trap.
The reds of my eyes turned to black indicating that the lights had gone out. I quickly opened my eyes. I could see them, all of them; but it didn't look like they could see us. I quickly took the opportunity and moved my head slightly and bit down hard onto Chi's thumb and side of her hand. I felt her pull away as she yelped in what sounded like a fox like yelp. Gon and Killua had attacked Pakunoda sending her back away from them. Gon was suddenly pulled by the pink haired woman pulling him back to her.
"Gon!" I shouted and quickly went to help Gon, running away and keeping my distance from Chi. I was stopped almost instantly though by a hand on my head and very vivid, disturbing images coming to mind of my friends and Kurapika.
"Don't even try it; I can make these as disturbing and gruesome as I please." I heard Chi say in a low and threatening tone of voice. I froze on the spot and looked at the pink haired girl with wide eyes as she held Killua close to her, not letting him go.
"You're mine. Once you reveal your presence, I can sense you. Using the dark was meaningless." The pink haired girl shouted.
"Killua!" Gon shouted as he quickly went to jump to help Killua. However, his foot was grabbed by Nobunaga in mid-air.
"Give up." He said simply and held Gon upside down.
Our chance to escape was over; those few seconds we had didn't go to plan for us. We were caught even in the darkness. I could see the tinge of red, my fear deciding to finally show from those gruesome and disturbing images. Taking out my contacts really did seem like a terrible idea now, now that we were stuck in this predicament. I stayed frozen to the spot, Chi's hand on my head. Although she wasn't showing images anymore, if I so much as moved an inch she probably wouldn't hesitate to do so. Gon was dangling upside down by his legs by Nobunaga and Killua being held onto tightly against the pink haired woman.
"A pity… Well, it was a good shot." Nobunaga said as something flew towards the air towards his face. It looked shiny and sharp, almost like a blade. I slowly and shakily moved my eyes towards the entrance where the blade had come from.
"It came from the entrance?" Nobunaga questioned.
"The guy with the radio was working with them." Shizuku said, looking at where the radio laid on the coffee table, face down.
"Forget him! We only need these three. Our eyes will adjust shortly." Nobunaga said, holding Gon up into the air more by his legs.
"Yes. Wait, where's the boss?" Shizuku asked, thunder clapping through the sky and lightening striking, lightly up the room into a bright white light. Silence fell between all of us.
"The boss is gone…" Nobunaga said trailing off as he finished his sentence.
Nobunaga looked behind him and then looked back at Shizuku, keeping a tight hold on Gon's ankles as he continued to hold him upside down.
"Shizuku, hold this guy for me." Nobunaga said as Shizuku nodded her head. She walked over and took Gon from Nobunaga, continuing to hold him upside down. None of us dared to move, not that any of us could, we were being held hostage once more and this time they probably wouldn't hesitate to kill us. Paku stood up from the ground, holding a hand to her mouth.
"Paku, are you okay?" The pink haired woman asked, looking at the woman with short blonde hair. Pakunoda looked back at her, keeping a hand over her mouth.
"He broke my left hand, and a molar…" She commented through what sounded like a swollen cheek.
"We underestimated them." The pink haired girl said. Nobunaga removed the blade from the wall and began untying the paper that was around it. Pakunoda held her left arm in her hand as she looked at the three of us.
"Anyway, this is going to shock you. These kids are-" Pakunoda began saying before being cut off.
"Wait!" Nobunaga shouted making her stop talking. The group looked at him as he flicked through the note, holding a lightly to it so he could see the words.
"Pakunoda, this is for you." Nobunaga said, looking over to Pakunoda.
Pakunoda took the note from Nobunaga and read over it. She gasped to herself as she looked around in what seemed like a state of panic.
"Hey, what's going on?" Someone questioned into the darkness. The room fell silent as Pakunoda was just looking at the note, absorbed into her own world. I took the chance to try and calm myself, and breathed that little bit more heavily; I just had to hide my eyes, that was all. Everything else to do with fear I could deal with but my eyes had to go. I took slow, deep breathes, careful not to move so that I didn't set Chi off, who continued to hold a hand on top of my head. I could see the red vanishing from my site as I continued to breathe heavily, it was working; I just had to keep practising like this and soon they wouldn't show as easily.
"Paku. Paku… Paku!" Nobunaga said, grabbing her attention. Pakunoda jumped at his words and snapped her head towards him.
"Don't say a word. Got it?" Nobunaga said to her. Pakunoda nodded her head and stared at the ground. Nobunaga walked towards the pink haired girl and Killua as he began handing her instructions.
"Machi, focus on your threads. I'll take him for you." He said to her. So that was her name, Machi. The three of us looked at each other, keeping the same look on our faces, Kurapika had managed to pull everything off; it was amazing. Machi and Shizuku looked at Nobunaga as he began to explain the situation.
"Since he left us a message, he'll contact us again. Until then, these kids are valuable hostages. Silence fell between all of us. I dared to take a quick glance at Pakunoda; it looked like she was having an inner battle with herself. Did Kurapika really catch her off guard that much that she would need to think heavily and quietly to herself for so long?
"Paku, don't worry about it too much. Just keep your mouth shut." Machi said to her.
The lights turned back on, lightening up the whole room. Nobunaga had taken a hold of Killua while Shuzuku kept a hold of Gon, dangling him upside down. Chi kept her hand on my head. My vision was completely clear; with any luck no one caught sight of my eyes in the darkness. Nobunaga took out his phone from his robes and began dialling a number. He held the phone to his ear after pressing a number to ring it.
"Hurry, Phinks! The boss has been captured!" Nobunaga shouted down the phone to whoever this Phinks guy was.
We waited in the empty lobby for what seemed like hours but in reality, it was probably only a few minutes or so. The guy in the green tracksuit, Feitan and the blonde that sounded very young walked in through the hotel lobby doors.
"Explain." The guy in the track suit demanded as the three of them walked towards us. Chi walked closer behind me. She used her free hand to grab on of my wrists and forced it behind me, then removed the hand on my head and forced the other wrist behind me. She walked over next to Nobunaga, sticking me in between Gon and Killua.
"The lights went out." Shizuku said simply as she dumped Gon onto the floor. She forced him up and held his hands behind his back, not letting him go or even giving him the chance to try and escape.
"The boss was taken in that instant." Nobunaga explained after her as the three of them stopped in front of us. The small guy with the long silver hair held out the note that Kurapika wrote to Pakunoda.
"Here's the message from the chain user." He explained. The tall guy in the green tracksuit took the note from the little silver haired guy's hands and read it over.
"Why didn't you do after him immediately?" Feitan questioned.
"Machi and Paku were injured." Nobunaga explained to Feitan.
"So?" Feitan questioned. Didn't he care for his allies at all?
"He has allies who are pro Hunters." Nobunaga explained.
"So?" Feitan questioned once more. He really didn't care about his allies at all.
"Read between the lines! It proves we can use these kids as hostages. If we give chase and let them escape, it's over! The boss has probably been captured by those chains that Uvo couldn't break. It'll be difficult for him to escape on his own!" Nobunaga explained angrily to Feitan. Feitan seemed like the kind of guy who only looked straight forward, never outside the box or anything. But then again I couldn't be wrong.
"Probably?" The guy in the green track suit questioned. Nobunaga glared at him as he turned his head towards him.
"The lights went out!" Nobunaga shouted at him angrily.
The group had moved closer around Nobunaga as him, Shizuku and Chi kept very tight grips on me, Gon and Killua. Feitan looked at Chi, making her stiffen slightly.
"Why didn't you go after him?" He asked her. Chi tightened her hold on my wrists as she looked sternly at Feitan.
"His scent never drifted away, so I couldn't tell he was gone. The chain user must have every light footsteps, because I never heard him move." Chi explained to him, narrowing her eyes slightly as she stared at the short man
"By time our eyes had adjusted, the boss was gone. We weren't in any condition to move." Nobunaga explained once more to Feitan, only getting angrier with the boy…man? The guy with the blonde hair and very childlike sounding voice stepped forward and held his hands up, signalling for people to calm down and stop talking.
"Okay, we can assign blame later. For now, we need a plan." The blonde guy said, looking around the group. A phone started ringing. All of us looked at where the sound was coming from. The guy in the green tracksuit removed the touch screen phone from his pocket and looked at the screen.
"It's the boss." He said simply and pressed the screen, holding the phone up to his ear. I looked at him wide eyed, did that mean Kurapika was injured somewhere and their boss escaped? No, Kurapika was too fast and quick minded, even if he was really angry, he wouldn't let himself get hurt…would he?
"Hello? The chain user?" The man said as I watched him with wide eyes. Kurapika was okay! That was good, that made me worry a little bit less for him.
Silence fell in the room as the man in the tracksuit remained quiet, listening to Kurapika and whatever it was he had to say to him; I just hoped it wasn't something that could put himself in danger.
"Can I ask you something first? It's about the second demand. The three hostages put up a struggle, and we had to break a few bones." The man said, making me and Gon flinch slightly. Were they going to break our bones? Gon's already had bones broken, it looked painful; I didn't want any bones broken. I looked at the guy wide eyed as he smirked at the three of us. He looked at the phone confused. It seemed like Kurapika had hung up. He pressed a button again, recalling the phone Kurapika was using. He placed it to his ear.
"Sorry, I was lying. All three of them are unharmed." He said. The room fell silent. The main in the green tracksuit handed the phone to Pakunoda and walked over to Machi and Nobunaga. Nobunaga handed Killua to the guy with long silver hair and curled his hand into a fist. Both Nobunaga and Machi punched him in the back of the head, making him double over in pain.
"Hello?" Pakunoda said as Feitan moved next to her. She looked at him through the corner of her eyes and held the phone to her chest, shaking her head. Feitan looked away slightly annoyed as Pakunoda walked away. What I wondered the most was how Kurapika could stay calm in a hostage situation, three people who I really hoped he considered close and he was able to stay calm all the way through it. In a way I was glad, it meant I could rely on him if I was ever taken hostage again.
Pakunoda walked all the way to the second floor of the hotel, but stood in a place where we could still see her and she could still see us. However, we couldn't hear what she was saying or what was being said to her, and that was the same with her; she couldn't hear what we were saying or what was being said to us. Pakunoda walked back over to us and asked for Nobunaga to come with her. Nobunaga handed Killua back to Machi and followed her to the second floor, taking the phone from her.
Pakunoda and Nobunaga came back to the group. Pakunoda gave the phone back to the man in the green track suit and began walking towards the door, ready to leave the hotel. I wondered where she was going, what was Kurapika demanding of her?
"Hey, Paku!" The guy in the green track suit shouted, holding out an arm to her as he planning to go and stop her.
"Wait! Let Paku go by herself. We're returning to the hideout. Orders from the chain user." Nobunaga said as he walked back towards us.
"What's your point?" The man in the tracksuit asked, watching Nobunaga closely. If they were orders from Kurapika than it was wise to follow them; when Kurapika said he would do something, he'd do it. He wasn't one to bluff or lie and I had never known him to all the time we were growing up with each other.
"If we disobey, he'll kill the boss!" Nobunaga said, stepping forward. It was definitely wise to follow that order; Kurapika wouldn't hesitate to do so.
"Are you an idiot? If that happens, we kill the chain user. And that will be the end." The man in the track suit said.
"It's what the boss would tell us to do." Feitan said simply to Nobunaga. He looked darkly at Nobunaga, something didn't seem right with him; I couldn't tell where Feitan stood when it came to his friends and allies.
"We have to follow Pakunoda now. This is an absolute necessity!" The man in the tracksuit said. The blonde guy held up a hand, agreeing with him.
"I concur. There's no point in letting Paku go alone. If we continue to follow his orders, the fortunes will come true." The blonde said to him.
Nobunaga looked angrily at the group of three and gritted his teeth together.
"I agree with Nobunaga. We should follow his orders for now." Machi said to them,
"I agree." The guy with silver hair said. This group seemed to be very split up in everything they did; how did they do anything?
"For now? How long do we listen to him? Until half our limbs are gone? Shizuku, what do you think?" The man in the track suit asked, turning his head towards Shizuku who continued to have a hold of Gon tightly.
"When there's a fight, we flip a coin." Shizuku said simply to them. So that's how everything is decided among them, coin flipping. Kind of a nice way, I guess? It seemed like it kept fist fights to a bare minimum with the group.
"He's broken the rules." The man in the track suit said. Shizuku hummed to herself as she looked over the top of her glasses at the man in the track suit.
"But I'll side with Nobunaga. I don't want the boss to die now. I don't want Paku to die, either. I'm sure Paku feels the same way. That's why she left without a word." Shizuku said to him quite straightforwardly. At least she looked out for her boss and colleagues, I guess? The guy in the tracksuit closed his eyes annoyed with the whole situation.
"I don't believe this… Talking to you is pointless. I would love to kill you right now, but following Pakunoda comes first." The guy in the track suit said as he turned around to leave so that he could follow Pakunoda.
Nobunaga removed his sword from its cover, the blade making a sound as it scrapped on the inside of the cover.
"Wait!" Nobunaga said to him. There was suddenly a lot of tension in the room, it made me uncomfortable, but I didn't dare to fidget to try and get more comfortable in the situation.
"Take one more step, and I'll cut you down." He said dangerously low to him, his aura floating off him rapidly. The man in the green tracksuit started concentrating his own aura, his trying to match Nobunaga's. They were both fierce and made the room full of tension and blood lust; and with nowhere to go me, Gon and Killua were full witness to it.
"Go ahead and try." The man said to Nobunaga. Shizuku handed Gon to the guy with the blonde hair and summoned up her weird hoover with teeth. She placed it onto Nobunaga's back. Nobunaga's aura suddenly vanished and he fell to the floor in a crumpled heap as Shizuku stood behind him.
"Troupe members aren't allowed to fight." Shizuku said as the hoovers tongue hung from its mouth.
"Aren't you on Nobunaga's side?" The guy in the tracksuit asked. Shizuku looked at him from the tops of her glasses as she held the nozzle with both her hands.
"That's what my heart says. But the rules are absolute. If we reject the rules, we reject the spider. And we also reject the boss. I don't want to do that." Shizuku said as another phone began ringing. I turned my head towards the sound and saw the guy with blonde hair remove his phone from his pocket. It was red in colour and looked like it had small, red, devil wings.
"It's him." The blonde said. The man in the track suit walked towards him and held out his hand.
"I'll take it." He said to him simply.
The blonde handed him the phone. The tracksuit guy pressed a button and held the phone to his ear.
"Hello?" The man answered and paused as he listened to the whoever it was on the phone.
"You little….here." The man said walking up to Killua and putting the phone next to his ear. Killua stayed silent as someone spoke, I could only assume it was my brother by the man in the tracksuits reaction, and that he was giving the phone Killua to talk into.
"They are right now. But they're talking about going after Pakunoda…" Killua said trailing off. The man with the tracksuit took the phone away from Killua's ear and glared at him as he held it up away from him.
"Watch your mouth, kid. Hello?" The man said, holding the phone back to his ear. The man said. There was a pause as he listened to Kurapika speak, which was followed by him shortly bringing his hand down. Kurapika must have disconnected the phone.
"We won't be able to follow Paku now." Shizuku said to him, keeping a tight hold on her hoover. The man in the track suit clenched his hands tightly.
"Damn it!" The man cursed as he handed back the phone to the blonde.
Now we just had to wait, we just had to wait for Kurapika to get everything sorted and to deal with Pakunoda so that the three of us could get free. Even though the situation was looking grim for someone, and could turn out grim for us; I still didn't blame Kurapika for the position we were in. We just had to keep quiet, keep our mouths shut and not make any sudden movements that could cost us our lives; and we'd be safe, that's all we had to do and believe...that's all I had to believe for the three of us. Just believe we'll be safe.
Author note: More of a filler chapter than anything as Gon, Killua and Mishka didn't have mountains of dialogue this time.
