A big thank you to Anime lover, Rina Dragonfly, Hortenseyounka and all silent readers!
Rina Dragonfly – Never muwhahahahahahah!
Hortenseyounka – Ja, I'm working on that. Thank you for pointing out the lack of interaction. Yeah, she'll become feminine one day, but that day is not today! And tomorrow doesn't look great either.
Thank you all who left a review about me getting well soon/ my sister getting well soon. It means a lot.
Check out a new piece of art done the graphics tablet on my profile!

We dug. That's all we did. We put all our strength and concentrated Nen into our digging making the once hard rocks soft to break. We didn't speak, we were too busy trying to break through the miniature cliff so that we could get back to Masadora and hopefully have a bath; considering our skin and clothes were caked in dust, dirt and sweat.
I smacked out shovel against the back wall, forming small cracks up the wall. I looked over to Gon and Killua, smiling widely at them.
"It's starting to break!" I said to them, keeping the wide smile on my face even though it felt heavy with the dirt and dust. Gon and Killua quickly jogged over and stood either side of me; then smacked their shovels against the cracking wall. It began cracking even more, making the two boys smile widely.
The three of us held our shovels tightly as he looked determined at the wall.
"On the count of three. One!" Killua instructed us than began counting down.
"Two!" Gon said after him, making the three of us hold our shovels even tighter in our hands.
"Three!" I shouted afterwards. Within those five seconds, the three of us began slamming our shovels into the cracking wall until we moved backwards and ran at the wall, smashing the shovels into it and making the wall burst open by the force.
We flew out of the dark cave, wide smiles on our faces just happy to see the sunlight once more.
"All right!" Killua shouted at us. We landed on our feet and formed a small circle between the three of us, holding our shovels proudly above our heads, not caring that we smelt and looked pretty awful right now.
"We made it through!" Killua said to us happy that we were finally out of the dark cave.
"Good work!" Gon said happily himself as we continued to hold the shovels above our heads in pride. I had never been happier to see sunlight; apart from when we were in Trick Tower.
We began walking away from our man made cave, our shovels down by our sides thinking over the days we had been travelling. I couldn't wait until we got back to Masadora, I wouldn't have been happier to see a city once we got back.
"I think we've gone five kilometres today." Gon said, making me sight slightly at the thought.
"That's such a long way." I said to, smiling widely at him.
"At first, I thought it would take years, but at this pace…" Killua said as Masadora came into view. We smiled widely and dropped out shovels, raising our hands into the air in triumph.
"Masadora!" Me and Gon yelled together, happy to see the brightly coloured city of magic.
"Take two!" Gon added at the end of our sentence. Maybe now we could take a bath and wash our clothes. That would be amazing right about now.
"Okay! Let's return to the starting point now." Biscuit said behind us, her voice sounding very cheery. Me, Gon and Killua turned our heads and glared at her our arms still in the air as we tried burning holes into the back of her head.
"Again!?" We shouted at her, not wanting to believe what we were hearing. We only just got here, why should we head back?! I just really wanted a bath.
Despite our protests against going back to the beginning, Biscuit still made us go back. The three of us were grumbling on the way there, every so often complaining about why we couldn't stay in Masadora for a little while after all that digging work.
We stood in front of Biscuit, who looked at us sternly with her hands on her hips. Killua stood watching her boredly with his arms crossed over his chest as Gon stood with a slightly annoyed look and his arms dangling by his sides. I couldn't help but shove my hands into my trouser pockets, slightly annoyed about coming back here when I could have been getting clean by now.
"Next, we'll work on obtaining monster cards. You have the requisite physical strength to defeat every enemy here. What you lack is the ability to come up with a plan of attacks as you fight. In other words, the ability to strategize." Biscuit explained to us as we just continued to look at her with slight annoyance.
"We lack…" I muttered and trailed off.
"…The ability to…" Gon began saying and trailed off himself.
"…Strategize." Killua said, finishing off our incomplete sentences. Biscuit nodded her head as she continued looking at us sternly.
"I'm not going to say a single word, so devise your own means to defeat the monsters." Biscuit said to us, making the three of us nod our heads together.
We decided that Gon was to go first against one of the monsters. So we waited in silence for something to comer along. Our wait wasn't for long as soon one of the black fuzzy creatures from a week ago came out into the open. Gon suddenly ran at it, making it squeak and jump then run away from Gon. Gon chased at, running behind it and slowly catching up with it. Me and Killua watched him closely, Killua with his hands shoved into his shorts pockets and me with my arms dangling by my sides. The little black creature jumped onto a rock and jumped off it quickly, turning a corner as it did. However, it had its tail caught by Gon, making it squeak again and burst into a card. Me and Killua smiled widely at him and quickly walked over to Gon as he jumped into the air, smiling widely with the card in his hand.
"Yes! I got the Morimo-chi!" Gon said happily as Killua laced his hands behind his head, the two of us smiling widely at Gon.
Next it was Killua. As if by coincidence, the frog that was chasing us a week ago returned too. Me, Gon and Biscuit quickly ran to hide somewhere as Killua stood in front of it, smirking, his hands in his pockets. He then ran from the frog making it chase him. Killua jumped onto a wall and then off the wall as the giant frog crashed into it. Killua landed on the frogs back, keeping his balance and ran up the creatures back. Once he reached a certain pointed he jumped on it, crashing his feet hard into the creatures back. The frog roared in pain and burst into a card. He landed on the ground on his feet, holding the card in his hands. I jumped into the air cheering as Gon clapped his hands excitedly for Killua.
Next it was my go. But was I was going to catch I had no idea. The three of us went searching for a creature I saw something from the corner of my eye. It was a Morimo-chi, much like the one Gon caught. I was grateful for only having something this small and not something huge like Killua. The four of us stopped as we stared at the black ball of fluff. I pulled up the sleeves of my training shirt to my elbows and launched myself at the small black fuzz ball. It noticed me coming towards it and began jumping away. I pushed myself to run faster, watching where it was going however it only kept getting further and further away from me. I slowed down to a stop, thinking to myself as it bounced on a rock and turned a corner. Jumping slightly I realised what I had to do; go to where it's going. I quickly bolted in the direction it turned, disappearing behind a rock. I quickly rounded from behind the rock, jumping in front of the fuzzy black creature that looked at me in shock and crashed into my stomach. It instantly turned to a card as I stumbled back, grabbing the card before it hit the floor. I smiled widely to myself and turned to Gon and Killua, waving the card in my hand with a wide smile.
Night had come quickly; Biscuit had made the rocks bigger; a lot bigger. And yet, it didn't feel heavy anymore. The rocks now felt quite light, but rather that was because I had gotten stronger or because they weren't really rocks was something I was trying to decide. We had a specific sleeping arrangement, Gon on one side, Killua on the other and me in the middle. We had learnt to sleep sitting up straight pretty quickly, although Killua seemed to be accustomed to sleeping up straight in the first place. Not so much me and Gon, we had to learn from scratch.
The morning soon came, sooner than I thought. Biscuit had decided that we were going to try and get a Bubble Horse card; that creature that shot bubbles at us that exploded either against aura or everything but aura.
It was Gon who was going first. Now all we had to do was find said Bubble Horse. Me, Gon and Killua placed our hands on our chins as we thought to ourselves.
"Where are we going to find a bubble horse?" I questioned them, concentrating my gaze onto the floor below me as I thought.
"Hmm, not sure…" Killua replied to me, deep in thought himself. Gon stayed quiet as we continued to think hard; this challenge was going to be our hardest challenge yet.
It was almost sheer coincidence that way these creatures were coming as a Bubble Horse was making its way past us as we thought about where to find out. Me and Killua stood on the side lines and watched as Gon shot off after the horse. The horse looked at him in a panic and began galloping away, shooting red and blue bubbles at Gon as it looked over its shoulder to see where its predator was. Gon however had learnt fast from our first encounter with the beast. He shrouded himself with his aura as he ran after the horse.
"Zetsu!" I heard him shout, his aura disappearing as he bounced a blue bubble off his shoulder. That was when Gon sped up and jumped onto the horse, hanging on it from around its neck. The horse made a cry as it burst into a card, causing Gon to fall towards the floor. Gon landed on his feet as he grabbed the card. Me and Killua smiled widely and quickly jogged over to him, looking at the card as Gon waved it in the air above his head, a wide smile on his face.
"I got a Bubble Horse!" Gon shouted happily.
"You really deserved it." I said to Gon, smiling widely at him.
"Way to go." Killua said to him, smiling widely with his hands linked behind his head. Gon turned to the two of us, keeping the wide smile on his face and nodded his head quickly, proud about getting the Bubble Horse.
We stayed staring at the Bubble Horse card a little while longer, looking at it with wide eyes and wide smiles. Now we knew how to catch one me and Killua could get one for ourselves. I turned my head to Killua, keeping the wide smile on my face.
"Next it's our go!" I said to him, making him nod his head in response keeping his own wide smile. The two of us was about to go and look around for the bubble shooting creature until Biscuit had stopped us.
"Okay, we will begin to work on your defence." Biscuit said to us. Me and Killua looked at each other from the corner of our eyes before sighing and walking back over to Gon, standing either side of him. Guess catching our own Bubble Horse would have to wait.
We stood in front of Biscuit and watched her carefully. She held up a fist with a wide smile, holding another fist by her waist. She then shrouded herself in her aura, then concentrated it into the fist she held in the air. The three of us looked at her wide eyes, sort of knowing what she was doing.
"Is that…" Gon asked in shock.
"That's right, Gon. This is the technique you've been using. Ten, Zetsu, Ren, Hatsu and Gyo are combined in this technique. Ko!" Biscuit explained to us, then held her fist forward, pointing it towards the three of us, her wide smile curling into a stern look as she continued to stare at us from behind her fist.
"You focus all your aura into one part of your body, then attack. This gives far greater power than your regular attacks. I'm going to attack with my fist. You must block my attacks. You may not dodge." Biscuit said to the three of us. We gritted our teeth as we looked at her confused, but focused; just focusing our gaze onto her fist that was glowing with aura. If it was anything like Gon's attacks than this would hurt a lot.
Maybe, if we used our auras to block her attacks we would come out unscathed… No…no that wouldn't work; she's dealing psychical damage we would just end up with broken bones…we had to use something else.
"You've figured it out? If you use your aura to block normally, you'll take considerable damage. So what should you do?" Biscuit asked us, bringing her fist back towards her. I thought about the answer, placing a hand onto my chin in thought as I stared at the ground…what could we use? I knotted my brows together…We could use Ko…That was it!
"We should use Ko, too." Gon said confirming my thoughts. I nodded my head agreeing with him; that was the only sensible thing to do.
"You're half right. Ko against Ko. As long as you and your opponent are similar in Nen capacity, you'll escape unscratched. However… If your opponent hits you in a place where you weren't using Ko, you'll be destroyed." Biscuit explained to us, making me shiver. I didn't want to be destroyed, it didn't sound very helpful.
"Then we should use Ko on our entire body. Though it's contradictory." Killua said to her. Biscuit dropped her fist as she looked at us, keeping the stern look on her face.
"Exactly. This technique combines Ten and Ren. Ken. You defend yourself by shrouding your body with much more aura than usual. It isn't as strong as Ko, but it's far more practical. Gon, use Ren." Biscuit explained to us, then told Gon what to do, holding her fist back up once more. Gon crouched down, clenching his hands tightly into fists as he kept his stern look on Biscuit's fist. He shrouded himself in his aura, giving off a warm feeling.
Biscuits fist continued to glow as I watched Gon closely, he was able to hold Ren very well; it amazed me how good Gon was at picking stuff up.
"To sustain that for a prolonged period is called Ken." Biscuit said jogging me out of my thoughts. I turned my head to her as she kneeled down, getting into her own fighting stance. I took a couple of steps backwards giving her and Gon room.
"Now protect yourself from my punch." Biscuit said making Gon go down to his own defensive stance. Biscuit began extending her arm, she was doing so slowly. I watched carefully, something didn't feel right about it. Gon smiled to himself slightly as he pushed his arm forward. Their auras touched creating electric sparks before sending Gon flying back. I watched with wide eyes as Gon flew back, rolling over his back. Killua was just as speechless as I was as we watched our friend roll backwards. He finally came to a stop and laid on his back, a dirt trail evident.
"You must have relaxed when you saw how slowly I was moving. If you stopped using Ken, your face would have been smashed. That was the power of Ko alone." Biscuit explained as she brought her fist back to her. Gon sat up straight, dazed at what had happened just a minute ago as me and Killua continued to look at him wide eyed.
"When I add the speed and power packed by a normal punch, it becomes many times stronger. Even dozen times stronger." Biscuit said to us. I could have sworn I saw Gon smile as he pushed himself from the floor.
"I'll start by going slowly, but you won't get any warning." Biscuit said as Gon walked back over to us. Me and Killua continued to stand at the side as Gon went back to his defensive stand looking at Biscuit with a determined grin on his dirt covered face.
"Keep using Ken, and try to withstand my attacks." Biscuit said to him as Gon began concentrating his aura for Ren once more.
The two stood at a stare off, Biscuit with her fist close to her and Gon concentrating Ren. But Gon was flagging, he was starting to struggle keeping Ren up. Me and Killua watched him carefully until finally Gon gritted his teeth and fell forwards onto his hands and knees breathing deeply.
"Gon!" Me and Killua shouted at the same time, wondering if he was okay.
"Hmm, that was almost two minutes…" Biscuit said to him, standing up straight and her free hand onto her hip as she stared down at Gon, who sweated as he took deep breaths.
"You need to be able to sustain Ken for at least thirty minutes, or you won't stand a chance." She said to us.
After our defensive lesson, Biscuit made us dig once more. The three of us grabbed a shovel and concentrated out auras around ourselves and the shovel as we began digging into the giant rock once more. We had to get through to the other side. We sweated as we dug, it seemed like it was hotter today than any other day; but maybe that's because all we did was dig.
It took us a while, but we managed to get to the other side. Sunlight began peeking through the cracks as we smashed our shovels against the rocks face, breaking it into rubble and letting in the hot sun rays. I smiled widely to myself as I sighed deeply, happy to see this blistering sun. Killua held his shovel above his head as I shoved mine into the ground, leaning on the top.
"Okay, we're through!" Killua shouted into the sky.
"Learning to use Ken!" Gon shouted into the sky.
"I wish the sun would turn off!" I shouted into the sky afterwards.
We went back to Biscuit for our defensive lesson once more. That's all we seemed to be doing nowadays, running backwards and forwards; it was starting to drive me mad and the stupid thing was, this had been going on for a month. Digging, going back for Gon's defensive lesson, and then digging once more. We hadn't bathed or been able to wash our clothes, Biscuit was proving to be a very big slave driver and yet, I could help but feel like me and Killua were being left out. Sure, we were also doing the training, but to me it felt like Biscuit was putting more effort and strength into training Gon…maybe I was wrong, but that's how it felt.
Gon took his stand in front of Biscuit once more as she concentrated Ko into her right fist. Gon looked for determined and serious this time as he concentrated Ren. Me and Killua stood at the edge once more, watching Gon take part in the lesson Biscuit punched Gon sending him backwards again, but this time not on his back. This time, Gon stayed standing and used his arms to block the attack as he skidded across the ground on his feet.
"Good, that was thirty minutes! Over the past month, you've become a lot stronger." Biscuit said as she held her finger up. The three of us pointed at her.
"The number three!" We shouted at the same time, following her rule of "when she points we tell her what we see."
"Bingo! Killua was slightly faster. Gon, Mishka, give me a thousand push-ups." Biscuit said to us, closing her eyes as she smiled widely at us, her finger continuing to glow. Me and Gon dropped to the floor, grumbling and grunting in annoyance of our punishment.
Killua looked down at the two of us, smiling at us with his hands in his pockets as we neared the end of our punishment.
"Okay, we'll being actual combat training today." Biscuit said to us, making me and Gon look up from the ground to her, stopping our push-ups and Killua drag his eyes away from us to look at Biscuit as well.
"Ken!" Biscuit commanded us. Me and Gon quickly stood up then at the same time, the three of us concentrated Ken. Mine wasn't as strong as Gon and Killua's, but I could still hold it for thirty minutes; although it was a struggle…one I kept very much to myself.
"In your current state, your attack power is fifty, defence fifty. So if you're fight each other while using Ken, you won't be able to deal much damage. What should you do?" Biscuit said to us as we looked at her with a determined look, concentrating to keep Ken up. Biscuit looked between the three of us as she waited for an answer…what should we do?
"Use Ko!" Gon said raising his fist into the air.
"You fool. What if they hit you where you aren't using Ko?" Biscuit said to Gon, who dropped his fist back level with his head, closing in eyes in disappointment by his answer and outburst. Killua raised his hand as he took a turn answering the question.
"Use Gyo?" Killua asked her.
"Correct!" Biscuit said to him, making Killua smirk at me and Gon and place a hand on his hips. I couldn't help but pout at him slightly; trust Killua to get it right.
Biscuit lowered down herself into a defensive stance and began using Ken as well.
"From your current fifty-fifty state, at the moment of attack, you shift your fist to seventy POW, and the rest to thirty POW." Biscuit began explaining, making the aura around her body shrink and the one around her fist grow bigger. I couldn't help but knit my brows together in confusion, she had suddenly added in another word and I didn't understand what she meant. Biscuit extended her fist to us as she continued explaining.
"You can use Gyo to alter your POW depending on the situation. This is Ryu! Let's get started…" Biscuit said to us, standing up straight once more. Her aura began disappearing as she lowered her arm back to her side.
"Right hand to seventy POW, rest of your body to thirty POW! It doesn't have to be precise, so try it out." Biscuit said to us. So just concentrate my power into my fist right? The three of us moved forward and extended our right arms in front of us, our hands clenched tightly into fists. We clenched our teeth as we began concentrating shifting how our aura's work…it was hard, very hard.
"Left leg to eighty POW, rest of your body to twenty POW!" Biscuit instructed us, making us change how our aura's were once more. With struggle, we managed to change once more.
"Head to sixty POW, rest of your body to forty POW!" Biscuit instructed once more, not giving us a break in between switching.
She continued to shout instructions at us making us change our auras. Once she stopped we dropped our concentration and began taking in deep breaths. Gon placed his hands on his hips as he took in deep breaths and Killua doubled over, his hands on his knees as he breathed heavily. I leaned my hand onto Gon's shoulder as I bent my knees and dropped my head, taking in deep breaths myself.
"Do this for thirty minutes, three times a day. Add it to your current training menu. Also… We'll begin sparring now." Biscuit said to us as we continued to catch our breaths. We looked at her in confusion.
Biscuit began walking backwards as she kept her eyes on us.
"Use Ryu the way I just taught you. You can start out slow." Biscuit said to us. I let go of Gon's shoulder as the three of us made a small circle between us. If we fought each other at the same time, it meant we were even matches. We concentrated our Nen once more as she stood in our own defensive stances, looking at each other intensely; it was going to feel odd fighting Gon and Killua.
"When you're on the defensive, determine your opponent's attack power before defending with Ryu. With that said… Begin!" Biscuit said to us, raising her hand into the air.
The three of us stared at each other trying to decide who would go first amongst us.
"I'll go first then." Killua said to us, making me and Gon nod. He shifted his weight slightly as he moved his foot, never taking his eyes off of either me or Gon. He moved his leg slowly towards Gon, the leg glowing bigger than the rest of his body. I was trying to determine how much POW he was using, but I didn't understand it well so I couldn't fully decide. Gon lifted his arm concentrating Ryu into that. Killua's leg collided with Gon's arm causing sparks. Neither of them flew away from each other so that must have been pretty even. Gon looked at me indicating he was going to attack me next. I stood myself ready as I watched his fist. He concentrated Ryu, it looked like he was going for maybe seventy POW. I moved my right in front of me, concentrating seventy POW into that. Gon's right fist came into contact with my arm, causing sparks and pushing me back a little. I could only guess that I had guessed wrong; but I wasn't far off.
I looked at Killua as and shifted my weight. Killua watched me carefully as I concentrated seventy POW into my right leg and began slowly lifting it towards Killua. Killua began concentrating Ryu into his left arm as he brought that up in front of him. My shin collided with his arm causing sparks to fly everywhere. Killua had managed to match our POW perfectly. I brought my leg down as we continued our cycle.
It had only been weeks since we started practising everything at once. How many I had decided to given up count for. We were dirty, smelly, covered in dirt, sweat and dust and to top it all off Biscuit still thought I was a boy but hey, why bother correcting her now? If there was one thing I could complain about, I was gravely missing my brother. The only difference this time was that I couldn't just ring him on the phone as we were inside a game; and I felt bad. I wanted to make sure he was doing alright and wasn't over-stressing himself with work. I knew he was in safe hands though, Melody knew exactly how to deal with him and for that I was grateful…I would really need to thank her when I saw her again.
The three of us had gotten faster when sparring against each other, we still sparred against each other as a group of three, standing in our semicircle as we threw punches and kicks at each other; quickly adjusting our POW's to match each other. Sparks flew everywhere as our limbs connected with together. It had gotten easier telling what the other was using now; as much as I hated Biscuits intense training, I was also grateful for it as I had learnt quickly. But rather that was because if I hadn't I would have died is something I was trying to determine.
"Okay! Time for a break!" Biscuit shouted at us. The three of us jumped away from each other and bowed our heads in respect to one another.
"Thank you very much. Osu!" We said to each other at the same time. We stood up straight and looked at each other and smiled widely at each other. We knew there were no hard feelings about fighting against each other; it was all for bettering ourselves.
"It appears you're ready for the final stage." Biscuit said to us smiling widely. Me, Gon and Killua walked over to Biscuit, who had changed her hair into a pony tail as she smiled widely at us with her hands on her hips.
"Final stage?" We questioned her at the same time, looking at her confused.
"Yes, you will begin training in the individual categories." Biscuit said to us holding up her finger once more.
"Three!" We shouted at her, pointing at her finger.
"Bingo! A draw." Biscuit said to us smiling widely.
We dropped our hands to our sides once more as Biscuit laid her hands on top of her dress in front of her, one over the other as she continued to smile widely at us.
"You're free to train solely in your own category. In the case of an Enhancer… You'd want to focus your Enhancer skills, while training in nearby categories of Transmuter and Emitter in a balanced fashion. Then you'll master your own category faster." Biscuit explained to us holding up her finger once more.
"Nine!" We shouted at her, pointing at her finger.
"Bingo! A draw." Biscuit said to us, keeping the wide smile on her face. The three of us smiled widely at each other as we brought our hands back to ourselves.
"Good job, Killua, Mishka." Gon said to me and Killua.
"You as well!" I said to him, smiling widely and nodding my head quickly.
"Same to you." Killua said to him, smiling widely himself.
"Then, let's get started." Biscuit said to us.
"Osu!" We shouted back at her.
Biscuit bent down and picked up a rock, her hand glowing as she held it into the air. We stared at her hand and the rock.
"Today, we'll be training in the Enhancer category. Level one is smashing rocks." Biscuit said to us as she lead up to another rock that was huge and laid on the ground. She placed a rock on top of it, keeping a hold of the rock in her hand and glared at the rock on top of the other rock. She then brought down the rock that was in her hand and slammed it on top of the other rock laying on the huge rock. It smashed into pieces while the rock in Biscuits hand remained unscratched.
"Crush them like this. Smash a thousand with a single rock in a day, and you'll clear the level." Biscuit said to us. We went to collect rocks and began making three piles next to three stones.
Once we had enough we sat on the stones and picked up a rock each. We began concentrating our Nen into our hand with the rock, covering the rock as well as we glared at the rock sitting on top of the flat stone in front of us.
"Begin!" Biscuit instructed us making us begin our torture…lesson. We began smashing the rocks one by one; smash a thousand and the level was clear, that was all we had to do. It sounded easier said than done. My Nen was growing weaker and weaker as we continued to smash the rocks; was this going to be a level that we were stuck on for ages?
"Oh, it crumbled." I heard Gon say next to me making me look at him from the corner of my eyes. He stared at his hand as Biscuit crossed her arms over her chest.
"If it breaks it's all over." She explained to him simply. Gon gritted his teeth together hard as he closed his eyes in frustration.
"Damn!" Gon shouted and leaned forward.
"Damn, I failed!" I heard Killua shout making me look over to him. He fell off backwards from the rock he was sitting on.
"What are you talking about? You did well." Biscuit said to him with her hands on her hips. I felt the rock beginning to break in my hand and quickly brought my eyes to it, watching it crumble away. I frowned widely and furrowed my brows.
"It's broken…" I said simply staring at my empty hand.
"You won't instantly get it and it'll be harder for you because you're a Conjurer." Biscuit explained to me. Hearing that it would be harder for me didn't exactly ease my mind; in a way, it meant I had to work twice as hard as Gon and Killua to prove I could keep up with them.
I heard shuffling and turned my head towards the sound. Killua jumped back to his feet, a determined look on his face as he clenched his hands together tightly into fists.
"Okay! Let's do Transmuter training next." Killua suggested to Biscuit. Me and Gon stared at him as we sat on our rocks, I had brought my hands into my lap as I stared at him.
"Now, now, don't rush. You're only allowed to train one category per day." Biscuit said as she held up a finger. Me, Gon and Killua pointed at her finger, Gon standing up in an instant.
"Six!" We shouted together at her.
"Bingo! A draw." Biscuit said to us as she closed her eyes with a wide smile.
"Again?" Killua questioned disappointedly.
"These days we keep getting draws." Gon grumbled. I looked at them from the corner of my eyes, keeping a straight face.
"I like getting draws; it means I don't have to do a punishment." I said to him before staring back at Biscuit who was staring at us with a wide smile.
"That just shows you three have grown accustomed to using Gyo." Biscuit said to us happily.
"But if there's no winner, it's no fun." Killua said to her.
"Okay, then we'll decide with rock-paper-scissors. The loser does a thousand push-ups!" Gon suggested to us, smiling widely. I looked at him wide eyed before sighing and standing up walking over to the two.
"Sure." Killua said just as determined and happy as Gon. I stopped between the two as I furrowed my brows.
"I guess, although I know I'll be doing the push-ups." I said to them sighing once more to myself. The three of us pulled our arms back and began the little game between us.
"First comes rock… Rock, paper, scissors! One more time!" We said at the same time. Me and Killua had both played scissors and Gon had played rock. Gon held his fist up in the air happily as me and Killua dropped to the floor and began our punishment of one thousand push-ups.
"I win!" Gon shouted happily for his victory.
"Damn…" I heard Killua grumble as we continued our push ups.
My arms grew tired from the constant push-ups, but the end of this all I would have no problem in a game of arm wrestling. I wouldn't beat Gon but maybe I would be able to hold my own.
"Hey, boys… Have you heard the theory that rock-paper-scissors began in martial arts?" Biscuit asked us making us look at her. I nodded my head at her as I stayed pushed up on my arms. Biscuit looked at me questionably, silently asking me to explain.
"Kurapika taught me about that, he taught me a lot when it came to martial arts." I said to her as I shifted myself to sit on my legs.
"Hhmm? Go on explain what you know." Biscuit asked me. I nodded my head once more and stood up. I held out one hand with my fingers out stretched as I looked at the three.
"Paper represents a palm attack." I said to them, switching my hand into the scissors simple, holding two fingers up.
"Scissors represents a finger jab." I said to them and then changed my hand to rock, ultimately holding my hand into a fist.
"Rock represents a punch. They all do different things." I said to them, dropping my hand back to my side. Biscuit nodded her head as she placed her hands onto her hips, smiling at me widely.
"Correct. Long ago, martial arts were mistaken as purely destructive and banned as an evil art, martial artist trained by playing this game." Biscuit explained to us. That part I had actually forgotten. Kurapika liked teaching me a lot of things when it came to what we were doing and how it came to be; and I was usually really interested in the lessons he would give, so forgetting something I was taught shocked me a little bit.
"And that's how rock-paper-scissors came to be." Biscuit said to us with a wide smile on her face. Killua had moved to her side and linked his hands behind his head as he stared at her wide eyed.
"You really are old…" Killua said to her, resulting in Biscuit punching him into the air, sending him flying. I watched as Killua gained air time, looking at him with wide eyes as he fell to the floor and landed back to Earth, hitting his head hard.
"That's it." Gon muttered making the three of us turn to him in confusion.
"Evil Fist." Gon muttered once more, making the three of us look at him in even more confusion as Gon looked at his fist with pure determination. What did Gon even mean by that, Evil Fist?
